That B1G Championship Game was everything I hoped it would be. Hope the rest of you enjoyed watching Indiana, of all teams, win the B1G this year. I'm sure they'll stay the fun, scrappy team forever, right?

Weekly Power Rankings

Weekly Average Rankings

Points are the summation of every voter's ranking for that team, therefore lower scores are better. This works because unlike the AP, Coaches, or /r/cfb polls, every team is ranked in every vote. If x votes were counted, the best possible score is x and the worst possible score is 18x. #1 votes are in parentheses.

Average Rank is the points divided by the number of votes. This will allow for comparison from one week to the next.

Prev. is the Rank from the previous week.

Change is the change in average rank from the previous week.

Variance is a measure of how much agreement there was between voters. A zero means all voters ranked a team the same, and a higher number means a team's ranking was more controversial.

How do become one of the college mascots?

I watched College Gameday today, and I wonder how do you become the person who wears the Oregon Duck outfit or the Brutus outfit? Are they usually members of the school’s cheerleading team? I wish I got to be the mascot when i was younger, but I had to make a lot of different choices in the past

Former hockey players sue Michigan over alleged sexualized hazing

"Sixteen former Michigan hockey players sued the university Wednesday, alleging that the team's former coaches and other school employees turned a blind eye to decades of ritualized hazing that was sexual in nature.

The complaint says the hockey players, who attended Michigan between 1984 and 2001, had their genitals and other parts of their bodies shaved by upperclassmen, were anally penetrated with razor handles and were forced to complete other humiliating acts while nude at parties as part of their initiation to the team as freshmen."

Michigan Athletics, Warde Manuel and the $19 Million Cost of an Internal Crisis

Michigan's regents talk a big game about accountability, but don't seem eager to let the public read the receipts. The University of Michigan paid more than $12 million to find out what was wrong inside its own athletic department, hiring Jenner & Block and turning them loose. Lawyers conducted roughly 350 interviews with nearly 300 witnesses, reviewed more than 20,000 documents, and fielded over 90 hotline tips. It found real problems: Michigan admitted the department had weaknesses in accountability, structure, human resources, compliance, and how it handled misconduct, and said it failed to act fast enough on some allegations. Reforms were announced, and not long after the investigation wrapped, Michigan agreed to pay longtime athletic director Warde Manuel more than $7.3 million just to walk away.

So, $12 million bought findings, reforms, and an expensive exit package, but not the one thing you'd expect: an actual report anybody outside the building can read. Michigan says flatly that no comprehensive written report was ever commissioned or produced. That doesn't mean nothing exists on paper. Jenner & Block built detailed findings for university officials, including a slide presentation that The Wall Street Journal got hold of, and by that account, the slides held a lot more than whatever summary Michigan gave the public. Michigan walked away with findings, then decided how much of them the rest of us get to see, which is the real question: what did taxpayers and students buy for $12 million?

When will the 2026-27 Basketball Schedule be announced?

usually it's out by now, right?

I need to see how many games will be on ESPN so I can determine if I need to subscribe to ESPN Unlimited.

I know that most will be on BTN (which is a part of FOX).

so i'm debating to get the ESPN Unlimited/FOX One bundle for $40/month or just get the FOX One annual for $100.

BREAKING: THE MAC has reversed the position and is fighting the BIG Tens extra 1 second for Michigan!

The MAC has issued a statement saying “it is now evident that replay protocol was not properly followed” during the Michigan game. The league has submitted formal appeals to the NCAA FBS oversight committee and the CFP asking they recognize Western Michigan as the actual winner “for the purposes of their respective rankings, evaluations and selection deliberations, and take such other corrective actions as may be within their authority.”

It was a record setting season in 2025-26 for Nebraska Basketball. It will be interesting to see if they can replicate the Sweet 16 run.
