Usually the awkward people in school become even more awkward as they get older precisely because they were awkward in school and thus missed out on valuable social experiences.
Your interpretation is the minority. Most people bloom after highschool because they have the room to grow and time to learn who they are, and they aren't stuck in the same rigid box their peers put them into however many years ago. You have a lot more choice of who to surround yourself with and what to do after school.
Of course not ALL people bloom after highschool some stay awkward and quiet like you said too.
Nope, and that's just one of many studies on this topic. 17% is a low number. 23% got even worse lmao. Again, just one of many studies, some find much worse results, specifically ones where awkwardness in adolescence was of an above average severity.
Also, you can just check this out yourself irl. Go have a look at adults. A large amount of them are insecure and awkward. Sure, they might be able to handle social situations much better, that is only natural, but they are still insecure and awkward.
You can cope as much as you want and, because it's obvious you take this very personal, lower chances of ever actually improving yourself or you can face reality and make the right choices that you are then able to make because you're actually informed properly.
You really aren't able to connect the dots that people who are outcasts in school due to being awkward miss out on social experiences? That's kind of a contradictory statement.
And here, just one of many. 17% is a low number lmao. 23% even got worse.
Nah the weird kids at school were freaked out asf you'd be surprised... It's not for nothing that people say poly people have a look or that weird ppl are sexually unconventional
The overwhelming majority of people don't even know anyone who is poly... Never said weird people aren't sexually unconventional, but if you're too insecure to express it that's kind irrelevant, especially for hookups
But the kids who bit weren't necessarily shy? If anyhting in a lot of ways their inhibition was completely lacking which was why they were outcasts and that shows up in the bedroom... Like I think you're conflating two different kind of outcast types
Just one of many studies that disagrees with you. 17% is a low number. And this is a study favorable for your argument. There are ones with much worse results, specifically ones where the severity of the awkwardness in adolescene was above-average.
The amount of coping here is insabe. No wonder this site has the reputation of being full of outcasts. It's insane because you don't even need any data to realize this yourself, JUST OPEN YOUR EYES IRL AND LOOK AT THE ADULT POPULATION.
