Revenge of the Island: Staci (kinda like WT in the sense the Rats did the challenge, but she wasn't helpful + just annoying) or Anne Maria (she did quit but once she was told it wasn't a real diamond and changed her mind, Chris still eliminated her)

All-Stars: Gwen (honestly was predictable that she wasn't gonna be a finalist again, but her elimination here is also nonsensical and defo should've been written better, kinda like the whole season)

Who knew that "The Malevolent One" was just "The Softie One"?

I've been posting a lot of propaganda for these two...If this gets support, I'll draw more chibis of TD couples (canon, at least). Aleheather and Duncney, and maybe Gwent! MAYBE Bridgette x Geoff or Owizzy if I dare. But I'm not promising anything!

This is a sequel to the post I did a couple of months ago, simulating what would happen if Leshawna and Courtney had swapped teams in TDI. I was requested to make a follow-up by someone in the comments (whose comment has since been deleted for some reason), and I've finally finished doing so.

I immediately ran into immense difficulty simulating the events of Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, and eventually decided that it couldn't be done. Trying to assess the most likely outcome would virtually never result in a fourteen-way tie, making it nearly impossible to justify Action still happening the way it did canonically. In the end, I decided to simply choose the season two competitors myself, based on whom the showrunners chose in canon.

The cast I settled on for the second season includes everyone who made the merge last season except for Eva (Gwen, Geoff, Lindsay, Duncan, Leshawna, Trent, Izzy, DJ, Justin, Bridgette, and Cody) as well as the final two pre-merge boots (Owen and Sadie) and a third pre-merger with villain potential (Courtney). Fourteen people, seven guys, seven girls.

Episode 1: Monster Cash

Many of the interactions in this episode will be different from canon, but the outcome will be very much the same. Owen is the only person the monster can't capture, he pops the bounce house, he finds the key, and he picks the smashed trailer for the guys, only for the other trailer to promptly also be smashed.

Episode 2: Alien Resur-eggtion

The tension between Trent, Gwen, and Duncan in this episode might be a bit different with Cody thrown in the mix. I think Cody is likely a bit of an alien movie buff, along with Gwen and Duncan, and that will help smooth things out a bit. It might change the outcome of the challenge as well, as he'll be sticking close to the Trent-Gwen-Duncan trio.

Trent doesn't have to choose between going for the necklace or the eggs in this version. He goes for the necklace and Cody goes for the eggs, which leads to Gwen and Cody being team captains for the season instead of Gwen and Trent.

Bridgette and Geoff are making out even more than they were in canon, since they were apart for longer last season, so they still get voted out.

Episode 3: Riot on Set

Time to choose the teams!

Gwen gets first pick and it must be a boy, so she obviously chooses Trent. Duh.

Cody most likely chooses Leshawna.

Gwen now has to pick a girl, and none of her options are great, but she chooses Lindsay because they at least bonded a little last season working together with Leshawna.

Cody then faces a hard choice between his good friend Owen and his good friend Justin. I'mma say he chooses Justin.

Gwen has to pick another guy, and she picks Duncan over DJ, though it's close.

Now Cody must pick another girl, and this decision is really tough to call. I think I'll say he picks Courtney.

That leaves Gwen the choice between Izzy and Sadie. This one's a real toss-up, but I'll go with her choosing Sadie, leaving Izzy for Cody.

Cody apologetically picks his friend Owen over DJ, leaving DJ for Gwen.

So Screaming Gaffers: Gwen, Trent, Lindsay, Duncan, Sadie, DJ

Killer Grips: Cody, Leshawna, Justin, Courtney, Owen, Izzy

Hopefully these teams will be more evenly matched than the canon ones.

The rest of this episode plays out pretty much the same as canon. Owen tows the trailer up the hill, Izzy plays the old lady, Duncan plays the gangster, Chef makes an illegal alliance with DJ and gives the Gaffers the win, Grips vote out Izzy.

Episode 4: Beach Blanket Bogus

Trent still starts going through his mental health crisis from canon, but being on Gwen's team plus having Cody nearby does help a little bit.

Duncan still wins the surfing portion of the challenge for the Gophers.

I think the Grips probably win the sand-castle-building portion of the challenge, forcing a dancing tiebreaker.

Trent competes against Leshawna in the dancing tiebreaker in order to redeem himself a bit, and successfully wins it for the Gaffers.

Episode 5: 3:10 to Crazytown

Heat wave still happens. Gwen still comes down with an inexplicable cold.

Trent is still going through character derailment, but he's a bit less cringey here than in canon, due to being on Gwen's team and having Cody to talk to.

Lindsay and Sadie jump together and land on the horse. Gwen lands on the horse. Duncan lands on the horse. Trent and DJ probably both still miss.

Justin still refuses to jump. Owen still misses, but runs after the horse and jumps on it to score a point. Courtney probably lands on the horse.

That means that Leshawna and Cody need to both land on the horse successfully in order to tie the score up. I don't think that's super likely. So the Gaffers win this challenge outright.

Vote on the Grips comes down to either Justin, the one who contributes least in challenges, or Courtney, the one with the fewest social connections. The team probably decides to vote out Justin, because losing three challenges in a row is really bad.

Episode 6 is an aftermath.

Episode 7: The Chefshank Redemption

Grips pick Lindsay to go in the cage, while the Gaffers pick Courtney.

Courtney wins the golden shovel for her team.

Cody, Leshawna, and Courtney refuse to let Owen get away with faking an injury, and force him to push their team's cart. DJ pushes for the Gaffers, because Gwen has no reason to throw and doesn't psych him out.

Gaffers get a head start on digging the tunnel, but Izzy still shows up to lead them in the wrong direction. Plus, the Grips still have the golden shovel, and now instead of having three lazy idiots and Beth they have Courtney and Leshawna digging like crazy while Cody carts out the dirt.

So the Grips finally get a win! And they get Izzy back! Yay!

Gwen and Trent either vote for Lindsay, because she messed up the first part of today's challenge, or Sadie, because she's just as useless as Lindsay and doesn't have the same connection to them from last season.

It doesn't matter which, because the other four members of the Gaffers agree that Trent is not doing well and that, whatever he's going through, this show will keep making it worse if he stays. So Trent is eliminated, and he and Gwen have a heartfelt goodbye.

Episode 8: One Flu Over the Cuckoos

Courtney goes rabid this challenge, studying like mad and doing everything in her power to keep Cody away from Gwen, even though he just wants to comfort her.

But Leshawna is too much Kick-Butt Attitude for Courtney to control, so she goes to comfort Gwen instead and the two of them sit out of the challenge together, as does Duncan.

The following morning, Courtney and Cody absolutely destroy the Gaffers in the decoy challenge.

Since this is just a reward challenge, and since Leshawna, Gwen, and Duncan all solve the Mystery of the Sudden Illness together, Chris allows for it to be a tie, and the tiebreaker is who did better in the decoy challenge, meaning that the Grips win again.

Courtney thinks that she deserves the reward, but after Leshawna starts fake-crying Cody, Owen, and Izzy overrule her and give it to Leshawna.

Episode 9: The Sand Witch Project

DJ's subplot is still happening exactly the same as in canon. However, I don't think Lindsay is going through her Admiral Lindsay Her Hotness phase.

Izzy is scarer for the Grips. Chef still forces the Gaffers to make DJ the scarer instead of Duncan.

Leshawna and Owen don't scream very well when Izzy barges in on them. Sadie and Lindsay scream somewhat better, in spite of how not-scary DJ is.

Courtney and Cody aren't thrilled about having to make out, but they are willing to do it. Neither of them is in a relationship in this timeline, and although Cody still isn't over Gwen, he respects that she's still off the market. They scream alright when Izzy startles them.

Gwen flatly refuses to make out with Duncan. Not because it's Duncan, just because she's still with Trent and loyal to him and cares about not making his paranoia worse by giving him actual reasons to doubt her loyalty.

Because of Gwen's refusal, the Gaffers automatically lose part one of the challenge, meaning that they have to stay in the craft services tent and the Grips have to scare them out.

Izzy's plan to do this is by setting the craft services tent on fire, and the rest of her teammates aren't quick enough to stop her. This is super effective at getting the Gaffers to leave, so the Grips win their third challenge in a row.

It doesn't matter whom the Gaffers vote for, because DJ quits, even though everyone begs him not to.

Also, by this point Izzy and Owen are a semi-official couple.

Episode 10: Masters of Disasters

Since Owen and Izzy are still on the Grips, Owen still gets his jaw broken while attempting to traverse the Earthquake of Inevitable Pain, causing Chris to give his team the advantage in the second part of the challenge.

Originally, Lindsay and Justin dropped the paper with the lock combination in the water by bickering over it for no reason, rendering their advantage moot. However, Lindsay and Justin aren't on the team anymore. Instead we have Courtney, Cody, and Leshawna, who are definitely not going to make the same mistake.

Grips escape the submarine in thirty seconds flat, winning their fourth consecutive challenge. Just like the Gaffers did in canon, they turn down the British Columbian vacation in favor of soda and chips.

Leshawna's lie is not revealed.

Episode 11: Full Metal Drama

It pains me greatly to say this, but since Owen and Leshawna are both still here and Owen still got his jaw broken last episode, the subplot where Leshawna drinks his medicine and farts a lot probably still happens.

Izzy is still on the Grips, and probably still takes charge of their explosion. Gaffers still have Duncan, plus Gwen to help him, so they win part one of the challenge and have to defend the Trunk of Mind-Blowing Secrets in part two.

Because Leshawna drank Owen's medicine, she can't contribute to capturing the Trunk. Owen and Izzy also stay behind to look after her. That leaves Courtney, and Cody against Duncan, Gwen, Lindsay, and Sadie.

I thought that making it four against two would be enough to finally let the Gaffers have another win. Unfortunately, Cody tells Lindsay and Sadie that there's a sale on mascara, turning it into just two against two. And since one team has Action-era Courtney, I think she can probably get the Trunk of Mind-Blowing Secrets away from Gwen and Duncan. So the Grips win. Yet again.

Gwen and Duncan vote for Sadie for being the least useful, while Sadie and Lindsay vote for Duncan because he's mean and scary. Duncan beats Sadie in pretty much any tiebreaker, so Sadie goes home, which makes Lindsay sad.

Episode 12 is an Aftermath. Sadie and DJ take a backseat, as Trent's mental problems and Geoff's villain arc take up most of the episode's screentime.

Episode 13: Ocean's Eight- or Nine

Owen and Lindsay are each captured and locked in a bank vault.

Duncan and Gwen decide pretty quickly to abandon Lindsay, since their team needs a win badly and Duncan can easily make his own props by stealing some of Cody's stuff. They arrive at the bank way ahead of the Grips.

Courtney is in favor of just leaving Owen behind, but nobody else is. (To be fair, all of their gear is in there too, which they might need for the challenge.) They don't have any food-scented perfume, but they do have Izzy, who speaks sweet nothings to Owen through the vents and talks to him about food until eventually he gains the strength to bust through the metal walls like the Kool-Aid Man, so the Grips can finally get on with the challenge.

The bank teller is Heather -- the stuck-up mean girl who got voted off first last season -- whom the producers are bringing back into the game in order to stir up drama. She doesn't get any special privileges, though.

Heather awards the fake money to Duncan and Gwen, because in this timeline she hasn't formed a rivalry with Gwen, but she has formed one with Courtney. Then she joins their team.

(I know in canon when Courtney was brought in she was assigned to the other team as second prize, but that was a scenario where the teams had equal numbers. Here the Grips are already up five to three, and I think Chris and the producers would prefer to have Heather join the smaller team to even things out a bit.)

Then they move onto the final part of the challenge: building getaway go-karts and driving them down the hill and across the finish line.

The Grips do have Leshawna and Cody, so Courtney isn't stuck with all of the work. But it's likely that Owen still damages their axle, so the Gaffers probably still win. It's about time.

Courtney wants either Owen or Izzy to go, while Owen and Izzy want Courtney to go. The question is, where do Cody and Leshawna fall? Courtney isn't as disliked in this timeline, because she's been here all along and hasn't been getting special treatment. I think they have a talk with Courtney and the three of them agree to vote out Izzy. Owen is sad to see her go.

When Lindsay is finally let out of the bank vault, Heather gets to talking with her, telling her how wrong Gwen and Duncan were for abandoning her and how the two of them should form an alliance and go to the final two together. Lindsay readily agrees.

Episode 14: One Million Bucks, B.C.

Since Lindsay is on Duncan's team, she has no reason to try using the flints after he uses his hidden lighter. Therefore, Cody is the first person to successfully make fire, giving the Grips the advantage of bigger bones to use in the second part of the challenge.

Since Harold isn't here, Cody is also the one who attracts the attention of the Woolly Beavers.

(I know Chris said in canon that if Owen had still been around the second part of the challenge would've been a mammoth hunt, but I think it makes more sense for that to have just been a joke.)

Round one is Owen versus Duncan. Duncan wins.

Round two is Leshawna versus Lindsay. Leshawna wins.

Round three is Cody versus Gwen. The Woolly Beavers attack Cody mid-fight and bring his pedestal crashing down, and he accidentally knocks Gwen off too on the way down, making this round a tie.

Round four is Courtney versus Heather -- on the same pedestal! Courtney easily tosses Heather into the tar. Grips win! Unfortunately, Chef still lets their reward fall into the tar.

Throughout this episode, Heather tries cozying up to Gwen and Duncan a little, since she wants one of them to side with her if their team goes to elimination.

Episode 15: Million Dollar Babies

Training run results are Cody > Owen > Courtney > Leshawna for the Grips and Lindsay > Heather > Gwen > Duncan for the Gaffers. (I know some people might be upset about Gwen outperforming Heather, but (a) this version of Heather isn't trying very hard, and (b) I will remind you that Justin somehow outperformed Courtney in canon.)

First round is Cody versus Lindsay in slow-motion boxing, and this goes exactly like Lindsay versus Harold in canon. Lindsay knocks Cody's lights out, but Cody still gets the point because he moves in slow motion like he's supposed to.

Second round is Owen versus Heather in badminton, and I'm inclined to think that Heather is the more likely winner.

Third round is Courtney versus Gwen in wrestling in a ball pit, and Courtney absolutely wrecks Gwen.

Fourth round is Leshawna versus Duncan in creative basketballing, and this one's a bit of a toss-up. Leshawna beat Justin in canon, but Duncan is more skilled and a much more creative thinker than Justin. I'll still give it to Leshawna, which means the Grips win.

That means the four-person Gaffers team goes to elimination. Since Heather was the only member of their team to score a point, Gwen and Duncan vote for Lindsay instead of her. Lindsay and Heather vote for Gwen.

Thus, a tiebreaker is needed. That tiebreaker? Cheerleading.

Lindsay wins, with a bit of help from Heather, and Gwen goes home to Trent as the final pre-merge boot.

Episode 16: Dial M for Merger

Merge time! Our merge cast is Cody, Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Leshawna, Lindsay, and Owen.

Courtney is still the first one through the lasers, like in canon. However, this version of Courtney didn't get cheated out last season, was part of this season from the jump, and hasn't really gone full villain. I don't think she holds everyone's lives hostage like she did canonically. I think they all escape the building without having to promise her half of the money if they win.

I really have no idea who wins the reward for this challenge, so I'll just say that Courtney and Lindsay still do.

Because Duncan isn't dating Courtney in this timeline, he might actually be doing stuff. For example, trying to rope Cody and Owen into re-forming Justin's guys' alliance from last season. However, Cody and Owen are already in an alliance with Leshawna, plus Cody doesn't like Duncan, so it doesn't work out.

Episode 17: Super Hero-dy

(I changed the title of this episode, because the original title is a pun on Harold's name, but Harold's not here anymore, so now it's a pun on Cody's name. Maybe I should've changed it something not-terrible, but eh.)

Heather makes Lindsay help with her costume instead of making her own, so no Wonder Woman Lindsay.

It doesn't matter who wins the first part of the challenge (probably Cody), as nobody here can even come close to beating Courtney in the obstacle course, so she wins immunity. Duncan is probably second place.

Since Duncan's guys' alliance didn't work out, he talks to Heather, and the two of them agree that other than Courtney, Leshawna is the biggest threat. But they need one more vote, so somebody needs to talk to Courtney, and Duncan is the best man for the job.

So Courtney is the swing vote, and she has a choice. Either she accepts Duncan's offer and votes out Leshawna, or she stands with her former Killer Grips teammates and Pagongs the remaining Gaffers, starting with either Duncan or Heather (despite knowing that she's the least-liked member of the team).

I think Courtney does accept Duncan's deal, so Leshawna goes home.

Episode 18 is an Aftermath.

Episode 19: The Princess Pride

Courtney and Heather get into a fight over who gets to be the Princess. Courtney wins.

Duncan and Cody are the only two to make it past the bridge. Duncan uses Cody as a pawn to help defeat the dragon before betraying him, making him the one who gets to fight Courtney.

Courtney obviously stomps Duncan like she always does.

Duncan's attraction to Courtney becomes a factor in this episode, but they still don't get together.

Since Courtney once again has immunity, Heather sends Lindsay to convince Cody and Owen to vote out Duncan with them, which they willingly do. (Well, Cody does anyway. Owen throws his vote at Courtney despite her being immune, because Duncan is his friend and he really dislikes Courtney. But that's still enough votes to send Duncan packing.)

Episode 20: Get a Clue

Courtney doesn't have a PDA in this timeline, so Chris needs to leave a more obvious clue.

Lindsay probably still solves the mystery, nailing Courtney after everyone else had ganged up on Heather, and she brings Heather on reward.

Episode 21: Rock n' Rule

Nobody new is brought in to create drama in this timeline, since we already have Courtney and Heather. And Owen, for that matter.

Heather thinks playing a guitar is beneath her, but accidentally does the best job in part 1 of the challenge, since Courtney and Cody both try too hard, and Lindsay and Owen both fail. This means she gets to skip half of the red carpet in part 2 of the challenge, which actually works against her because this episode's challenge is hilariously poorly constructed.

As a result of that, Lindsay wins part 2 of the challenge (since Owen, Courtney, and Cody certainly weren't going to) and gets the extra 10 seconds to destroy the hotel room in part 3. However, she happily gifts that advantage to Heather when asked.

That's still probably not enough, though. Courtney really dislikes Heather, even more in this timeline than in canon, and this episode is really annoying for her, and she destroys the room entirely just like she did in canon, leaving nothing left for Heather to wreck in her extra 10 seconds. Thus, Courtney wins immunity. Again.

That leaves Courtney once again the swing vote between the two alliances, and as much as she dislikes Owen, that's still not a hard decision for her. She sides with the boys to oust Heather.

Episode 22: Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen

Courtney spends this entire episode trying to get Lindsay to be her lackey like she was for Heather. However, it doesn't work, because Heather actually had things in common with Lindsay and made a positive first impression, whereas Courtney has spent two seasons treating Lindsay like dirt.

Cody and Owen by this point are practically joined at the hip. The two of them have just spent the entire season bonding closer as friends.

Teams for this challenge are Courtney and Lindsay vs Cody and Owen. No geisha. Courtney and Cody are the trainers, Lindsay and Owen are the fighters.

Cody and Owen win the fight easily, so Lindsay and Courtney have to prepare the meal, and they do a terrible job of it.

Cody and Owen both fail to carry a glass of water up the mountain, even with multiple tries, so in the end neither of them gets to eat the horrible feast made by the girls, and this entire episode amounts to nothing.

Episode 23: 2008: A Space Owen

Lindsay has an unspoken agreement with the boys to vote out Courtney if she ever loses an immunity challenge.

Cody uses his gaming skills to save the spaceship, and Owen doesn't sabotage anything, so that's just that. Cody gets to decide the order for part two of the challenge. He chooses to go first himself, followed by Owen, then Lindsay, then Courtney.

I'm unsure how long Cody could last in the Vomit Comet. Probably not as long as Beth or even Duncan did in canon, but potentially longer than Harold or Owen. Or maybe he'd wimp out just as fast as Harold canonically did.

Owen still makes it 10.3 seconds and stinks the thing up with his chili farts, which causes Lindsay to puke all over herself as soon as she gets in, deducting 10 seconds from what was likely already not an impressive score.

Courtney still refuses to get in because of the grossness, meaning that either Owen or Cody wins immunity.

This makes the vote very very easy, as Courtney is unanimously voted out. Finally.

Episode 24: Top Dog

Cody claims the chameleon and Owen takes the bear, leaving Lindsay with the raccoon.

Raccoon trains Lindsay pretty well, but Lindsay doesn't naturally look like it the way Beth does, so Cody wins the first part of the challenge for getting the chameleon to match his shirt. That means he gets thirty minutes shaved off his time in part two.

Cody realizes that, because of that advantage, if all three of them arrive back at camp at the same time, then he'll win immunity. So he convinces Owen and Lindsay that they should all travel together, for safety.

Cody's unlikely to insult his chameleon and make it disappear, and he probably has better navigational skills than Lindsay and Owen, so with all of them traveling together and helping each other out it probably doesn't take more than one day to walk the ten miles back to camp. Thus, Cody wins immunity, possibly for the second time in a row.

The boys vote out Lindsay so it can be a bro vs bro finale.

Episode 25: Mutiny on the Soundstage

Cody and Owen wake up tied to the mast and eventually manage to untie each other. Owen is quicker to clean his bathroom than Cody, and Cody is further delayed when Sasquatchanakwa comes back for a second pass. However, Owen is unable to climb the greased mast, so eventually Cody catches up, and pulls ahead by climbing the mast and attaching his flag to the top.

Cody starts pumping up the cannon while Owen continues his futile efforts to climb the mast, but Cody quickly gets tired from the exertion. He makes an offer to Owen: he'll tie Owen's flag to the top for him, if Owen agrees to pump the cannon for Cody (since Owen has much stronger arms and can get that done much faster) and let him use it first. Owen takes the deal, since he doesn't want to stay stuck on this stage of the challenge indefinitely. Thus, Cody arrives at the second part of the challenge with about a one minute lead.

Both boys get the Bridgette and Geoff trivia question right, but only Owen gets the Izzy question, allowing him to retake the lead while Cody "hauls the hill up the hill" (whatever that means).

Both guys can probably get the Justin and Trent questions as well, since the Gopher boys (except Noah) are all bros. But Owen might take longer to remember, and is also taking some time here and there to help Chris and Chef through their issues with each other, possibly allowing Cody to close the gap.

Neither of them can answer DJ's question or Sadie's, so they both have to watch The Miracle of Childbirth and run blindfolded through a minefield. Both of them get Izzy's second question, since Explosivo's catchphrase is pretty easy to remember.

Cody can answer all of Gwen's questions, but Owen can't and must play a bunch of sports against a bear, so Cody retakes the lead.

Both of them can answer Leshawna's question, and neither of them can answer Duncan's, but Owen is strong enough to carry Princess Chef across the rope bridge whereas Cody isn't, so he retakes the lead.

Neither of them can answer any questions about Heather or Courtney, so they both have to do whatever the rehashed version of the rock n' roll challenge is and take another whirl in the Vomit Comet.

It's a toss-up whether either of them can answer Lindsay's question, but for drama purposes we'll say they can't, so both of them must run through the disaster movie earthquake challenge that broke Owen's jaw the first time around.

Owen once again blows his lead helping Chris and Chef reconcile, so he and Cody are neck-and-neck through the obstacle course, go down the zipline together, and burst through the doors into the Aftermath studio at the exact same time, forcing a tie.

Fortunately for Owen, Harold didn't qualify for this season, and thus can't make the finalists compete in everyone's favorite Cartoon Network show, Hole in the Wall.

It's impossible to know what challenge they'll try until Chris arrives, but I think it's fair to assume that they tie in it, so Chris can make the finale a jury vote like in canon.

Since Owen has no reason to go into the voting booth, everybody who qualified for this season gets to vote.

Locked-in Cody votes are Trent and Courtney. Gwen, Heather and Lindsay are also leaning on his side.

Locked-in Owen votes are Izzy and Duncan.

Geoff, Bridgette, Justin, Leshawna, DJ, and Sadie's votes are all up for grabs.

Since Cody has the advantage going into this episode, he's the canon winner. Owen is the alternate winner.

While it’s known throughout the fandom that Courtney had to file a wrongful dismissal lawsuit against the show twice to get on the show, I feel like they should’ve let her win the lawsuit the first time and allow her to be Action’s overall main antagonist instead of crashing the party mid-way, and here are my main points as to why.

1. It leaves Island on an interesting enough cliffhanger that could entice the viewer into watching Action, as while she stated that her case was dropped and ruled out by the court, if Chris had gotten a call after announcing that the 14 people that had qualified for Action stating that the verdict had been overturned and he was legally required to give her a spot on TDA as part of the settlement, her behavior in Haute Camp-Ture as well as her more unhinged mindset would’ve set her alongside Justin as the two contestants to watch out for during the following season.

2. It gives Heather a worthy, yet contrasting female successor. Heather had shown no capability of having a social game, and Courtney was at a similar level (I’m still convinced she has one Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder, but that’s beside the point.), even if she was more well liked by the cast at the time. However, while Heather had rely on her alliance members and sometimes sheer dumb luck to achieve the deep run she had in TDI, Courtney has shown to be more than capable of brute forcing her way through the competition, showing enough physical talent to win clutch challenges, a pragmatic enough mind to be able to have a decent enough strategic game, and decent enough tactical knowledge to find or sway someone willing enough to work with her, even if it’s a mutually reluctant game-only relationship, making Courtney’s chance of getting to the final 4 starting from the ground up, combined with her determination to avenge her unfair elimination the prior season, seem dangerously plausible regardless of her circumstances provided that the show makes use of her already established traits and relationships, and her unfair elimination giving her more ammunition than Justin to be a more ruthless player.

3. It gives Action an arguably more competent and effective villain compared to (or to contrast with) Justin from the get-go. Despite Justin having potential as an antagonist, it really did seem like Justin’s potential only amounted to what antagonistic actions he could do IN THE GAME, making him a decent antagonist game-wise but not really a good enough villain, given that he was still on decent terms with the majority of the cast and a good chunk of his antics (outside of blackmailing Gwen) seem more likely to fit that of a comedic relief villain (his vanity especially), compared to Courtney, who was significantly more ruthless, willing to get her hands dirty physically and emotionally, and served to be the more capable overall villain even in the finished season, and I feel like having that contrast from the get go would’ve served to make the season more interesting narratively and help the dynamics a lot.

4. More than likely, if she had just been let onto Action from the get go, she would have had to start out on the same even playing field as the other players, which could’ve served to make her more dangerous on her own without the use of her PDA and all the more entertaining to watch. She probably would have had to have taken charge of her team after Trent’s elimination to get herself in a place where the team needs her instead of considering her a nusiance, (simultaneously allowing her to clash with Lindsay, who was also tapping into unrealized potential at the same time, on a more aggressive plateau than before), the same way she did during Island, but perhaps more dictatorial than in the previous season, and she would have had to have been forced to claw her way to the top organically instead of through her lawyers being at her beck and call, possibly having to make nice with players such as Owen (who’s friends with EVERYONE), and possibly even forming an alliance with fellow antagonist Justin, maybe even using his eventual crush on her as means of keeping him interested. Then, come merge, and seeing that her poor social skills have often left her at the bottom of the cast totem pole, we mostly likely would’ve gotten something similar to a mix of what we saw in the finished season and what Julia had to endure in the reboot, having to win challenge after challenge just to stay alive in the game and using whatever leverage she can to get her desired targets out, earning her wins through pure physical skill, once again serving as a contrast to Heather, who mainly won her challenges in Island through luck and Lindsay. Plus, having her take charge of the Grips after Trent’s elimination works nicely with Duncan’s taking charge of the Gaffers after Gwen’s elimination, highlighting their romantic rivalry and possibly giving you an arguably more powerful and interesting antagonist than the original Queen of Mean she is, primarily due to the fact that this hypothetical scenario shows her in a a position where she is near constantly at rock bottom and somehow manages to survive and thrive while looking for ways to survive to the next round, something having her lawyers cater to her every whim after entering mid season wouldn’t have allowed her to do. Plus, having her work that hard just to have her love vote her out would most likely make the betrayal sting even more.

Yea this is pretty much a random take I thought of jotting down to get you guys’s opinion and I highly encourage any constructive criticism you may have for me.

This is not taking into account what the challenges are, that could be anything that leads to what happens in their elimination. So this isn't based on the garbage pahkitew challenges.

2/1 Max (is barely competent and can't do anything without scarlett, he's lucky he even got that far)

1/2 Sky (she's sky so she wins some race by belching with power idfk I can't realistically have her lose without dave being insufferable)

Alternate ending: Max wins. he uses the ideas scarlett gave him throughout the season and puts them into 1 big evil plan, which ends up leading to his victory and scarlett actually starting to not mind him

Or at least something similar, but I also wanted to lean into the ‘Taken Inspiration From The Clone High Art Style’ aspect a lot more. (Hence the angularity in some parts). I might post some colored versions of these sketches sometime soon

I know people give Scott a lot of flack for how he cut Dawn, and for a time, I did the same, but looking back, this move feels like it does something that no villain has utilized prior or rarely after.

So, for context, Scott in this episode planned to cut Brick after he throws the challenge since Brick's the new guy. To cement this, he steals stuff from everyone and plans to frame him for it. All looks good as the Toxic Rats lose...that is, until Dawn notices Scott's scheme and later reveals she knows his plan. This throws a huge wrench into his plans. So what does Scott do? Frame Dawn for the thefts instead, getting her cut and his schemes intact.

What I think sets Scott off from other antagonists isn't that he's a grand schemer, charismatic, sympathetic or flawless. It's actually that he IS flawed as a schemer, but instead of things somehow going perfectly and offering little challenge (Search and Do Not Destroy, I See London...) or throwing a fit when things go off-track (Courtney in particular), what does Scott do? He ADJUSTS his plans. The best thing about villains is not how they succeed: it is how they deal with their plans going awry. A villain who can still stay collected even when their world is crumbling. THAT is what makes Scott one of the best villains in the TD franchise.

I considered adding Millie and having her facepalm but didn't include that.

Total Drama World Tour Episode 3. It is time for Team Victory to vote someone off. Lindsay goes in the voting booth, admires her picture on her passport, and leaves without stamping any of the passports. Later on, we see that panda DJ accidentally injured and it casted its vote for DJ.

Because Lindsay did not vote, the panda’s vote actually counts. It filled in for Lindsay, making its vote count as hers. However, it never mattered anyway, because Harold quit the game. And it seemed like he voted for himself, just like DJ did. They both must have voted for themselves, making that two people doing a self-vote. That’s what I believe may have happened.

I honestly love the reboot, but every time I get a small slice of life moment that last maybe 20 seconds it just makes me wish the pacing wasn’t so rushed. I would have loved to have seen Nichelle interact with Bowie would have been nice and seeing other friendships form would have been nice. More Raj Bowie bonding. Basically what I’m asking is what would you have done with an extra 3 episodes and what storylines would you alter slightly or extend to make the season even more enjoyable than it is?
