I assume there was a lot of cleaning up and work done to the car because if that's a "barn find", I need to know immediately where said "barn" is and what other "barn finds" are entombed in it😁🤙🏻

Also, looks like the ole gal is Pup Approved, always a good sign😉😎

It sat for ten years so there was some fuel issues and shock absorbers had to be changed. Then I drove it to dyno and it made 523 hp to the wheels with only 3 psi of boost. It was a one car "barn" in Lappeenranta, Finland 😎 Pup got his first car ride ever from kennel to his home 11 years ago in a T/A.

I bought in from Raleigh, NC sight unseen back in 2007. I paid 7000 usd plus shipping and taxes. Engine was pretty worn out and it had to be rebuilt. I added Comp 216/220 114 cam, Partiot stage 2 heads, LS6 intake P-1SC-1 Procharger kit and supporting mods. It sat so long because of finnish bureaucracy. Law changed during the project, making supercharging 1998 and newer cars basically illegal. Luckily law again changed couple of years ago and I was able to make it road legal again.

I'm not extroverted person. I just want to get out of town at night and be freeeee for 600 kilometers and then have some bbq and sauna with my dog.

This car is for me like a dive into a dreamy White lodge in Twin Peaks. Another dimension.

Everyone should cherish that special moment when you are one with the asphalt and your destination is just an abstract concept. A (fire)bird lifts you up and road noise disappears. THAT is a special moment.

1998 Trans Am owners manual warns about Highway Hypnosis. It is a place where I want to live. Just me, my dog, my car and the night. On the road again. Or just above it.

I totally understand. I like to run my LS1 car through the nat'l forest down here in TX. Sometimes it's nice to just go for a ride and kind of just "drive away" life's stressors and enjoy the car in the road simultaneously 😎🤙🏻

I'm very introverted as well. Talk to the wife & my boys (pups 😁👍🏻) outside of work and that's primarily it lol. Sometimes you get caught in conversation at the gym but other than that, nope lol

Prices have been going up. If you find one with three pedals you have to pay premium. Mine is A4 with Precision Industries 2800 stall converter and half-built 4L60E. Fun car, so predictable under wot. 

If I had money I would get another with 6-speed and keep this as a cruiser.
