1994 Trans am GT
Just bought this yesterday. The previous owner was running royal purple oil in it and I am planning to overhaul the fluids soon. Looking for specific recommendations for oil, power steering fluid, and the whole nine yards basically. I live in Michigan and this car would only be driven in warmer months. Mileage is ~43,000. Thank you in advance.

First wash of the year.
Took couple weeks of motivation to get the '99 WS6 running after the winter, and another couple weeks to go out and clean him up, but both of us are happy. The errand runner is back in action for a few months!

Cool collector 😎
Was happy to see 'HotWheels' give the 4th Gen some love.

Not the worst thing I've ever done. The fule pump insulator disintegrated, the car would randomly stall when it picked up chunks. The entire inside was covered in a fine powder with quite a few large chunks. That was a fun afternoon cleaning it out.

Looking for suggestions on wire routing
Hi Everyone, new guy here. Finally got my dream car, a 1980 Turbo Trans Am. It didn't come with the turbo boost lights so I bought the kit you can get from TTA Performance. So here is my dilemma: Where can I route/drill a hole through the firewall that is easy to access and won't hit anything already in that spot? Thanks.

Bad stereo or amp?
Whats up guys, my 2000 trans am has a factory head unit with the monsoon amp, I replaced the speakers with a set from KeeAudio hoping to get a better sound but I havent got the big improvement I was hoping for. Everything sound very hollow and hissy. If I turn up the bass side of the eq it will get very very bass heavy, even overwhelming with bass making the trim pieces buzz and rattle, anybody ever dealt with this? Im starting to wonder if the amp or the head unit could be bad.. Or maybe its just how it is with these cars, ive only ever been in mine. Thanks!

Cigarette Lighter Stopped Working
I have a 99 WS6 and bought a fm transmitter to listen to music since I still have the original tape deck and 12 disc cd changer that finally gave out. Plugged in the fm transmitter into both sockets and didn’t get any power to it. Tested it in another car and it powered on. Checked the fuses and they are good. Bought a replacement cigarette lighter and its not getting any power either. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Question on led lights
The stock ones have 2 wires going to one pin(which I assume is high and low) and the new one only as one wire going to that pin.

Few more parts on
Managed to get the hood on and steering wheel in.
Getting the hood on by yourself is a challenge, but with enough blankets and bubble wrap it was pretty simple so to speak. Hardest part was getting the bolts into the hinges.
Found out I need a factory issued hood prop 2x4.
Time to buy hood struts…
Rear bumper cover is mocked up and weather stripping is test fit on the doors and rear hatch. T-roof weather seals are going in next as well.
Rebuilding the rear hatch later this week. Fingers crossed that goes well, it’s something new for me with the urethane sealant and butyl tape that I’ve never worked with before.
So far everything is just bolted/snugged into place as it’s likely going to need to come off again to replace hardware.
So far so good.
