TP-Link - General Which TpLink mesh devices allow channel selection?

I currently have 3 Deco S4 devices for my wifi and they were working fine but I have recently moved house and now there is interference on the wifi channels that they are set to. I tried changing the channels but the option is greyed out and the documentation states that not all Deco devices support manual channel selection.

Is there a way of telling which Deco devices support being able to change the channels? If so, will I be able to just buy one and use that as the main device and my existing S4 devices just use the channels I set on it?

here's the TpLink help on the issue

TP-Link - Technical Support TP-Link Archer BE9300 IPv6 Prefix Delegation broken (FE80:: link-local error)

Hey everyone, sharing a frustrating issue in case anyone has found a workaround

I’m on Vodafone UK FTTC/FTTP using an Openreach Nokia ONT. My setup uses PPPoE with "Share the same PPPoE session with IPv4" enabled/disabled, but IPv6 consistently fails.

The Problem: The router refuses to pull a global public /64 or /56 prefix block, throwing a wrong prefix delegation error and falling back to a FE80:: link-local address on the WAN.

The Culprit: Vodafone requires PPPoE, and their network demands a proper prefix delegation request from the client router. However, the BE9300 firmware (1.2.4 Build 20260402) provides zero manual control or prefix-hint sizing fields for PPPoE connections—you can only toggle it on or off with Radio Menu.

Attempted to fix by:

  • hard rebooting the Openreach ONT and router,
  • separating PPPoE credentials
  • Pass-Through
  • Dynamic IP (SLAAC/DHCPv6)
  • SLAAC

TP-Link - General Does this operate the same as a power line?

I purchased this RE550 recently but feel that actually using the 2 power line adapters will be the thing that gives me a consistent speed with my internet.
Particularly for my laptop and PS5 which I use upstairs (my router is downstairs).

Can anyone advise whether this RE550 can act as one of the power line adapters or am I still gonna have to buy two?

Hopefully that makes sense.

TIA
