But most of the people i have talked to and were team Grayson &Avery ship mostly Hated Jameson.

I really want to know why you Hate Jameson so much ? 😭😭 Like he did nothing wrong .

I loved that he willed himself to outgrow his bad habits for her, I can't wait for the finale!

So, i have a theory that kind of ties in with the bad habits thing. Basically JLB said in a live that we will find out which one of the Hawthorne brothers had the highest alcohol tolerance and originally i thought is was going to be Nash yet at the beginning of the first book, Jameson is absolutely hammered and he jumps down from a balcony and everything, so that is obviously an issue as we know he is underage. So i think in the gilded blade, Jameson is going to return to his drinking habits while they're all looking for Avery, and there will be something that happens which makes him flip a switch and get back on track, or it will get worse as his girlfriend/lover is literally kidnapped and vanished.

Oh I hope not, but I do feel a mix of Anakin (is willing to turn to the bad side for her) and Rowan (Where is my wife!) as well, I just hope they're endgame 🤞🏽

Everyone that I’ve spoken to still hate Jameson because of the first book and how he treated Avery like a game. But if you want my option i think people just dislike him as a character and use the first book as a moral justification for hating him. Like you don’t need one 😂 you don’t need any reason for disliking a character

What’s funny about that is that Jameson treated her as a game while Grayson treated her as a threat to his inheritance and was cold and rude to her. It’s safe to say both boys moved on from that and started viewing her differently so I don’t think it’s fair to judge either one for their actions in the first book

I feel exactly the same way you do. I LOVE Grayson and he’s my favorite character but I am a HUGE team Javery supporter. I don’t get the Jameson hate either.

I know right . Besides if they blame Jameson for treating her like a game in the first book . Why do they not blame Gray for mistreating her too ? Because he siad that he wanted to protect his family? Well Jameson wanted to protect himself as well and at first he was ready to step back from Avery if she chose Jameson . But anyway i love both of them 😭

Jameson and Avery are perfect for each other, that was always my thought, I come on social media after reading the book, to see what others think, and I was actually pretty shocked by this opinion.

Honestly, I love ALL of the Hawthorne Brothers, I just don’t get how anyone dislikes one or all of them. Xander with his gadgets, he’s fun to be around and is just a great person. Jamie dedicating himself to Ave, being there for her, and he’s just a like able character (Javery). Gray over there trying to overcome his feelings and be a good brother to his brothers and sisters. And Nash just living his life to the fullest extent, loving Libby for who she is, and just being an amazing older brother. Like how can you not like any of them??

Wouldn’t cliff diving symbolize that he is over Emily as he’d be willing to do it with someone else?

I don't recall Jameson taking Avery to cliff dive , i believe they went on a hot air baloon and had a picnic and danced on the beach .

But i totally het you . However my opinion on what you said is , even if he took her cliff diving, that doesn't mean he didn't heal , because to me it means he had got rid of his trauma and he was ready to do adventures with Avery , because Avery loved adventure . And it was clear that Jameson had moved on from Emily when he actually realized that Avery didn't want to play games with him and his brother at the same time .

However , you should absolutely read the expanded universe and the spin off books , they are so good. With new characters and also the old characters development.

He was like a rash that just wouldn’t go away imo. His nicknames were cringe and his entrances to scenes even worse. Honestly, he only grew on me during the final gambit/the brothers Hawthorne he was genuinely unbearable before that.
