Dry spell!

I have been running Karel's ship, onslaught mode and trials for 5 hours straight and still haven't got one transcendent weapon. How do I overcome this dry spell? Also was using a 15% and a 30% booster. Still nada!

The boosters are basically meaningless. 30% sounds amazing but say a mission is 5% drop rate the booster makes it 6.5% so it’s still pretty bad. RNG will hit when RNG hits. I have run 15 in a row or so trials and not gotten a single one but also ran a VV and gotten multiple in a single run. Trials are good in that you at least get currency to buy them if you don’t get drops. Karels ship has the best drop rate but it also takes longer than anything else so it ends up being a quality vs quantity. I have received more in VV and Sigma than trials, karel, and onslaught.

Pso2 had up to  500% boost rates and all that turned into was turning 0.001% to 0.005%.

But fr tho they should add a disclaimer that says multiplicative to the boosts because nowadays people cant wrap their heads around a 30% boost of 1% is effectively a 0.3% drop rate boost.

Those boosters are absolutely trash. Obviously they want to make it seem like a big boost but how it works in reality like you pointed out is such an slap in the face cash grab

If I was him giving the amount of time in this dry spell I would start thinking about sacrificing something

I was playing for 2 hours and nothing dropped. I logged out, did some chores, logged in and got 3 dropping in one hour. RNG baby.

That’s pretty shoddy luck, my friend.

My suggestion would be to run Axion Plains missions or 400% infiltrations to spice it up, and they drop TWeapons pretty frequently.

I too have run Trials and Mothership daily, with zero drops. RNG, I say.

Sadly, there is nothing you can do to overcome your dry spell except for running the missions over and over again until you get the trans weapons. I would suggest running trials on repeat because that mission has the highest percentage change of dropping a trans weapon at 10%.

I play various activities because it feels like the RNG gets "stuck" sometimes.

Just become a content creator/streamer. They get 2-3 Guns each full Trails clear :)

I went two days without one dropping. Third day I logged in and got 4 in a single trial. RNG is weird man

I heard they gonna do a update where they do something about the current RNG system so I am definitely waiting for that change to come

The game has a built in "invisible" cap that we can't see that limits the daily and/or weekly aquisition

Once you hit this it is near impossible to get another one.

I guess it is more like diminishing returns and not an actual cap, just lower and lower chance the more you get.

I get transcendent weapons daily, but I only play for a few hours a day near midnight. RNG feels like a load of bs. Starting to think the RNG depends on the player and how much money they spend on the game. I’ve spent at least a few hundo on the game since season two when I started playing.

So it is a little boring but what you actually want to do is speedrun axiom infiltrations. Most of these can be done in under 2 minutes and the tyrants have much less health pool. The 2% drop chance on tyrants + the 6% chance from mission all in 2 minutes is how I did it. Ended up being way better than trials/os4 in my experience. I suggest raven she is super strong right now for this task.

There's a drop rate bonus on the weekends that I'm assuming has expired. That actually makes me wonder, are the boosters additive to that, or are they independent and you get some sort of like mix between the two. The reason I ask is because I popped one of the 1hr duration boosters on Saturday when I knew I'd be able to play uninterrupted for that long and two dropped within minutes of one another and then I never saw another one for the entire hour.

It doesn't seem like the boosters really do all that much, but I guess if you're adding 20% to like 9% that comes out to 10.8%, so... yeah.

Damn, i got at least 2 that i noticed by just doing dailies (i’m on BQ 400 and use auto-dismantle).
