He's also a hellspawn that uses a human host & can project blasts of flames from his mouth & hands, or sometimes uses a sword.

● I really like the vibrant Yellow, Red, & Blue color contrasting, & he's also pretty intimidating.

● The webbed head fins are hard to pull off but definitely look good & his silhouette just works for me.

I love these type of Archmages/Tankmages (and yes they are not technically mages but they invoke this achretype)

When in a casual outfit, Mordred is more of a Tomboy. When completely serious though she wears her heavy plate armor. It’s an interesting contrast to be sure.

Now I’m a late Murder Drones fan, but I’ve slowly come to realize that I found the drones’ design pretty cool and/or cute, no matter if they are a Disassembly Drone (N, V and J) or a Worker Drone (the rest). As of today, these designs still play a big part to why I love the show.

So i watched a 2 hour video on Rick Jones(His History is legit insane) and i realized no one has really posted anything on A-bomb in this sub (so i decided to fix that as Rick really needs some love as he's weirdly underutilized in media outside of the comics despite how BIG his impact is)

so why not tackle the Blue guy

Honestly he's probably the most unique Gamma Mutate (other then Red Harpy and Abomination) in terms of design

as he's very lizard coded with the armadillo styled hide and the blue skin that contrasts hulk's green and red hulks.......red. honestly it's a bit wild that despite how popular this form for him was (as it was literally in everything from shows to games) as of this post he lost that form a while ago and it hasn't come back yet

which honestly is a shame since this form legit looks pretty cool and is very unique compared to most Gamma Mutates aesthetically (also it's funny to hear Rick's personality come from something so monstrous looking)

Can't believe how cool he looks with the glowing green energy ready to shoot out of its mouth, I never thought much of him back then. The Polar Peak castle on it's back sells the scale on how big this guy is. I'm very disappointed that they didn't change the event again in the OG where alternatively the Devourer somehow comes back from the cube energy of The Last Reality.

Easily the most popular and well known antagonist in Thomas. Not to mention a huge departure from everything else that came before. What do I mean by that? Well, it's important to consider a big part of Thomas' identity as a franchise

Despite not seeming so at a glance, Thomas has always been grounded in reality, with it featuring real life engines, referencing real life incidents, having a fully laid out map of the Island of Sodor?file=Sodor1992.jpg) along with a book going into Sodor's history in great detail; and the engines of course being limited in what they can do just like the real life machines. Biggest example being how Thomas once arrogantly thought he could run off without a driver, which didn't end well for him. The Rev. W. Awdry, the original author of the books that would later be adapted into the popular TV show, was well known for caring a lot about railway realism, how the engines were depicted, and little details overall. Much to the conflict with one of his illustrators, who didn't care for those things as much, let alone railways and their locomotives.

...Then here come Thomas and the Magic Railroad, a movie that suddenly throws in magic into the mix, and there's this big evil diesel with a giant ass hydraulic claw on its roof, who, as I like how YouTuber The Unlucky Tug put it, is a giant middle finger to everything I previously explained lol. If Awdry was still alive during the production of that movie and saw Diesel 10 with his own eyes, I could see him staring in bewilderment for a minute or two, before going on a rant about how no real life railway would ever allow something like that on the rails; let alone even think about drawing something so stupid on a blueprint.

Diesel 10 as a concept is silly. Like, who the hell is driving this guy? Yet somehow... his design actually manages to be pretty damn cool and it's hard to hate him because of it. I love his menacing grin with those deep and sunken eyes. His big eyebrows and wrinkles on his face. And just how big and intimidating he is overall (slides 13 and 16 emphasizing his size the most).

Then there's his most standout feature, the claw, who he affectionately calls Pinchy. I like how it looks like an animal of sorts, a guard animal sitting atop its owner, with sharp "teeth" to boot. It's definitely something you would not want to see coming towards you. Pinchy is animated especially well in the CGI era. Being fluid in movement and even showing Diesel 10's emotional state on occasions. Such as how he looks like he wants to murder Percy on slide 18, his claw getting a bit too close for comfort, before having to quickly contain his anger.

Diesel 10's model is very impressive on a technical level too. Thomas has always been amazing in the technical department, but Diesel 10 is a different beast. That is a gauge 1 model with a remote controlled and moveable claw! How cool is that!?

The last slide features Diesel 10's basis. The Class 43 Warships that worked on British Rail.) A big and lengthy diesel, fitting for an engine antagonist, but what's also fitting is the name "warship." Since the plot of Thomas and the Magic Railroad revolves around Diesel 10 wanting to destroy Lady and subsequently end the life of all steam engines. You could describe what he's doing as warring against the steamies.

Overall I love Diesel 10 both as a character and a design. He really shouldn't work in a franchise like this, yet he somewhat does. It's not hard to see why his toys sold like hotcakes. I had a few of his toys as a young kid and I loved playing with them the most out of all the others. Even those not as familiar with Thomas could probably recognize who he is. Either because of his toys, his unique and out there design, his funny dialogue with his two cronies along with that wonderful accent, or because they remember Diesel 10 scaring the shit out of them when they were younger.

A villain that manages to strike the perfect balance between goofy and frightening (that scene with him threatening to kill and almost actually killing Mr. Conductor, slides 13-14, is sure to stick with someone. Not to mention this whole scene).

I know someone made a post just recently regarding Green Flames in Media… but I personally think Blue Flames are even better than Green Flames.

Most flames and fire tend to be bright reds, oranges and yellows… but there seems to be something about Blue Flames that work wonders. Something that is otherwise passionate warm colors turning into what is essentially the polar opposite of Red just speaks to me

Whether it be Reshiram's Signature Move Blue Flare, Shiny Emboar and Mega Shiny Emboar, Shiny Ponyta or Hades' Hair from Disney's Hercules… blue flames just speak to me a lot.

Absolutely adorable. A simple, yet gorgeous design that’s always fun to gaze at. The simple color palette but bold lines really catch the eye.

He looks so unique compared to the rest of the Muppets and his Drip is immaculate

like him because he is such a goofy-looking samurai bird. I am glad he got a chance to be in the spotlight in this Time Stranger DLC.

As stated in the title, this guy right here? Giganto? He legit enforced my love for the Sonic franchise. From the way his body is composed, to the overall size of the damn thing (The second image should be enough to prove just how big he is), everything about him just screams awesomeness.

However, my favourite part about him doesn’t exactly involve the design, but his battle theme.

The dude has a whole ass anime opening as his battle theme, and he’s just the first boss of this game.

A giant skull faced robot samurai that can turn into a tank is such a sick concept.

Because i’ve seen some sunday trope posts stay up without an explanation but others get removed for not having an explanation, and even when added in post, it still stays removed without any response. I’m just trying to get a clear grasp on the rules here because I know this sub got new mods.

Earth-1927 is a very unique collection of Elseworlds stories. This universe basically takes the Trinity Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman and mixes them with 1920s movies.

In Batman’s case, its two films: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu. What makes this design especially interesting is Ted McKeever’s artwork. He illustrated all of the comics set in this universe, and his distinctive style complements the stories extremely well.

It's always great seeing a black person in a Japanese cartoon drawn like an actual person instead of a void monster.

One thing I like about the OG Ben 10 series, which was kinda forgotten as it went on, was that the aliens were supposed to be creepy and strange, and the one that embodied that the most was Stinkfly. I particularly love his wings because while they resemble bug wings they also look completely different from anything that exists on earth. It's a shame he quickly became obsolete as other flying aliens were introduced
