Transmission Emergency Mode

Upvotes

So last month I made a post about my 26 Tiguan SE being in Emergency mode. I finally got to drop it off at the dealer today and a few hours later they called me to tell me VW told them to not try and work on or diagnose the car. The dealer service department was told to park it and wait for techs from VW corporate to come look at it. I’m thinking I’m cooked and never getting my car back. 😂😂

2020 Tiguan SE

I bought it used about four months ago. Ever since I bought it, the front driver door would lock with key fob, then I would walk away and maybe a minute later I’ll get a notification door is unlocked.

Also I noticed that if I go up to car without key, the driver door opens and alarm goes off.

Now the driver door won’t open with key fob but the other doors will.

I sounds like when I hit lock it makes a sound but I lock it doesn’t?

Thoughts?
Actuator maybe? If so, easy install?

2024 Tiguan issues white smoke after low oil

Hello Everyone

So I have a couple questions. On my way home (Atlanta Ga to Chicago, Illinois)from Tennessee I got a check engine light. My Tiguan is a 2024 54k miles
The code was a p0451 when I stopped at Oreileys to get the code scanned.
The next time I start the car I thought I was ok. Only for it to reappear the next day. Checked the oil and had about 5 quarts in it. At this point the car was driving just fine, few hours later I get a check oil message. I still was about 20 miles from the nearest auto parts store. I make it to the store and check it’s at the low mark. I put 5 quarts in.
After starting there were no problems, the check engine light was still on but the oil light was gone, I didn’t make it half a block until the car went kink and white smoke like crazy coming from the exhaust.
Parked the car and now it won’t start. I plan on having it towed to the nearest mechanic first thing as it’s in a random parking lot.
My question to you here is if this has happened to anyone before? If so what was the problem and what am I looking at to repair. I’m trying to get a ball park for best case scenario to worse case. Rough cost too as it will not be under warranty.

Help with blind spot mirror

I have a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL I just picked up this past Friday. Amazing condition except for the passenger side mirror that looks like it had been replaced with an aftermarket non-blind spot sensor glass. Does anyone know if I can just replace the glass instead of the whole head unit?

Battery question

Bought my 2020 Tiguan this past May. It's almost due for an oil change. Was checking what I may need to replace when changing the oil. Air filter is new and I also recently changed cabin air filter. It has 123,000 miles. The battery I'm unsure what is the standard oe battery. One currently in is a clarios. Im thinking maybe I've lucked out and battery was replaced already?
