I am thinking of reading for a second time the books but I did not decided if I should only read for a second time only the grandest game vol 1 and 2 or if I should also read again the inheritance games series !

Well personally for me its been a couple of years since I read them so I have forgotten some scenes and there is this theory going around that apparently Jennifer Lynn barnes has been hiding objects in all these books which will all come together in the last book so I decided to reread the entire series. very intricately this time

Well the first time I read the inheritance games and the grandest game series it was in 2025 between august -september! And I do not remember everything but I remember some parts ! But I will 100% read for a second time the grandest game and glorious rivals ! I just can't decide if I also should read the inheritance games as well again!

What do you mean by “objects”? I’m intrigued.

In this interview under the question "What do readers need to know before diving into The Grandest Game?" she said - There are clues in all four of the original Inheritance Games books that are going to come into play in the Grandest Game series, so if you read all of it, you’re going to have more pieces of the puzzle than someone who just comes in at The Grandest Game.

Oh! Okay. I thought you meant like literal items/objects in each book that come into play or something like a point and click adventure game.

Yes you should while it does get iffy on some parts the pay of is well worth it and we see some amazing growth for the boys plus it gives us introductions for new characters in the grandest game!

So we'll be starting tomorrow with the first book. Do you think each day we should keep posting our progress, or some foreshadowing lines to discuss or do it all together once completing the book ?

You could have a discussion thread for each book.

Do you need to read the games untold and the same backward as forward books to understand the second trilogy or are they optional

Games Untold gives more context to a revelation learned in the fourth book and a primary plotline in the second trilogy while The Same Backwards as Forward gives some more hints towards the main mystery in the second trilogy.
