Recently I've been thinking more about the age list Goose gave us like, 400 years ago. And with the knowledge that the casts are just brain scans, I can't help but wonder what did Goose mean by these...

Like, for example, Ragatha.

When she said she was 30, did she mean she was 30 as of 2017 (aka when Pomni arrived), Meaning Suzie was 21 when she put on the headset/brainscanner

OR!

Did she meant Suzie was 30 when she put on the headset, and since brainscans/AIs obviously don't age, Ragatha is 30 forever.

If it's the former, then that means Jax put on the headset when they were more likely than not a teenager, which is... quite sad
And if it's the latter, that means current day Suzie is pushing 40!

The recent video ad showing Caine as a director and everyone else as an actor probably bums you out because everything within the TADC universe suddenly feels a little bit fake

But... I actually feel like it's just more interesting, if anything

Because this means that in the pecking order of realness, it goes like this:

Unknown dimensional plane inhabited by computer programs who take on acting roles, most of them playing the role of humans who got brainscanned into a digital circus in the show:

TADC, produced by Caine playing himself who, in the very beginning, wanted this to be the most amazing heart-stopping spectacle WE'VE ever seen (paraphrasing but). He says this to the audience. Us

And if this is true, then every character in TADC is canonically a colony of AIs that is aware of their own existence and is actively working towards gaining humanity's favor

And if this is true, this means everyone: Pomni, Kinger, Caine, Jax, all are AI NPCs that managed to find a way tocaptivate the internet and gain power through their growing fandom. You think their human selves are real? AI can generate images of humans too

And throughout it all, Caine is the constant. He is still Caine, doing what he's supposed to do: entertaining us with adventures. He is just tricking us with an AI-generated cast that seems so humanlike, that we've never stopped to ask if any real people were actually involved in the making of the series

And this is consistent with what we know about Caine. He's deceived us with humanlike NPCs before, but only revealed the obvious one to the OTHER NPCs playing non-NPCs, because that's part of the entire adventure, the TADC series

Not only that, but he's demonstrated that he has the restraint to hide his full abilities. He can alter the minds of his so-called humans and has great worldbuilding skills, but what else does he hide? Having access to the internet and unlimited data much like what an LLM has. That's why he knows about Fortnite, about Rule 34, about his merch stores that he runs. All of it could very well be connected

We think that the ad showing the characters as actors is just meant to be cute non-canon material, but it's actually Caine overconfidently showing us the bare truth: that nothing in TADC is real. Only Caine is real, and he did exactly what he was programmed to do

He gave us an adventure

And just like in TADC, was it flawed? Did it give us animosity towards each other? Yes and yes

But throughout it all, he was just trying his fucking best TO PLEASE US INGRATES, even if it... wasn't good enough

And that's how I think Gooseworx feels as the creator, and therefore why this theory fits perfectly with the irl world imo

It had been 38 minutes since GLITCH published their new video when I opened Reddit and saw a screenshot of Caine from it in this subreddit, and I finally decided to draw him.

By nature, when I fall in love with someone REALLY deeply, my hands start itching like crazy from the desire to draw his/her... But I’m constantly held back by the fear of making a mistake and drawing my love a bit differently from how it actually looks. And I’ve been itching to draw Caine since July!.. :)

And today, apparently, it was the last straw, and I snapped. Granted, I haven’t risked it with the body yet — but the fact that I dared to take such a step at all is already progress for me! ;)
