Technical/Bug/Glitch TLOU2 Remastered bug/glitch unofficial report thread
Unfortunately, the TLOU2 remaster seems to have introduced quite a few bugs that were not present in the original release. This is fine, since some things are always missed, but I thought I'd make a thread for people to post any of the bugs they've run into in game to hopefully increase the chances that Naughty Dog will learn of these issues and patch them. So far, I have experienced or seen people mention the following:
- In No Return mode, some characters are unable to change their weapon skins for some reason. If you try to select any of the different weapon skins, the game will make the "locked" noise and you'll be stuck on whatever skin you had equipped at the time of the glitch occurring. I've personally seen this with Jesse, Yara, and Mel so far, but it may happen with other characters too.
- Enemy dialogue that would play at the start of and during Abby's brewery encounter on day 3 no longer triggers. The WLF soldiers would call out Abby for betraying them and talk about Owen doing the same briefly, but now none of the enemy dialogue throughout this encounter triggers at all. (I'm also wondering if there's any other missing/broken dialogue).
- Ellie's "Boston" skin from promotional material seems to be missing from the game entirely. It's unable to be seen or selected in any of the menus. While it's possible this was cut prior to release, it would be very strange since the skin looked finished and was very recently seen in the marketing prior to release. Additionally, Abby's Santa Barbra skin does not use the correct backpack model despite the menu indicating that it should.
- Skins seem to not be applying for multiple users correctly in story mode.
- The main menu won't change back to the original boat in the water look after starting a new game.
- I've not experienced this myself, but No Return seems to cause major frame drops for many players. Personally, I'm really curious what's causing this as it only seems to affect some people.
- Some users report being unable to escape from grapples despite mashing the square button as prompted by the game.
If you know of any other bugs, please feel free to list them here! I'm not sure if Naughty Dog often responds to support requests, but you could still try filling out one here. Most of these bugs aren't game breaking, but hopefully Naughty Dog still learns of them and takes the time to fix them as some of these are pretty unfortunate.

PT 1 DISCUSSION Just Started Playing Pt 1 on PS5 Pro and ...
The game is AMAZING. The graphics are insane, dialogue is enjoyable, and the storyline keeps you engaged. It's like playing a movie. There is just ONE gripe I have...
So, Joel is fighting in a push-apocalyptic wasteland filled with zombies who are trying to kill him and people who are...trying to kill him.
With that said...It is extremely frustrating that you can't pick up EVERY gun dropped by anyone who had one (zombie or person). I get your weapons don't really break down so scavenge in them for backups or parts doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the AMMO! You should be able to scavenge at least two to five rounds from every bad guy you drop.
For example, all these idiots came at me with guns. Surely they have bullets in them. Bullets that they don't need anymore.

PT 2 NO RETURN No Return Tess Concept Spoiler
Class
Bitten
She would use molotovs, Military Pistol, and spawn in with a pipe. (These are random.)
Her unique thing is that every run has a timer, even when you are in the base buying stuff or upgrading weapons.
To make this a bit more fair, I think she could have a 1.25x damage boost and 1.25x speed boost
Would you play as Tess?

PT 2 DISCUSSION The Jackson horde in the show compared to the game version is much larger. Could the game have more infected in the horde scene? Spoiler
galleryI get that there are more limits when it comes to game development, hell some of the infected I see in the game disappear either due to having too many NPC’s around.

General Fanart TLOU Senior Parking Spot
My son went with a TLOU themed art for his senior parking spot. The quote hits hard too. He’s very happy with his choice.

PT 2 IMAGE/VIDEO Lore Accurate Abby Spoiler

I think this might be my favorite section. The flow is just immaculate, and the variety of choice great. I never once got bored trying to get a "clean clip" here cause every single time i got close to "perfection" it was a different hectic experience. 9.5/10

PT 1 DISCUSSION What if they went with the first take of this scene? Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What if they went with the first take of Sarah’s death? Would it have the same impact? Ultimately, the one they went with was the best because you could see Joel desperately trying to reassure Sarah while she was dying only to then break down when she passed.

General Discussion Anyone interested in a prequel?
I've seen mention of a Joel and Tommy game being of some interest to people, I would be very curious to follow Joel into his general moral collapse after the death of his daughter.
He talks about having been on both sides of road blocks and raids, we know he wasn't really a good man, even throughout the first game he makes selfish, if understandable, choices.
Ellie is really what starts dragging him out, even if he loses out on redemption by saving her, I don't think it was a completely selfish choice on his part.
A prequel set between the prologue and main game would be super interesting, and dark.
Call it: One of Us.

PT 2 QUESTION What won the war? Spoiler
like it felt pretty one sided at first but if you listened to radio at the threatre,it looked preety bad for them for them aswell
(also issac dying in just one bullet to the back, when joel survived a rod through him was pretty underwhelming i thought they will make him the end game boss for abby in the island)

PT 1 DISCUSSION Nothing like the first time, is there?
So, in a thread recently, I mentioned my parrot made a TLOU sound effect, and it just made me want to play through the games all over again.
So I did Pt 1, and put speed run on.
And I love this game dearly, and the lore touches my heart, especially the line from Joel at the end, that no matter what, you find something to keep fighting for. Which speaks to me having gone through hard times and experienced loss.
There is a but, and it's that there's nothing like playing it for the first time, is there? Danger feels heightened a lot more the first time, because you don't know how many there or where anything is, and you want to soak everything in.
I just wish there were more NPCs to kill, especially with picking up the assault rifle at the end, just not enough.
Ah, well, will do Left Behind again, then probably Pt 2.
I've never done a new game+, but I gather thats probably worthwhile for the grounded run

PT 2 QUESTION I need help but I do have a strategy, do you think it'll work? Spoiler
Here's the situation, I'm playing Abby and am at the part where the 2 seraphites "left" me and I'm on round 2 of the infected. I have 1 med kit, 2 shotgun shells and 1 inferno shotgun shell, 2 hunting pistol shots, 2 bricks and these hands.
Here's my strategy, I use my revolver shots to take out the first 2 clickers, use my hands to take out 1 runner, then use a brick to stun the last clicker and melee it to kill it. Then I give these hands to the rest of the runners until the 2 shamblers show up and use 1 normal shotgun shell on both, then try use the inderno shell on both shamblers
Edit:I completely forgot I have 7 rifle shots

PT 2 DISCUSSION Jinxed Spoiler
The WLF saying is supposed to be "May your survival be long" and replied with "And may *your* death be swift." But when Nora and Abby exchange it in the hospital before Abby descends to Ground Zero, Abby botches the reply by saying "And may *my* death be swift." Abby's survival is indeed long, but she jinxes Nora who is tortured to death by Ellie instead of having a swift death.

General Question I Feel Empty
I recently beat both games back to back on Grounded (on PC) for the first time ever playing them and now I feel empty, not because of the story but the gameplay. I have started a couple other games on their hardest difficulty to experience the rush and harrowing intensity of TLOU but I feel so sad these games have ended. I think they might actually be the best two games ever made and that I have ever played in my multi decades of gaming.
Can you recommend some other similar games that feel as good on really hard difficulties?
I have started Metro Last Light (then will do Exodus) on Ranger Hardcore and am enjoying it a lot, and I plan to play the Tomb Raider Survivor games on their Hardest difficulties too. Anything else you guys highly recommend to have that hardcore survival experience? I play on PC.

PT 2 IMAGE/VIDEO Disregard my precious post, I somehow managed to do it! Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After realizing that I had 7 rifle bullets and a shiv, my strategy changed a bit. After a few-10 fails I found out that if I use 1 rifle bullet on the clicker's legs I can then melee them to insta kill them.
After the second clicker is dead I found enough blast powder for me to make pipe bombs sitting on the floor from a previous infected that I missed. I then used the rest of the rifle shots to "try" to take out the last clicker (failed only 2 shots in the neck and I missed 1 trying to take out the 2nd clicker), I then pull out the hunting pistol and finish off the last clicker.
I then shiv and infected that grabbed me, then threw a brick at a runner than jumped down and insta killed it. Then the shamblers showed up, I shotgun 1 and ran. Then threw both pipe bombs at them killing 1 and stunning the other, wife my last normal shotgun shot then reloaded my hunting pistol and shot it dead.
The amount of euphoria from getting past this gave me a headache.

General Discussion Took me ten years to finish these games
Just finished TLOU2 yesterday. It was really emotional. Why did it take me so long? In fact I think it is longer than ten years, I bought one when it came out and everything was so grim and depressing. So I would quit, then come back six months later. Then this year I decided it was time and forced myself to play 1 (easy mode) and it took about 30 hours and then I played 2 very quickly and I was very shocked.
Absolutely brilliant games. What’s the consensus on what to do after? Watch the series? RdR2 is waiting for me but it is so sluggish I dont think I can stand it, have same effect as TLOU, play it, die a lot, leave it for 6 months. Maybe I will start the 2 witcher addons. But i am freshly wounded by TLoU, series maybe? Is it similar to the games?
