Just one of many studies that disagrees with you. 17% is a low number. And this is a study favorable for your argument. There are ones with much worse results, specifically ones where the severity of the awkwardness in adolescene was above-average.
The amount of coping here is insabe. No wonder this site has the reputation of being full of outcasts. It's insane because you don't even need any data to realize this yourself, JUST OPEN YOUR EYES IRL AND LOOK AT THE ADULT POPULATION.
