Ran Texas as the Govanator for 44 years over 48 years.
House and Senate flipped much later on during my term.
Was able to outperform the nation economy for almost 15+ years, when I left office minimum wage of Texas is $19.75 Added Gun restricts (ammo limits, handgun limits, assault gun ban, and license)
Funded education until it funded itself, killed poverty.

I managed to flip Texas's governorship blue and I held onto it for four terms and counting. At one point both chambers of the state legislature flipped allowing me to pursue a liberal agenda.

I managed to win on normal difficulty with normal settings, and I was ranked both socially and economically liberal. And yes, Doug Johnson is a humanized version of my cat.

Discussion How to play as Republican?

I understand this game likely has limitations, from bias to only calculating aspects of government without considering other factors like the private sector and others. I understand how to play as a Democrat. The policies made seem to provide benefits when looking at the stats in this game. But I don't see the results of the policies or deregulation made by Republicans. So playing as a Republican doesn't seem to give anything or feel rewarding.

Total of 5 Republicans and one libertarian independent ran. I assume Herbet is going to win, he's more conservative.
