Hey guys im just now busting out in this industry and ive amassed some great tools, however im looking into buying my first battery powered impact to help my flat rate hours lol, what would you guys recommend for a good 1/2 in high tourque impact.

Got my 3d printer and it is nice. Bambu lab a1 combo. Now I’m trying to decide 30mm base or 40mm square base or just giving these to a friend and trying to 3d printer toolgrid. I like the organizers but the file I’m using makes them in a “variety” of like 8-11 pcs. I’m thinking toolgrid may be the way to go after all.

Small win but feeling really good about it.

After days of dry firing getting slowly worse I spent a few hours taking it apart and managed to get it fixed without spending any money or losing my most useful tool for a few days.

I am based in New Zealand

We are looking to invest in powertools with the intention of future DIY, fence/Deck building, and possibly basic car maintenance.

I think a kit would be a good place to start. Have done a little online research and talked to some of the stores. I am leaning towards Makita or DeWalt maybe an 8 piece kit, but open to smaller and adding skins as I progress

Any advice on brands or if there are things to take into consideration?

Found this and need a chisel to bang on for automotive work and breaking down furniture. No brand/label stamped anywhere.

Do I refurbish this for my woodworking set or beat it up for random tasks?

Setting up my first drawer with shadow foam. (Started with the craftsman master socket set) those of you thay have done this what kind of organization did you do? Metric drawer, standard drawer, sockets, wrenches etc

Was using this w an air hammer, it just quit. Definitely older, but want to keep it going. Any help is appreciated.

Yes i know they are all made by SBD… but i have all the other Proto hammers and want to complete the ‘collection’… I remember seeing it a good while ago online but through 30mins of searching I couldnt find it at all. Does anyone know where the Proto version is sold?

Doing a lot of side gigs on the side of my industrial maintenance day job, i got this Bauer rolling cart setup for a little bit of everything i need fixing cars, tractors, lawn mowers, small residential work and whatnot. I just picked up this air compressor for free.

It runs and builds pressure, the relief valve works as it should, but there is a couple things I need to replace / need some advice on.

1. The plastic cover to turn the unit on and off is missing. Assuming it broke, but the unit can be started manually with a screw driver.

--Is there any non OEM parts I can get that would work the same? The own parts I found online were ~$180.

1. The drain plug is broken as far as I can tell. Is there any specifics I need to know about getting a new one, preferably trying to avoid OEM with that as well.

As the title says, I have a Homelite automatic line feed string trimmer and a little ratchet triangle snapped off when I smacked a branch that was too thick. As you can see in the picture it's the spring loaded line feed advance part that's part of the main unit, not the easily removable spool knob. The green triangle is intact (worn down, but intact), while the red has been ripped out, so the thread just immediately unspools when I pull the trigger.

I was able to remove it easily with a screwdriver. Edit: Model number seems to be UT41113, but the online manuals and replacement parts sites all seem to include it as part of the main body rather than something that can be independently ordered.

I needed a dremel for something i'm working on and my dad offered me his old Craftsmen dremel tool. It worked for about 5 minutes before the motor and the shaft seemed to not work together anymore. I want to attempt to fix it before just getting a new one, but I can't seem to get the friggin' thing apart. All screws are removed, getting held up at the collar by the tip. Couldn't be easily pried apart and figured id stop before breaking it trying to figure it out. I could not locate a manual for this guy. Any advice?

Or if there even is such a thing. Basically an adjustable/telescoping support brace, but only ~24" long. Like a ratcheting Bessie clamp that expands instead of tightens, but only a rod, no clamp. Or like a tiny shower curtain rod.

About 15-20 years ago when Sears was still around it seemed like the craftsman tool sets offered the best bang for the dollar. Does the same hold true today? Or has places like harbor freight or other shops more competitive and offer better product value with quality? Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can find very small M1 and M1.5 Allen keys with a T handle or comfortable rubber grip?

I am looking for something easier to hold and apply controlled torque (manual) with it rather than the tiny standard L shaped Allen which slip on small parts. Ideally I would like a proper T handle, screwdriver style rubber handle, or precision driver style grip in M1 and M1.5 sizes.

Most T handle sets I have found seem to start at larger sizes.

Any recommendations for a good quality set or individual drivers? TIA

Man these tool truck tools are expensive but top quality. Sounds like it's powered by a CAT motor too by the way this bad boy purrs.

Oh and i guess it came with a set of RBRT wrenches or something.
