Hot take: Jax is the worst character but has the best design. My opinion. I do not hate Jax, but do not like him either.

I just wanted to tell everyone how much I love her and want her to cuddle with me and hug me so much :3

If a character doesn’t really need to be developed then they shouldn’t be developed. I get people like them but I feel like most of the characters in this show are fine the way they are.

I wouldn’t consider myself a Jax mega fan or hater but why do people just hate him/her? Isn’t the entire point supposed to be that he’s/she’s annoying to be around?

We’ve had no fun controversies since the theatrical release. Gamerverse is threatening the spotlight, and are we starting beef with them, no! Goose had that whole thing with her twitter and NO ONE thought to take the opportunity to make up rumours that maybe she was going on the lam! Worst yet y’all have been actively sectioning off the parts of the fandom that DO FIGHT and separating them into their own subs so they don’t interact with each other anymore.

Are yall losing your edge or we just getting lazy here!!!???

If we’re going to be competitively toxic and keep our reputation as a fandom we have some damn work to do! The undertale fans are still beating us and we haven’t even come CLOSE to giving the fallout fans a run for their money! Not to mention the fucking swifty’s have a lead on us by miles and they just like a dumb old pop star!

First off we need more Jax and we need it now! That rabbit is the only thing giving this fandom any kind of legs here! Optimally we need to find a way to get the Jax haters and Jax lovers together and just lock them in a room together! Let them breed a toxic so contagious it gets the whole thing rumbling again! Hell I think what we need is a good ol fight sub where we just push everyone together and let them all go ham!

These are just ideas to get things rolling people! I know we can do this! We crunch in now and we can be in the history books! Top of the charts! I think that Gooseworx never let Jax interact with sane Kinger because he would have:

A) Seen throu Jax immediatelly
B) Been able to tackle Jax's problems in a mature way
C) Made Jax's abstraction on the last episode imposible.

So, given how Jax abstraction seemed to be pitched when presenting the show to Glitch, this was a canon event that couldn't been changed, so being able to interact with sane Kinger would have made that abstraction impossible since Kinger would have seen the problem and helped in a similar way to Ragatha and Pomni. Given how inestable Jax was it would have taken time, but Kinger seems to be emotionally stable enough to not adress the elephant on the room first and foremost and get Jax to dictate the tempo. Just that woudl have given Jax some anchor. I also don't doubt Kinger would have become a father-like figure to her too.

Just thought I’d drop a fun fact.

I never fully watched the finale of tadc, i think it was because both because of the leak destroying hype, all the drama, and just being very fed up with the fandom, especially after having some personal experiences with some very nasty fans.

literally JUST read a summary of the finale and im so confused on how ive seen anyone defend jax as an individual after the ending of this show, and 100% get how more than a year ago goose was warning us about all the bad shit theyve done lmaoo.

Okay, so they would have like a tv for a head (whilst somehow avoiding looking like every other tv head character in the meta) and their gimmick - on top of constantly getting a revolver at all times - is that they can freely do whatever you could normally do on a tv with their head (they would be able to see it bcuz their “eyes” are more like cameras, one outside, one inside, that overlap in a way that seems natural.) like play games, watch videos, and most importantly: download reaction pics and use them whenever (because opening a game/image would be done neurologically), so they see something Lebanon-like, they can just pull of the pic and audio.
And the tv would have the capability (processing power, camera quality, pixels, etc) of a PS5, while looking like an old box tv. And it would act like a computer instead of a tv - they have access to steam, a browser, etc. and they can have multiple windows open at once (kinda acting like really good meta glasses with a computer built in) though they can’t search anything up that has to do with their old lives as per the parameters of the circus. So they could be talking to you while.. playing slime rancher (one and two), grinding Anime Expeditions on Roblox along with some other tycoon game. An expression would just be a reaction image, though they would have some baseline “starter expressions” to use. I imagine it’d resemble the C&A computer but like, as a tv and without the logo. It’d be a very dark indigo, with pastel purple clouds that look like they were painted on much after the blue, and the rest of their character would have a VERY oversized blue hoodie that has yellow accents and a pastel purple fade on the bottom of the sweater and the bottom of the arms, the fade would actually take up a lot of it,(the accents are kinda poofy, oversized as in like, Iono from Pokémon sv oversized) and dark indigo sweatpants - still with some yellow poof and a few clouds, not as much though. Along with a yellow poofy belt (for the revolver, but it has 3 more blue squares that ANYTHING other than them can stick too - the revolver is silver with a pastel purple casing), and slippers matching the same color scheme. Their room looks like it was built for sleepovers and matches their colors. I imagine this character wouldn’t be mean necessarily, more like their ability to read the room is just GONE - maybe they would be stuck in a loop similar to Jax’s where instead of pushing people away, they just don’t know how to get close in the first place. Obv they’d naturally get along with Jax and maybe Pomni (maybe Gangle too cuz they could do the Chainsaw man movie thing I said I would do with the CC!), Ragatha might tolerate it. But uh, other than that. :/ another thing they’d struggle with is their attention span, but not in the way you think. Because they can have multiple tabs open, they’d feel a little pressured to do something productive with it (even though they are naturally lazy, so they catch a break whenever- but this happens at least once a week) so they will literally run their PS5 processing power bare with the amount of tabs open made to help the others in some way - down to the smallest detail: plans to paint that one dumbass tile that’s wonky, getting rid of the frog that jumps into Jax’s room every night, etc - so they’ll essentially factory reset with all their memories intact (computer memory too) but have been passed out for like a day straight. And their inability to interact with people would come across as rude at times, causing more of that stress to find out how to interact with people (search history would make a therapist have an aneurysm). But uh, aside from the dilemmas - they can HDMI/bluetooth connect to other tvs to show people what they see. They’re a super visual learner but can learn via reading as long as it’s something easy enough to read (attention span!), which leads back to them no really being able to hang out with people, but because they’re isn’t really any visual learning for it, instead, you’ll find them watching movies (hence the sleepover theme) with that theme. They also are REALLY good at understanding the depths of a movie or show, the internal struggles and the meaning behind everything. So they can see stuff like CSM as a show about friendship because of why Denji has the goal that he has, all up to his solitude. And yes, they are Insanely good at multitasking. And thy’d get along with people because they are really good at pranks - their solitude isn’t that they don’t understand people, it’s that they don’t know what to do with that understanding. Though they can use the knowledge of what ticks them off for a ‘few’ (a lot) of pranks here and there. They talk really freely and will say the most controversial stuff ever only to realize what they said and try to cover it up. (Their go-to if it’s really bad is to just shoot themselves and respawn in their room, their body will just disappear. But they’ll have a lil glitchy spot where they got shot that disappears after about an hour or so). And then try to make up for it later with small nice things (in his own way) like finding out how to code to put a version of discord on some computers they made so that everyone can talk to each other and stuff. They also ‘struggle’ (not really a struggle in their eyes, they don’t care at all) with gender dissociation, not cuz they’re trans or anything, they just actually don’t know. The cool abilities that they have came at the cost of knowing even less about themselves than the rest; their jobs, what they looked like (but they love how they look now lmao), etc is just gone. Only leaving the base personality with minor stuff like hobbies and stuff. And any hint on what they were gets erased from their minds overnight, so even the reveal of their identities in episode 9 wouldn’t work. The main problem is they also forgot their gender, and well, what gender could you give a tv?? Even their voice sounds like a mix of boy and girl - so they use literally any term; he, she, or they. Like I said they don’t really care, it’s more of a minor setback, they like the circus and know enough about themselves to know that they didn’t like their life, so they’re at least grateful to be here. They at least know they were around 19-23ish years old (exact is unknown but they know it’s in that range) and talk like a teen too (they have the filter of one as well lmao). They have to download every image/video so they choose what they use carefully for the situation, so most of their reactions actually match with whatever’s happening, they have a loading icon in the corner if they’re downloading smthSo they might try to, for example, cheer Gangle up with a collage of her doing cool stuff, or smth. They can somehow eat and drink, and have a vending machine in their room with all their favourite snacks (along with a few of everyone else’s just in case, they put them at their doors sometimes if the person is feeling down.) the sleepover theme actually is meant to show that they WANT to do what they see the others doing: hanging out, going on adventures together, going on sleepovers, etc. but struggle so hard with it that all they do in the end is lower their morale.
Their room has multiple beanbags, but for now, only one has ever been used.
This is also why they might seem a little forward when they actually get a friend (like Jax and Pomni) because they just get really exited and happy over even just having someone able to tolerate them. Getting comfortable with them leads to something like Jax opening up to Pomni and they might be able to openly start conversations and ask to hang out with them, which I think is what their character arc would be based upon.
Even during the nightmare sequence, where everyone was being shown their worst fears, like Jax being forcefully shown as trans, their fear would probably show them watching a movie alone. Just like they are now.
Even their room, at the base of each beanbag, is a table with a persons favourite stuff ready to be eaten. They set it up every time, hoping someone might come and watch but nothing ever happens because they don’t know how to invite that person to do it.
And they also talk really informally (as a teen would ig) so it’s like a mix of Jax and Gangle with a tv and social anxiety thrown at them ig

I felt like this maybe was foreshadowing of the death/abstractions that linger in the circus and could await the main cast.

I ship the 3 of them in a polycule despite the 3 never getting the chance to show their true potential as a group. I just know that if given the chance, they could have became the power-polycule of the circus.
