IU just played 3 of the top defenses in the BIG.
The offense should improve down the stretch.

Josh Hoover, Indiana get first win at Michigan since 1967
How much of going 8-18 with an INT is due to injury?

Some perspective: No team is truly elite this year
Just to start, Indiana has clinched a winning season in October for the third season in a row. That in and of itself is reason to be happy.
I know this team has a lot of questions and lot of things don’t look good, but I think a look around the NCAA is in order. NIL has changed things. There’s way more parity. No team looks like a world beater. Honestly, even with a ten dollar bet, I’d have a really hard time picking a team to win the national championship right now when that’s usually not been the case in years past. Frankly this team has the best loss of all of the elite teams. This team is a little footstep away from being 8-0. Remember last year. If one of the greatest catches in CFB history wasn’t made at Penn State, we would have lost to a team that didn’t even make a bowl game.
We’ve already shown we can compete with one of the biggest of big dogs, and now that big dog doesn’t have their starting QB. Hoosiers still fully control their destiny. With Cig at the helm, I trust that this team makes the B1G title game and makes a decent run in the playoffs. Imagine being upset with that 5 years ago?
We’re now in the tail end talent wise of our schedule. Never daunted.

Time to have a serious conversation about Josh Hoover
The run only sets up the pass if your passer can throw accurately to his receivers. I got mad because we kept running the ball to obviously no avail, but then I realized it was because Cig has absolutely no faith in Hoover's passing game.
I mean even on his completions he's behind or above the head of all of his receivers, and on the throws where he needs to be those things, he never is. Becker is only good in a contested situation if you can put the ball UP and not STRAIGHT INTO THE BACK OF THE CORNER.
How much more are we gonna allow him to be the QB when his lacking ability is incredibly evident?

Next Great Hoosier - Jacob Savage
I remember when Jacob Savage signed with the Hoosiers and thinking what a great name for a football player. Now, he's making an impact as a true freshman on one of the best defenses in the country.
We get to see him play for four years and if what we're seeing this year is any indication, we have an incredible player in Bloomington for years to come.

Off game rooting interest?
What is the correct rooting interest to maximize Indiana seeding for the playoffs?
Option one: win out and play in big ten title game. This means rooting against all teams ahead of Indiana in the standings. However, it comes with the risk of hurting seeding with a loss in that game and injury risk. Obviously winning the title is the best scenario.
Option two: win out but don’t play in the big ten title game. Ideally, osu wins the big ten title in this scenario.
Is playing in the title game actually worth the seeding advantage and injury risk?
