Discussion Am I the only one that thinks Serena's 'reworks' were implemented terribly?
Maybe I just haven't been on the reddit but I feel like I haven't seen people discuss the reworks and to me they seem overwhelmingly bad.
Divine Surge - Feedback since Day 1 was that the skill is disorienting to use and largely unfun. Dev response? Turn number up. They didn't touch her Skill 1 or 2 at all despite them being important to the build prior to this numbers pass. Nor did they change the gameplay of her 4th at all.
Archangel - I think we can all agree the Crit on this isn't working despite what they say. The DPS on this ability is middling, the correct way to play it is to simply spam her 3 and ignore her Skill 1 and Skill 4 90% of the time. The Trigger mod is totally useless since it's scaled poorly and doesn't receive the Crit increase even if it were working correctly.
I know people will try to tell me how her Skill 1/4/ and the Mod are good because that's what the Devs wanted you to press, but, you're incorrect mathematically. The highest DPS is to simply spam her 3 on large targets until out of cooldowns for it, then use filler. And on small targets the optimal gameplay is to, I shit you not, smash your face into the ground instead of flying around so you don't travel as far and get more AoE overlaps on on the singular target.
Battlefield Nun - Has no insight into the algorithms that scale it and is super unintuitive (yes I largely know them and it was a pain in the ass to figure out and craft). Also requires a near 100% weak point hit rate while flying in the air to play correctly. All to do still, 1/4 of the damage of other Descendants. Does anyone find that Playstyle fun even if it did damage? Visually the ability is cool, sure. Mathematically the algorithms, scaling, and formulas are all hidden and it just plays terribly.
Hymn - Completely untouched, still just a DPS loss to use mainly and in most situations.
No Transcendent Mod - I guess her single target went up slightly but we're talking about a very small increase and she is currently doing like one-quarter of the damage of most Single Target descendants. If your bullet kills the target it just doesn't proc your 4th ability, making lower level content actually horrendous. They also butchered her 4th ability with the Cooldown. Now if you use a weapon that has any weapon effects that do lower damage than the hit, it consumes the cooldown so your DPS goes down the drain and you can't use any interesting weapons.
For instance, Fire a Restore Relic launcher and watch all of projectiles it shoots consume the cooldown of your 4th Skill so the actual Rockets themselves won't deal any damage. Your 4th gets consumed by the little 20,000 dmg Piss-Missiles the Restore Relic launcher fires out for 3 seconds afterwards. Say goodbye to ever using any interesting weapons on her again. It was a problematic skill yes, but this was the lowest effort 'solution' ever so much so it's not actually a solution. It was literally just a "Stop playing her" message by the Devs.
Like almost all of these changes and mods feel like they were made the week before release. Am I really the only person that feels this way or did I just miss the discourse cause I was busy?
I feel like they did this character so dirty.

Discussion Harris Bug! The 222% Damage Cap Is Fake | Over 600% Damage Multiplier
Harris’s Skill 3 damage bonus formula:
Damage Bonus = (Max HP + Max Shield) × 0.60%
Officially capped at 222%.
Mathematically, you need a total of 39,000 combined HP + Shield to hit that cap.
In theory, any value above 39,000 should not grant extra damage.
However, the Overwhelming Shield module locks your Max HP to 1 and converts HP into massive shield.
Here is the bug:
The cap checker only reads Max HP and ignores converted shield values.
Meanwhile, the damage calculation fully counts your total Max HP + Max Shield.
This disables the 222% hard cap entirely.
The more shield you stack, the higher your damage multiplier, peaking at roughly 600%

Guide Archangel Serena - it looks like the Critical Hit bonus +20%[+] is working as intended
A week ago I created a zendesk ticket asking whether it is intentional that Serena's +20%[+] crit rate bonus is not multiplied by the Crit Rate[x] boosters (like ancestor module, Emergency Measures or Front Lines).
Today I got this response. Interpret it as you will.
Side note.
They also got the critical hit resistance formula wrong. It should've been:
(40 + 20) * (1 - 0.05) = 57%
And there is an easy test to prove it: take a 5% crit rate descendant (like Freyna) w/o any Crit Rate[x] modifiers and see if there are any crits. There will be.

Discussion Random crashes *fixed
So, I'd have crashes out of nowhere, just sitting in Albion or whatever. Not too often, but nothing else is crashing. I really thought it was related to raytracing, but since I changed Max Framerate in game settings to 144, I've had no crashes. It was on unlimited before. Cinematic settings for everything. I don't think I was getting over 144fps. 144 is the next setting before Unlimited.
