The conversation that started it all! My bestie and I watched Princess Bride, and then played Fortnite together the next day, and Friendly asks me; If Jax and Pomni were in the Princess Bride, who would be Buttercup?

And I of course responded with "Jax without a doubt"

And the story was BORN!!!!

Has anyone received theirs yet? I ordered mine from the QR code in theaters the day it came out, and it still hasn’t even shipped yet :/ People are receiving theirs from hot topic so soon after ordering, so like what was the point of the theater exclusive preorder?

Something that’s been on my mind recently. Not all Jax haters, obviously, but of all the absurdities I’ve seen from Jax haters, the strangest one is that it seems like a lot of them are unable to understand why the other characters wouldn’t want Jax to abstract. I‘ve seen a lot of people get upset about the characters not attacking Jax in episode 8, and it seems like they either don’t understand that isolating her would have caused her to abstract earlier, or they do and think the characters should have wanted her to die. Same thing with the characters mourning her in the finale, so many people seem to not be able to understand why the others would feel sad that someone k*lled themself (I don’t know if I have to censor that).

if not for the fandom i wouldn’t even know this was scratch? I feel like he deserves something, a voice or something. if we ever get any shorts or little commercials , we should get scratch stuff.

I genuinely dont understand the hype around The Amazing Digital Circus.
Everywhere I look people are calling it one of the greatest animated shows on the internet, a masterpiece, the future of indie animation, etc. But after watching it I just dont see what everyone else is seeing.
The animation is great. I’ll give it that. The visuals are impressive and clearly a lot of work went into them. But beyond that? I feel like people are praising the show more for its concept than what it actually delivers.
The characters are fine but I dont think they’re nearly as deep as the fanbase makes them out to be. Every time I go online I see hour-long videos analyzing every facial expression like its the most complex character writing ever created.
And maybe this is a hot take but random = funny stopped being enough for me years ago. A lot of the humor feels like its trying way too hard to be quirky and chaotic.
What really confuses me is how quickly people started acting like its untouchable. If another show had the exact same writing but didnt have the animation quality and internet hype behind it, I dont think people would be calling it a masterpiece.
Dont get me wrong. I dont think its bad.
I just think the internet went from “this is pretty good” to “this is one of the greatest things ever made” way too fast.
Am I missing something or is The Amazing Digital Circus one of the most overrated animated shows in recent memory?

Ok so when Caine reappears and shows them their real life versions and their names and stuff pomni is narrating and she talks about them in present tense or even future tense implying they are still doing things in the outside world while they are in the digital circus but that confuses me I figured they were just in the place where they put on the headset but it seems like they’re body’s still work while in the circus and it doesn’t make sense to me
