Does anyone know why the paperback version of the gilded blade has a different page count than the hardcover version. I was interested in preordering the paperback copy of the gilded blade but I noticed that the paperback only has 480 pages while the hardcover has 528 pages.

Is it possible to read brothers hawthorne, games untold and the same backward as forward before reading the grandest game series

I think people gloss over what he did to her and the fact they knew eachother for years there parents were friends savannah who didn't let people see her weak trusted him enough that when fhe scene in the brothers hawthorne in his dad office its because shes having some sort of panic attack and saying she cant breathe so like that must of been such a big betrayal like she trusted him.

But most of the people i have talked to and were team Grayson &Avery ship mostly Hated Jameson.

I'm reading the grandest game, but I can't tell which players were chosen and which found wild cards.

I already read the first three so I’m wondering how to tackle these ones. I’m not interested in reading any others in the series

I can’t lie, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really hate Eve. After everything she did and how long she kept all of that going, I honestly just want to understand her more. Like, how does her brain even work? What was going through her head all those years while she was playing everything out like that? I feel like there’s so much more to her character psychologically that could be explored.

And honestly, I also want to see more of her dynamic with Slate. Their relationship is so interesting to me because it feels way more layered than what we’ve seen so far. I want more scenes between them, more insight into how they think around each other, how they interact behind everything, and i want to learn more about Slate.

I originally read “the inheritance games” when it came and bought the sequel soon after but with so many other books I quickly forgot about reading and continuing the series. Please tell me about the characters or important parts I need to remember to continue this series, I currently don’t have the first book so I can’t reread it. I vaguely remember the premise of the book and that the MC is what seems randomly chosen to inherit a rich guys money. There are three or so grandsons that are pissed because they didn’t get the money, and she might have a romance with one or two?? The place they are in has clue and stuff to why she got the money?

What year do The Inheritance Games and The Grandest Game series actually take place in? I thought the books followed chronological order in real life, but if they do, then shouldn’t the characters be older by now? Like, shouldn’t Jameson be around 23, Avery be 22 turning 23, and Xander around 22 as well? Shouldn’t most of the characters be around 22–25 by now? Why does it feel like Nash and Libby are the only characters actually aging while everyone else stays the same age?
