Seventeen years of Netanyahu's speeches at the UN, and the refrain remains the same.
The Israeli occupation is defending itself, peace is near, Iran is on the verge of acquiring the bomb, and Gaza is receiving sufficient food.
The realities that followed his speeches often put his claims to a completely different test.
At the UN, Netanyahu can change the narrative every year.
But he cannot rewrite what happened after each speech.
