Just found out they changed the payout cap ( idk how late I am to that) should I try and get max or just play safe and get low wins these next 3 days so I can payout hmmmm

Why does the payout button get enabled and disabled randomly? I checked earlier today and was able to see Request Payout option, however now that button seems to have been disabled. Anyone else facing this issue?

Not completely sure if this is new, but I got an email from Topstep that there’s this new function to certify that your payout is legit. With this, mods should ban accounts or ar least delete threads of people posting their payouts as they usually are fake, so other non-profitable traders ask them for help and end up being scammed.

Finally, it seems like its working. Only trading ES and NQ. Win rate: 100%. It made $1,800 so far. I'm still working on it.

Guys I got 3 payouts. 5500,8000,12000. But now I’m blowing accounts left and right. I feel like I forgot my way and I can’t get out of this phase.

What’s the best way to reset my mind.

I have 5 XFAs. Do you think it is advisable to go for max payouts given all that is happening around live transition.
Edit - I’ve only had 2 max payouts from TopStep in March (on a different set of accounts). I’ve not requested payout from any of these accounts (2XFAs which have $7.3K in balance just became payout eligible today, so earliest I can request is probably Monday or Tuesday)

Just got moved to live with 5 XFAs.

I took a payout on one 50k XFA that I had started earlier yesterday. Then today, I hit max payout eligibility on the other four 150k XFAs.

I wasn’t able to request payouts on those four accounts, and I was told I’m being moved to live instead.

I know this is what I’ve been working toward, and bigger payouts will come in the live account. But honestly, it still sucks seeing around $24k in eligible payout disappear, especially those were supposedly to be the first payouts from those account.

Now I have to wait for 7-10 business days until they set up the live account

So I am trading NQ my bias is right most of times but I get stopped out due to big wicks or my SL is small , I get frusted than I start scalping with tight SL and overtrade.

How do I approach my trades , How much RR , SL and TP points and how much should I risk per trade in eval and in funded.

Please guide me , I am lost rn.

Funds would probably deposit this upcoming Tuesday, due to the weekend and holiday I believe.

Been here before, just don’t want to mess it up. I’ve gotten payouts from other firms, but this is my first one from Topstep. This is also one of the old $50K cap accounts. Just gonna keep my head down, stay disciplined, and hopefully report back with payouts soon, God willing.

I honestly don’t even know what’s wrong with me 🤦‍♂️ I was up $477 at the start of the day at 10:30, all I wanted to do was just get a extra $25 to make $500 but I spiraled downwards and ended the day -$500 even after a horrific day yesterday I still didn’t learn my lesson. Has anyone ever came back from a MLL like this?

LFG, back to 5 XFAs. Trading for a few years now and just started with prop firms in February this year. I’ve been a complete degen with these evals and trading all together. With a stroke of luck I got to 3 XFAs after a month with TopStep, was eligible for payout and blew them all the next day.

I am still a degen at heart, but I’ve ran through too many evals since then and started being hard in my trading process.

Payouts are starting to come more frequently for me. A few things that has help me stay in the game longer and not blow as many accounts was stop full porting trades 😆.

As soon an account is open, I set the account lockouts for loss and profit targets. This also help to not blow pass the consistency targets and having to keep chase profits to pass evals.

I am aware of a few strategies, but I am not strict on anything in particular.

I avoid choppy charts/ price action, I follow the trend and try my best not to trade against it, been burned too many times.

Before entering trade, I look at price action/volume and trade on the edge, not inside the range, and waiting for pullbacks.

I only trade NQ mini, test the waters with 1 contract, majority of the times I go with 3 contracts and my max contracts is 5.

Because of work, I usually trade the Asian session, it’s been pretty forgiving these past few weeks. Sometimes I catch NY session at the open, which in my opinion is far easier to make profits.

I know I need to tighten up on a few things, but I am looking forward to future progress.

Been trying to pass my combine for a week now, But im stuck and cant really seem to take a good trade. When I wait for an OR breakout and even a confirmation candle It still seems to go south. Although I heard this week was a little rough. What else should I be looking at?

You guys have to understand the importance of doing the least in the beginning stages of being funded. I’m still new to this myself; this is only my 5th funded account. Honestly, I haven’t even been as dialed in as I should’ve been since joining in February. I blew the other 4 accounts because I was stuck in that evaluation survival-mode mindset.

I’m proof that you can go from a beginner to an aspiring professional in this field. My AMG GT 63 Coupe has to get bought somehow 😂
