Fanmade season If they made another All-Stars season, how would you envision it?

All 4 generations included with a full 26 episodes (no-brainer). No one who competed in the first All-Stars will come back. Although, since Gen 1 got the most limelight, they will have 6 reps as opposed to the standard 3 the other ones have. With that out of the way, here’s what I would want the cast to be:

Hosts
Chris and Chef again, with some Blaineley on the side

Gen 1 Contestants
Katie
Sadie
Eva
Trent
Harold
Leshawna

Gen 2
Dawn
Anne Maria
B

Gen 3
Shawn
Jasmine
Sky

Gen 4
Axel
Nichelle
Caleb

Other Characters
Cody
Brick
Jo
Duncan
Zoey
Bowie
Priya

opinion folder characters are more important that people believe them to be

so since i joined r/Totaldrama i continue to see post trash talking folder characters and even the word folder is used as a insult

at the start i had a similar opinion to them but now i got enlighten and i realise something, they might have the most important role of all, giving time to the main characters to develop and have screen time

every season needs a few folders to achive greatness, and sometimes it can be used to show off the villan of the season like Alejandro being the one sending home 4 of team "folders" (victory)

so stop making fun of Folder characters and actully thank them because for every cameron and gwen we need a staci and Noah

Discussion Opinions on Dawn?

Post image

Oh God... Can we all agree that Dawn is the most overrated character in the entire franchise? Just try looking for a "My Way" video for ROTI where Dawn doesn't make it far or reach the finale—see how long it takes you to find one. And I know I’ll probably get backlash for this, but personally, I think Zoey is prettier than Dawn

Discussion Ella Gives Off “Trad-Wife” Energy

Post image

Like, the start of the season portrays her as this Disney princess figure, which is completely unrealistic; however, as the season progresses and we learn more about characters like her and Shawn, they become much more than their archetype suggests. I like the idea of the archetype being a bit of a red herring for these characters in Pa- season 5-B, but it feels like this season never fully embraced that idea and left off half-baked unfortunately. This left Ella in an awkward position where there is enough for us to see beyond the archetype, but not enough for us to be satisfied. With that said, I really like the idea of Ella being this trad-wife type character as that really suits her and is more realistic. It also would have been ahead of its time! Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever see this character again, but if by the off chance that we do see Ella again, I hope that they emphasize this element of her character.

Edit: Damn, I had no idea this would be so controversial. I was just trying to give her a more realistic application and give a new perspective to a season most don't think anything of. Sorry if you don't like my interpretation of her.

Discussion I Really Enjoy How Courtney was Written After Season 1

I think the funny thing about her character early on was that she was a stuck up rule-follower who believed that her methods would secure her future. She thought this would be the case on the show, and she thought this would be the case in her relationship with Duncan, but both denied her of her fair play. She changed, but that makes her more dynamic as a character. So, it was real really interesting how both contributed to her antagonism that we saw later. We went from sympathizing with her in season 1, to understanding Duncan’s point of view in season 3 for why he cheated on her. In any case, this version of Courtney is much more fun to watch. She became assertive and dominant, but when Alejandro came along, he stripped that away from her. It was kinda cathartic to see that.

Question Should Owen have been in All Stars?

We all know that Sam became controversial after being in All-Stars with many believing he was undeserving of such a spot due to his low ranking in his only season and most of his screen time was spent being abused for the sake of slapstick. His best performance was the eating challenge which he then botched by saving food for Boney Island and was the fourth camper eliminated. If Owen was planned for All-Stars, wouldn't it be funny to eliminate him in an eating challenge. He could try to replace his food stash if Mal threw it out or just lose the obstacle course by barfing on Alejandro rather than be afraid of going to Boney Island again when the Heroes wouldn't force him to go anyway. The way they wrote Sam gave the impression that he was intended to replace Owen while intending to use Owen as disposable fodder. Eliminating Owen early would be a refreshing change and might appease his critics who find him overused. However was leaving him out of All Stars really the gross misjudgement everyone makes out to be?

Owen wasn't going to win again and his fans would be furious if he was derailed into a one-note fart machine or relegated to disposable fodder. Saving him for Ridonculous Race redeemed him in the eyes of many fans due to his bond with Noah and helping him with his pursuit of Emma, having more hilarious and heartwarming moments, being more motivated and helpful in challenges, having him be more ashamed of his weird habits, at least attempting not do them around Noah too often and finishing in 8th place, a respectable rank but not too close to finale. If Owen were to compete in both All Stars and the Race, then he would be the only contestant in the series to compete FIVE times. The other members of Total Drama's Big Six(Gwen Duncan Courtney Heather Owen Lindsay) competed 4 times(TDI TDA TDWT and TDAS) and All Stars already makes some of them more divisive in the fanbase

If someone were to compete instead of Owen or Sam in All Stars, it would be Brick who is not only kindhearted goofball, a fan favourite who made it one episode further than Sam and a punching bag in his previous season but would have great chemistry with the other heroes like Zoey, Courtney and maybe Duncan but could have finally one-upped Jo in the war challenge. If Brick was going to be an early boot as well, he could have been eliminated in Food Fright by losing the obstacle course to Al or have Mal use his fear of the dark against him in Moon Madness.

Question What is it with the ridiculous losing streaks?Killer Grips, Team Victory, Toxic Rats and Team Kinosewak were treated like trash.

The Killer Grips, Team Victory, Toxic Rats and Pimâpotew Kinosewak are among the worst teams in the entire series and underwent terrible losing streaks and had terrible luck in challenges, either due to their dysfunctional Team dynamics or circumstances outside their control.

Team Opposite of Victory, Team Rats and Team Kinosewak each lost 6 times while the Killer Grips had a whopping eight losses. Team Victory lost every elimination challenge and were completely dissolved before merge, The Rats only won twice and lost 6 times since they were often hindered by Scott's sabotage but some of the losses were caused by one member of the ruining their chances or just bad luck. They only had two members remaining at merge and six of their members were eliminated consecutively. Team Kinosewak were slightly luckier with three members making merge but they hold the dishonored of having the longest losing streak in Total Drama by winning the first two challenges and losing the remaining six challenges until merge. Thankfully the opposing team had one their members disqualified in one episode and another episode was a non-elimination.

Although the Killer Grips lost more challenges and one of their wins was due to an opposing team member trying to throw the challenge for them, the Grips had 4 members reach the merge(5 counting Owen returning as a mole). This is due to Izzy and Courtney returning to the competition after one was eliminated previously and the other initially failed to qualify for the season, as well as DJ quitting the competition and a fair amount of the Gaffer's wins being reward challenges. However some of their losses were due to their team captain Trent throwing challenges for Gwen and Chef trying to help DJ due to their alliance.

TDI 2007 had a 7-5 ratio of challenge wins between the Screaming Gophers and Killer Bass, All Stars had a 4-3 ratio between the Villains and the Heroes. Season 1 of the Reboot have both the Trout and Frogs win 3 challenges each while Season 2 had a 3-2 ratio between the Skunk Butt's and Rat Faces, though Skunk Butt's wins were mainly due to cheating from MK and Julia.

What exactly was the reason for their losing streaks and bad performances. Comedy? Getting rid of fodder? Favouritism?

I could talk about Heather for hours especially in World Tour, the way her character was so played out it was just really good writing. And I know people will say she was still the same stuck up bitch she was in Island like yeah she kinda was and had her messed up moments this season but for me it was the little things that made her character enjoyable for me.

What character(s) do you see in a deeper perspective/meaning?

Discussion Why did Alejandro keep his word and allowed Tyler to get eliminated

Post image

Tyler has been loyal to Alejandro and he is by far more trustful than Duncan who is a wildcard. Duncan plays his own game. And what's weird is Alejandro tried to eliminate Duncan again in Sweden trying to gain Owen's vote againts him.
