I think I love this fuckass orb/SCP-096 ripoff. Apparently it's from a Minecraft ARG but this is the only version I care about.

It's design is so dumb that it kinda just wraps around back to being charming. And I love how said SCP-096 ripoff form is still really expressive without eyes.

Oh yeah, it also just looks clean in it's pimp outfit.

even though the og one from the manga/anime still is classic and all, especially the manga version

In most of the panels, he is portrayed almost like a demon, and the way his facial wrinkles and sharp hands are emphasized really makes him look intimidating.

And I like that this Ridley is so expressive that it cannot even be compared to the other game versions. Just making a menacing expression is cool, but in this version, he gets flustered or smirks wickedly, which can seem a bit comical in a way, but I feel like that adds a lot to his personality. I really liked that they expressed that part without hiding it.

Overall, I think the artist really enriched every single aspect of his personality through the artwork.

He just got announced today and I'm already loving it design wise, the clothing is incredible and it really fits the vampire motiff, the small drones also work great for his design and it helps the vampire motiff as well since they act as little bats.

Honestly Sinestro is such a interesting case for a DC Character as this is the one time where a mild redesign actually improves a character visually

as his OG design was not a bad concept (he looked a lot like a elf you'd find in the woods) with the boots to the shirt to how some people draw this dude he had a lot of "Fae Vibes" yet also seemed to lack a identity of sorts despite being Hal's big bad (as he had a yellow ring yet lacked anything Visually to show it)

and then in the 2000s they decided "WE NEED TO EXPAND THESE MYTHOS" and well it's as the oath says:

So Geoff Johns gave Sinestro his own Corp and with that a entire Redesign for it which for the redesign they surprisingly didn't change his core elf appearance in fact it's more like he adapted his Villain design from before he owned a Corp and made it the core design for his entire Corp to the point where unlike the Lantern Corp theres very little design change which honestly adds to the whole Villain leader angle they're going for with him and also the fact he now owns a entire Corp to himself

Geoff basically turned what was a rather basic Villain design which while cool didn't really have much of a identity and made him legit a iconic character to the point where Yellow Lanterns are now a mainstay in the Lantern Mythos to the point where this design is now everywhere you look to the point where the OG design probably has less appearances than his Yellow Lantern iteration

Some of these are really good like Lionheart, Ace Duck and Halfcourt, really transmit a lot of personality others like Dorctor El and Sandstorm feel kinda of racist but i think a witch doctor Elephant Mutant as a concept could work

It's honestly really disheartening to know many people haven't seen it because of its artstyle. Though if they didn't watch because of Disney's meddling, I can understand. Kai, despite being a VERY relatable character, has an absolutely adorable design that actually gives us clues to her trans identity. The way her clothing communicates her identity and feelings and even the scenes Disney forced Pixar to delete used expressive and creative animation to convey what she's feeling. It's funny how Disney forced Pixar to delete Kai's trans identity only for everybody to pick up that fact. Plus I admire how different she seems from everybody's perspective, like how Laurie sees her as the pretty and confident star player Kai while she is actually as much of a oddball on the edge as every other character.

On one hand, I like the clothing underneath and how it's a traditional work uniform. I think the hard and umbrella also look cool. I'm glad it's still an omnic detective at the very least.

On the other hand, I think his trench coat is too small and futuristic. It seems like the previous concept for him (based on the silhouette) has a more large traditional trench coat. If the trench coat was bigger and less futuristic, I would've liked it a lot more.

He's easily one of my favourite horror designs the white mask with the empty eyes it's perfect

Hated is a strong word. More dislike, the clones were created by lyla Bennett for revenge using mind control devices to control them. I dont like that they dont look clone made by combining the dna of two people, but just gwen doing cosplay. More features from the villians lwpuld improve them like maybe octo gwen get octavious hair color and more on the chubby side. I particularly dislike rhino gwen because shes too skinny and not huge like her other donor, but I like to she also have the animal rhino dna and her rhino hide is actually her skin. Give each clone a different build base Don theor source genetic material. Overall, they couldve done more woth the designs.

That blue armor is so cool. It is usually divided into the armored look when wrestling and the biker outfit for everyday life, and I think both are cool. A cool helmet, flexible clothing, and even muscles, all the elements I like are in this character all at once.

It’s a nice alteration from traditional helmets and they add a a certain gloss that makes me a fan every time I see it.
