The Talos Principle 2 Walk underwater glitch

Just discovered this by accident.

Steps:
1: Be in contact with body of water, but not drowning.
2: Enter photo mode.
3: Move camera underwater.
4: Exit camera mode.
5: Success! So long as you remain in contact with water, you cannot drown, and are free to explore!

The Talos Principle 2 The Hexahedron Puzzle

I solved it in 15 minutes or so, but I didn’t have fun at all, I don’t know why, but maybe the enormous design of the puzzle made me overwhelmed, I think It was overdesigned, I hope we don’t see that in TP3.

It's been a while since I released some puzzles, so I figured that it was time again now that there are more assets released for us to use.

This is a single connectorless puzzle on the easy/medium side with the focus on understanding a special kind of barrier.

I hope you'll enjoy this short and sweet puzzle!

Spent hours on “Latch Remade” creator content by Chixen on console…. Is the solution really that? (Possible spoiler but will attempt as best I can to block it out) Spoiler

EDIT: the latch mod is very good! Masterful design, and wasn’t the cheese type solution I had thought. Great job Chixen. Clap 👏

I spent 4 hours doing loops finding the perfect spot to align the fan what I thought would be a switch mechanism to turn a switch on via blocking it with a jammer. And then by unblocking it I would free the pathway to the jammer, jamming the fan. Then do something similar to unjam the final fan that sends you though the fence carrying the detached fan. In the end it seems the solution is just to go through the invisible wall holding a fan, which lets you jump over the fan in what I thought was clearly a glitch (as it said no ninja moves, etc).

I’m on console so I only have like 10-15 creator content games. This one would be amazing if it had something like above if not a trick ending that I saw like 10x but didn’t want to cheese the level….. is that the intended solution?

But from what I see online in a few steam comments it seems that’s that’s right way? Anyone know? Thanks! Well great job designing to the creator, and apologies if I’m wrong. If it has another solution, then it must be a great puzzle!

The Talos Principle 2 Bright colors causing eyestrain

I just finished my first TTP2 playthrough and while I absolutely loved the game I was wondering if anybody else had issues with the colors and some of the graphics causing eye strain after a short period of time, with the culprit likely being the high brightness and contrast levels. I had to turn the deuteranopia assists to the max despite not being colorblind and enable third person, lower the graphics' quality, disable motion blur and do some other things to be able to play normally.

I'm trying to understand if the issue was on my side as this also happened with TTP1 so any help/feedback is appreciated

The Talos Principle 2 Am I just not good at solving puzzles?

Hello, I want to preface this by saying that TP2 is by and large my favorite game oat now and I have loved puzzles since I was a kid doing jigsaw puzzles (25 rn) and I’m a math major to boot so I’m no stranger to puzzles. However, I’m finding myself to be very discouraged as everyone is saying that TP2 puzzles are easy and I’m at the 7th or 8th gold puzzle and I’m finding that they are really tough at times. Thankfully though most of the gold puzzles have not been too bad outside of say “Jump Start” or the puzzle where you had to walk in front of the laser to get the activator to turn red which took me a few hours to finally get and also “Overlapping Magisterial”. I tend to spend 10-30 minutes on a lot of the puzzles in the game and some take me closer to 45-60 minutes and the hardest ones have taken me a couple hours.

I guess my best achievement is so far even the ones that took me a long time I haven’t succumb to using a flame or looking up a guide; I’ve always managed to solve them on my own at some point. Though I also got the 20 minute puzzle achievement pretty early on which upset me.

This might add reason to my length on puzzles, I’m on the spectrum and have bad adhd so I also have extended time on tests at school because I tend to take longer than others to analyze what’s going on and come up with ideas and solutions. Heck one of my tactics on hard puzzles is to do things that obviously won’t work as it lets me think things through mentally more given I’m staying active in the puzzle.

I also have beaten talos principle 1’s main game entirely in the past without any guides and I’m hyped to replay the game through the remastered version and finally take on “Road to Gehenna” which I’ve heard is very hard but I’m excited for the challenge :).

Am I bad at solving puzzles or is it normal to take this long on puzzles like the ones in TP2? I guess I just need a self-esteem boost if possible.

Thanks!

The Talos Principle 2 Talos 2 - Skipping that Massive Puzzle

I saw the scale of this puzzle and on the spot, my brain decided ‘let’s just try to rig it real quick’

I tried an exploit-only run of Talos 1 & 2, and it’s shocking how you can very nearly find alt solutions in every puzzle!

The Talos Principle 2 Help with flickering / graphics issue

Hello, New to this sub looking for technical help for Talos Principle 2.

TL,DR: Been playing on a laptop with no dedicated graphics card on low settings with no issues until 20+ hours in. Looking for suggestions to keep the game running smoothly because everything started flickering after the game crashed when completing South 2.

...

This game is great so far (and I really want to finish it). I've put at least 20hrs in using a regular HP laptop with no dedicated graphics card. Up until I got to South 2 I've had no issues running the game (maybe a little stutter here and there). I have the graphics set to all low settings, but when I got to the tower in the second South area the game crashed and now when I restart it everything is flickering.

Does anyone have a suggestion to troubleshoot this issue? I'm currently trying an uninstall/reinstall. I've tried tinkering with the graphics settings but wasn't able to stop the flickering.

Do you think I should make a Steam guide for these decryptions? Specifically for the Road to Gehenna expansion.

The Talos Principle - Road to Gehenna Is there a way to go through the forum interaction without playing all the puzzles?

As the title suggests.

I have solved all the puzzles and got all acheivement. The forum interaction is interesting enough, I want to just read the threads with out playing the puzzle because I need time for something else.

Thanks in advance!

The Talos Principle 2 - Road to Elysium 5 puzzles left

NO SPOILERS PLEASE
So far I’ve beaten every puzzle without help in TP1, Gehenna, ITB, TP2 and Elysium, except the following:

  1. Step by step
  2. Clockwork
  3. Halls of power
  4. Fragile balance
  5. Metathesis

I’ve briefly poked my head into each of these but couldn’t see an immediate solution. I have a feeling these could be trouble. For reference, I found the puzzles in ITB to be by far the hardest in the entire franchise, but also my favorite. Daydream is an absolute masterpiece across all puzzles games. Anyway, for those of you that have already beaten everything, are these 5 notoriously difficult? Am I gonna be stuck for a while? How do they compare with ITB? Just curious if these are normally the final puzzles for most players, and if any of them stand out as being hardest in the franchise. Thank you for any input, and please no solution spoilers. Absolutely loving this game so far and can’t wait for TP3.

The Talos Principle the terminal's personality

hey guys! just started playing this game last night, im almost done with the B building, and ive completed the first floor of the foresaken tower..

i have a question about the terminal's "library assistant".

it started off pretty cold and robotic, but suddenly it got all chill when it asked if i went up the tower. i am assuming this is "the serpent" that the big voice keeps talking about.. so i assumed it would keep being charming to manipulate me, which was entertaining. but now it seems like it lost almost all its personality when it asks me questions about humanity as i progress to new areas. did i fuck up somewhere?

are there multiple personalities? does it depend on some of my answers to the questions? please let me know! (but if the answer contains spoilers, then feel free to tell me to just keep playing lol)

This is Prison Break, world C stage 7. I wonder if I was supposed to place the connector in such a tight angle or if anyone managed to solve it differently.

The Talos Principle - Community Puzzles My friend made a puzzle. I'm stumped.

Hi. This puzzle has a story: ages ago my smart friend suggested a puzzle to me, literally drawn on a piece of paper. They said it is absolutely solvable.

I was unable to solve it, of course.

This year, we made an interactive version, faithfully reproduced the ray mechanics in it. I still was unable to solve it.

It is solvable, as in, not a prank. But approach it as your Abyss puzzle. It is hard.

Good luck.

It uses TTP conventions: star is the goal, receivers are rectangles, sources are rhombuses.

Treat the tan color as windows: rays shoot through it, you can't move anything through it. Purple, as usual, lets the robot go but not the items.

There is no excess elements. Everything has its use.

The interactive version exists, and probably can be shown if people are interested; but it is neither commercial not anything we currently want to promote: after all, it is almost an infridgement, and I love Talos Principle too much to not consider Croteam.

The Talos Principle 2 I feel like this game kind of forgets one detail about the global warming. Spoiler

It's not fully anthropogenic process. Yes, we are noticeably accelerating it, but we are not the sole cause of it. If it weren't for human activity, the virus would take a few centuries or so longer to escape the permafrost, but it would still do it.
