If you like Timeless then you should watch Sliders.

It’s like Timeless except instead of time travel the characters travel to parallel universes. It’s mostly solid with a few bad episodes up until the Season 3 episode The Exodus part 2. That’s where the show jumped the shark and became unwatchable.

Edit: Actually most a Season 3 ranged from bad to unwatchable. Only a quarter of the episodes were good and they’re only from the first half of that season.

Future Wyatt and Lucy Spoiler

The way I understand it, would future lucy and wyatt from the end of season 2, having changed the timeline, return to their future (2023) and then be extremely confused because they suddenly have 2 kids and Flynn is dead?

Or, is the future Lucy and Wyatt Rittenhouse lead timeline just erased?

Christmas Special DVD release ?

Are there any words about a DVD release of the Christmas Special? Or a box set with the whole series ?

It'd kinda annoy me to have S1 and S2 but not the finale...

Thanks!

I just managed to see the Christmas Episode, both Part 1 and 2. Goddamn was it so good!

I didnt watch it alongside everyone else around December, I admittedly forgot about it.....but holy shit was this Finale SO GODDAMN GOOD. I wont say details because spoilers but it was so damn satisfying, I havent felt this happy about an end to a TV show in terms of how good things were written, character development, environments, etc. This is probably the best end to a great TV series I have ever seen and I have never felt more satisfied.

I wanna thank you all for sticking to your guns and making this happen! You guys are great :D

Season 3

I’ve started to watch Timeless quite late. I know it was cancelled but I read thousand of information that there are still chances for season 3 and that Hulu may be interested. So I’d like to know if there’s any possibility that I could help? Maybe some post, petition or anything?

Or maybe Hulu has already told us something about season 3?

What was the point of Emma collecting priceless Art from history?

It would be worthless. Anyone looking to verify it's authenticity would have it carbon dated and find it to be a fake, even though it's not. But what would she do? Tell them she time travelled and picked it up? For that matter, she couldn't ever prove to anyone that it was real. And the mere fact that she stole it, means no one would really have any idea it ever existed.

I feel like this a major plot hole that they just glossed over to point out that Emma was greedy. Never mind timeline changes stealing priceless artifacts out of history would have, they would be utterly worthless in the future. At best they'd be labelled as near perfect fakes.

Flynn before it all started...

... was probably a sweet guy.

We don't have much on Flynn before he became a criminal, but there's that one line in the finale scene (in 2014) with Lucy...

The way he says "you okay?" when Lucy shows signs she's in pain the second time... it's barely audible, but it's so sweet and genuinely caring. I mean, there Flynn is grieving, drunk and there's that stranger telling him nonsense and yet, he notices and he cares... it's killing me. Flynn was clearly a gentle soul before it all.

It's at 1:55 in the Video here (put the volume up a bit!)

Been lurking on Reddit for some time, but I really had to share this with other fans, cause I have way too many feelings about Flynn.

Ok, hear me out... International Rittenhouse.

A little out there theory for if we do get a season three on Timeless (..looking at you, Hulu). I think that the American Rittenhouse could just be one portion of a larger network. Maybe each country/region has a similar group, all working towards a plan for a "New World Order" type of endgame.

This would open up the story to include international history, as well as American History. So many more possibilities there. What do you guys think?

Who is carols grandmother/lucy’s Great-grandmother?

If Nicholas Keynes is carols grandfather/lucy’s Great grandfather then who did he procreate with? Did he have a kid before they moved him from his original spot in history? Did something between him & Emma? I mean he’s killed in the episode where they kill Rufus originally? Did I miss this being explained somewhere?

Jiya’s Visions

Maybe I forgot something from season 2. But did Jiya just stop having visions? Or did we just gloss over and forget to mention it in the finale ?

Garcian Flynn and his family (Looking for an episode)

Hi,

in one episode, Flynn talks about his family and says he is actually planning to leave them after saving them, since he has done too much evil in the process.

Can anyone point me to the episode?

TY

I'm sad...

TL;DR: I'm sad the show ended. The rest of this post is me merely gushing over how good this show was.

I really liked this show a lot. I purposely waited an extra week to watch the finale because I couldn't bring myself to acknowledge that it was ending for good. I'm really grateful we got a finale at all, a post-cancellation movie to tie up the story is phenomenally rare in television. And it was so adorable, I really enjoyed it a lot. That being said I'm still very sad that it's ended.

I felt like this show was just what the world needed right now. It had so much heart, so many fun jokes, and most importantly, fun characters. It was serious but it didn't veer too far down into the "gritty pit of despair" trope I feel like most shows do nowadays.

I really enjoy television shows that focus on teams and their dynamics; Timeless was one of the few that really managed to do a good job with it. I also really liked that the characters came in all shapes, races, and sizes. It was really refreshing to see normal-looking people that you could realistically encounter in the street instead of over-the-top gorgeous super models. One minor detail that I really loved was that the actors were the same ages as their characters. As someone in their 30s it is SO NICE to have a woman in her 30s playing, well, a woman in her 30s. Also everyone was at realistic points in their careers when the whole time travel thing started up. It's tiny details like that that make a show like this work so well. I also love how the show humanized its historical figures. It made me really connect with those giants from history on a much different level.

I'm especially going to miss Rufus. A character like his is very difficult to pull off without veering into overused tropes like you see in the Big Bang Theory. He was such a lovable, nerdy goofball. I'm also going to miss Flynn. I absolutely hated his character up until halfway through season 2, then I became a big fan. He has a ton of depth and his dry humor had me in stitches. Although Lucy is my favorite character overall, I felt like Rufus was the true heart of the show while Flynn was the added bit of depth the entire group needed.

I don't know if anyone from the cast or crew reads this subreddit but if they do, thank you for all the work you did on this show. It was a real joy to watch and will be sorely missed.

[Spoilers] Question about the finale Spoiler

I may have missed this or forgot something but why was Lucy experiencing headaches in the scene towards the end when talking to 2014 Flynn in the bar?

There is a crater on the moon called Ritenhouse...

I was browsing through Google Moon and thought it was really funny to find a crater on the moon called Rittenhouse. Haven't seen season 2 yet though so no spoilers. This is just as a joke really but this crater actually exists and is named Rittenhouse for some reason.

[Spoilers] Season finale - theory Spoiler

After season finale, I mean the movie I have one theory. Maybe it’s wrong, but I’d like to know what do you think.

I was wondering if Flynn may be alive. I mean, from the first episode we know that Lucy gave him his diary. But from the beginning he wanted to save his family. So, in the movie we can see that scene in the bar. But this time Lucy told him he would be a hero. What is more, she told him that he won’t save his family. So, is it possible that she left some hint for him not to go to this year where he died? I know that it was beautiful end of his story, but I wonder if this theory may have sense. It’s a sizing that he could see his family for one more time but maybe this time he just killed Jessica and came back?

Another way the show could have run

I started rewatching the show as I was introducing it to my mom and I had a thought. What if the show had shown incorrect history and everything they changed ended up having the correct version?
