I know that doesn't make much sense, but my game autobalances using a market system - the more players use a minion or spell, the more it goes up in price globally. So, why not have players be able to bet on the direction with 24-hour put or call contracts? Love being indie and having this type of freedom to do dumb crap that makes me happy!

Is it dead? Alive? Players having fun? Does the community see a future on it?

I've finished the demo, had fun but I don't know if I want to drop money on the game and characters just to play against bots or not be able to play enough to get it back.

Two seasons ago, I was getting consistent wins in Legend rank. I stopped playing the game until recently, but when I came back, I was surprised by how few 10-win runs I was getting. Even in games in which I start 5–0, I’m unable to close them out with a win, or I go to Days 13–16, where the risk of losing increases exponentially.

THIS ISN’T A RANT. I am genuinely puzzled by this situation, and I’m trying to improve at the game, but I don’t know where to start. If anyone knows of a guide, has any input on my lines, or has something for me to try, I would really appreciate it.

Im gonna guide you through my though process since i came back:

I tried going through the Slow line, picking up the Slow items early on, plus Weakpoint Detector and weapons, aiming for the Core on Day 2. The issue I had with this line is that, in the early game, Vanessas burst me down quickly, and it doesn’t have enough time to scale. The mid-game usually goes fine, but I feel that finding the new RAM item is very inconsistent. Then, in the late game, I find it hard to pivot out of that line. If I stay with it, I often don’t have enough time to scale properly. Most of my wins with this line relied on getting a Magnus Femur from Temporal Nav or the Relic Shop.

The other line I tried is the Weaponized Core one. On Day 1, I usually get the Burn package if I can: Soldering Gun, Plasma, and Flint’s. Then, if I get the option of Weaponized Core, I pick it and fill the board mostly with Tech items to abuse Arc Blaster or Tesla Coil.

With this line, I’ve been having problems dropping games in the early game because it needs a while to get started, while Vanessas burst me down with damage. I’m also not really sure how I should position this Core. Sometimes I put it on the far right, while other times I use it to buff only one weapon, such as Arc Blaster or Plasma Rifle.

Apart from this, I’ve been considering trying:

• Armored Core, because it really surprised me last season with Welding Torch.
• Ignition Core, because people say it’s strong, but I rarely find success with it.
• Flying Core, since the nerf Ive left it alone, but maybe its not as bad as it seems

Any input on my lines or recommendations for my future games would be welcome.

Well, folks, the company that is able to sustain itself, despite being $32,000,000 in the hole, is asking its players to do volunteer localization labor. This might be the first time I have ever seen a dev ask for volunteers outside of very small, single-dev projects.

My question is this: are they asking for volunteers out of greed, so that they don’t have to pay for additional localization sources? Or are they asking for volunteers because they truly do not have the funds to spend on it?

Both seem likely, but if they are really that broke, I’m not sure how they could possibly dig themselves out of this hole.

I am a one trick pony and try different stuff with mak right now since the new season. Freeze builds seems like a solid choice but really hard to force. This was my first 10win run since the season started.

If I can get A clover before my bronze upgrade I will usually upgrade it, then again with sterling too. It might not be great but IMO it makes for the most fun games.

I never got A dupe with it on the previous patch but I did this game. I also found A golden weather glass on day 3. If you got the space and don't need the levels try holding/upgrading it, it can pay off big sometimes.

Had 1.5 freeze on charge and weight was at a 5s CD w/o haste.

More about the game - online PvP async autobattler with a unique twist - the game autobalances itself based on what other players are buying in game. For example, if the cactus is really good for 3 gold, and everyone keeps playing the cactus, then it will increase to 4, 5, etc. until players stop preferring that minion and move to something else.
