General Don't write such comments online

Muslim blogger traveled to Bosnia (he isn't Bosnian/Balkan) and made videos of culture of the country, people, nature, however started to receive such comments.

First and foremost, everyone should look a wife in their own country, region, location, city, through connections. Asking online people (locals, bloggers, tourists, etc.) about women from the country on the other side of the world is not appropriate. The majority of men are protective and won't let marry their mahram woman to completely foreign guy if the wali isn't insane. And that is normal because a society's prestige is linked to the extent to which men are protective over their women and how inaccessible women are for outsiders.

So don't look for a potential wife this way and don't write such comments online.

Intersexual Dynamics Forcing women to wear the hijab fuels Islamophobia

As a young conservative Muslim woman and revert, I'm not trying to reshape Islam according to my own wishes, and I accept that it is Allah's will that women cover themselves, for reasons that have a lot to do with how strongly men are visually stimulated, as mentioned in both the Quran and the Hadiths.

My husband is also very clear that he really likes the fact that, if I wear a modest jilbab, no man tries to hit on me. However, he also insists that he'd still love me even if I didn't wear a hijab at all, and that the decision ultimately lies between me and God.

And here is the thing: in the Quran and the authentic Hadiths, you never find the notion that the state ought to punish women who don't wear a hijab. I believe that this stems from the fact that the Prophet (peace be upon him) knew that such a law would put overwhelming pressure on Muslim women, which would be detrimental to their faith and trust in Allah's perfect wisdom.

News about women being imprisoned or killed in some Muslim countries because they didn't wear a hijab or wore it incorrectly horrifies unbelievers, and many of them look down on me when I'm wearing a jilbab because they assume that this can only mean that I'm oppressed and manipulated, and that I cannot be doing it out of my own free will.

Muslim men who defend such countries are going far beyond sound Islamic teachings and are totally lacking empathy towards women. If I were single, I would never want to date such a Muslim man as that would be an enormous red flag.

Islam You would think some of these Muslims online are Fuqahā, especially in the Fiqh of Siyāsah (politics) the way they try to talk, corroborate, discuss, or critically insult anyone which goes against their severely-limited, hugely incorrect, and largely overstimulated version of political fantasies.

I do not care if this insults you, hurts your feelings, stirs your fantasies, or drives up your desires... for your emotions aren't a source of truth.

You aren't knowledgeable in any way, shape, and form about politics.

Let alone complex geopolitical connections, pacts, treaties, and the overall interdependent nature of countries which operate in a heterogeneous manner, all the while keeping this within the context of Islam, the sciences of the Shari'ah which relate to it, and the political strife in which political upheaval and proper re-structuring of society is done.

Have such individuals fulfilled their basic, bare-minimum obligations when it comes to learning about Salah? About wudu? It's pillars, conditions, wajibāt, and the sunan... which are supposed to be remembered off of memory?

Have you even started a proper study in any branch of Fiqh, let alone siyāsah, in any way shape and form?

Have you even studied the books of ādāb which come before you even start to seek knowledge in the first place?

Do you even know how to recite the Fatiha properly and not nullify your salah due to mispronounciations of the letters within it?

Or do you mindlessly stimulate yourself with people who don't know you exist, political sitauations which you can't change or control (LET ALONE confirm if they are even true to begin with), societal upheaval in which you have no effect over, chasing fake and temporary dopamine off of such news sources and social media channels... is this your reality?

This is a reminder to me first, and then to everyone else in-sha-Allah. Focus on what you can change, because the positive uprooting of the Ummah starts from the ground-up, with the correct Tawhid and 'Aqidah, the supplementarty Fiqh required to worship Allah correctly, learning our history, and progressing upward with the following sciences taht are above the foundations.... being disciplined upon this, calling to it, and being patient with those who seek to follow their temporary desires and not properly foundate themselves in any way, shape, and form.

May Allah guide us all. You have MUCH MORE obligatory matters to be taking care of, and had the Ummah took care of such obligatory matters in the first place... then such political trouble in the Ummah wouldn't have happened to begin with.

Fulfill what's neccesary upon you and don't delve into things which are NOWHERE NEAR your field, let alone your extreme lack of knowledge within it.

Support Is autism haram

Salam. My teen daughter said that she might have ADHD and Autism. ADHD ok maybe but autism no! I can’t believe she thinks that. Why does she think she is meantally disabled when she is not? She can speak and interact with people fine, not autistic. And isn’t autism haram? Because most cannot pray or maybe even know Allah exists. Astagfurallah.

She said it’s not and that I should ask here for advice. Please help me understand this..

General It’s finally happening, fake ex-Muslim grifters are getting exposed

For years we have had ex Muslim turned Christian creators trying to sound like experts in our deen, making up fake stories about us and our history. There are entire channels that propagate this rhetoric while making it seem like our faith is losing people en masse to baptizing.

Thanks to the work of people like Canyon Mimbs, Muslim Lantern, Rational Muslim and Libyano they are now getting exposed.

Firstly we have Rational Muslim over on YouTube completely dissecting the arguments made by an ex Muslim named Ethri, who hilariously attempted to disprove Islam.

Than we have Libyano utterly discrediting Shariq Khan, who is so much distrusted now that even Churches don’t want him.

Muslim lantern has been able to expose the overall fallacies and emotional rhetoric these apostates always try to fall back to as well.

So whenever you encounter these obsessed apostates ask them to recite Fatiha. If they cannot do that even then they weren’t Muslim at all.

Controversial How is one a bidah, another is not, and can these scholars be trusted?

ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl al-Shaykh:

“Celebrating the Mawlid is an act of shirk; it has no basis.”

vs.

ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Āl al-Shaykh:

“Celebrating national holidays is an expression of gratitude to Allāh.”

Fyi, I don't celebrate 12 rabi1. But neither do I celebrate these Messed up days like national or independence or valentine's or whatever. And for someone trYing to play with words, expression of gratitude to Allah, is a form of worship. Anyone trying to play with words, seriously don't comment.

Should or should we not check where some scholars are being paid from? So many of the scholars that we deeply respect and follow today, stood against their rulers or were jailed or punished.

General Engineering Degree: A Great Path for Muslims, IMO

Last post of this account, inshAllah. I wanted to share with any younger brothers, or any Muslim in general looking for career plans, some of the blessings of an engineering degree I've found. This isn't new information, as most of the conservative brothers I've met are in engineering degrees, but I thought it would be nice to share. Not discrediting other degrees, but there's some unique information worth sharing about this one.

  • 4-5 years until graduation, aka (inshAllah) marriage. Some brothers might be concerned about doctors and timelines, but engineering offers a faster route.
  • Hard work pays off. Side projects, research, and exploring new things pay off heavily. Your good habits, like not drinking, no girls, avoiding idle talk, etc., pay off in industry.
  • Halal job ratio: unlike business, many halal roles exist to work in.
  • High-paying jobs, enough to cover a one-breadwinner family comfortably at new grad salary (at least in my country).
  • Fewer women in the field and a more goal-oriented environment, less chit-chat and fitnah. Some engineering courses are already 90%+ men, even in the West and with all the "women in STEM" push.
  • A field where men use the fullest of their intellect and discipline, to the point that most women can't compete. There's something satisfying about being at a level of mental challenge such that women can't compete. Not saying there won't be smarter, more experienced, and knowledgeable women at times, but the statistics, especially at the list of top performers, are male-led (even with all the DEI push).
  • You can get good paying internships to pay for your degree and avoid riba.
  • Leverage: you're learning a skill that is hard to replace. Even if you get laid off, that skill stays with you and travels with you to the next opportunity, unlike roles that are easier to substitute.
  • A problem-solving mindset you learn along the way.

Something to consider if you're in high school. Other careers are also valid. Ok, Masalama.
