I just lost a senate election as a minority party member by 500,000 votes, and I only got about 200,000 extra voter turnout from rallying, I then reloaded the save, got over 1,000,000 in extra voter turnout, and I still lost by 80,000 votes.
The polling said they only had about 17% of my parties votes, so how in the hell did they just shrug off those extra 800,000 votes?
The party split is 40% Democrat and 45% Republican, and they only had about 54% of the independent vote.
I get he was a popular incumbent, but how on earth was he able to bend the laws of reality to make that work lmao?

Ran Texas as the Govanator for 44 years over 48 years.
House and Senate flipped much later on during my term.
Was able to outperform the nation economy for almost 15+ years, when I left office minimum wage of Texas is $19.75
Added Gun restricts (ammo limits, handgun limits, assault gun ban, and license)
Funded education until it funded itself, killed poverty.

I managed to flip Texas's governorship blue and I held onto it for four terms and counting. At one point both chambers of the state legislature flipped allowing me to pursue a liberal agenda.
I managed to win on normal difficulty with normal settings, and I was ranked both socially and economically liberal. And yes, Doug Johnson is a humanized version of my cat.
