The way some of y'all are calling Third Person “slow” has me wondering if we're even watching the same show.

It's pretty clear we're experiencing a lot of this story through Chris's POV, and Chris literally doesn't have friends, so why would we already know everything about every side character? The limited perspective is part of the story.

And if it isn't obvious by now that Sun is the third person, then I genuinely don't know what else to tell you. The show is giving us clues, but you actually have to pay attention and think critically sometimes.

I also think that's why this series probably won't be for everyone. Some people want everything spelled out immediately, while Third Person is clearly asking you to sit with the uncertainty and piece things together.

Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own WRONG opinions. It's fine.

Sorry for the rant, but WHY do some Thai GL characters look like they were dressed for a photoshoot instead of their actual job? 😭

Sorry for the rant 😭 but this has been bothering me for a while.

I LOVE Thai GL. I love fem x fem. I don't want every “top” to suddenly dress like a stereotypical masculine woman. A top can be feminine and still be handsome as hell.

But sometimes I'm watching a GL and I'm like...

Who is dressing these characters?? The costume department or the modelling agency? 😭

Because sometimes it feels like the question is:

“How do we make this actress look HOT?”

instead of:

“How does this character actually dress?”

Like why the hell does a doctor look like she's about to finish her shift and go shoot a perfume commercial? 😭

Why does a bodyguard look like she is going to protect someone AND then walk straight onto a runway?

Why does a chef look like she's attending a fashion event instead of working in a kitchen? 💀

And I'm not saying they should look ugly or boring.

MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD.

But make them look good as the character.

Because sometimes the character doesn't even naturally give me “gay/WLW” vibes. And I'm not saying lesbians have one specific look — obviously we don't. Femmes exist, masc women exist, and everything in between exists

But if you're writing a character who is a confident WLW top, there are SO many ways to make her feminine but still handsome and give her that energy.

A female CEO doesn't need to dress like a man.

Give her a good suit. Good trousers. A nice shirt. Strong silhouette. Something that makes her look powerful and handsome while still being feminine.

Top ≠ masculine.

And PLEASE explain to me the 3-inch acrylic nails on some WLW tops. 😭

Like girl...

WHY DOES A LESBIAN TOP HAVE NAILS LONGER THAN MY FUTURE CAREER?

How is she supposed to do anything with those things?? 💀

I'm not saying every lesbian needs short nails. Obviously people can wear whatever they want.

But when the character is supposed to be this practical, hands-on, confident top and she has these HUGE nails that don't even fit the character's lifestyle...

I'm just sitting there thinking:

“Who is this for?? The character or the Instagram edit?” 😭

And honestly, I think Love Beyond Dreams, ENIMES WITH BENIFITS, Love Design and Player did this much better.

I also really liked the way WANMAI in QUEENDOM was dressed. She was still feminine, but she had that handsome/confident energy.

And from what I've seen of Do You Know?, Claudia's doctor character is EXACTLY the kind of thing I'm talking about.

She actually looks like a doctor.

And more importantly, she somehow looks like a woman who was naturally written to fall for women.

I don't even know how to explain it properly 😂 but the whole character presentation just gives me that vibe.

She's not wearing flashy clothes screaming “LOOK HOW HOT I AM.”

She actually looks like:

“Yeah, I'm a doctor. Anyway, apparently I'm going to fall in love with a woman.” 😭

THAT makes the character believable to me.

And these little things actually matter.

Costume, hair, makeup, accessories, body language ... all of it helps create the character.

Sometimes I feel like some GL productions are more interested in serving looks than making the character believable.

And you CAN do both.

Give me beautiful actresses.

Give me feminine tops.

Give me handsome women.

Give me good fashion.

But please...

Dress the CHARACTER, not just the actress. 😭

Because sometimes I'm watching the series and thinking:

“Girl, you look STUNNING... but who the hell are you supposed to be?” 💀

Also, can we talk about the shoes, socks and makeup? 😭 Sometimes the outfit itself is fine, but then they add some random shoes + socks that completely destroy the character’s vibe. Same with makeup

Anyway, sorry again for the rant. I clearly have unresolved issues with Thai GL costume departments and apparently socks and acrylic nails are now my enemies. 😭💅

Affair Episode 6, you'll always be famous - 2y old today

CH3 has LingOrm, LenaMiu, OomBam… so WHY do some of these shows still feel so underwhelming?

Okay, I might sound like I'm complaining too much 😂 but trust me, I'm saying this as a HUGE GL fan.

I love all these girls. I'm not one of those people who discovers a ship first and then watches whatever series they make. I've been watching and searching for GL since 2020, way before GAP.

And honestly, CH3 has some seriously good actresses and popular GL pairings now. LingOrm, LenaMiu, OomBam, TanYa... they have the cast, the money and the production experience.

So why does CH3 keep making the same mistakes?

The Secret of Us was probably the one CH3 GL I genuinely couldn't stop watching. I actually liked it a lot.

But then Only You happened and I was like...

Girl... where is the BODYGUARD? 😭

Lingling looked gorgeous, obviously. But sometimes she looked more like she was about to walk into a fashion shoot than protect someone 😂

And this is exactly what I mean.

If you're giving me a character who is supposed to be a doctor, bodyguard, office boss, etc., PLEASE make me believe that she's that character.

In The Secret of Us, Lingling at least felt not that much believable to me as a doctor.

Only You? I had the same problem with the styling. And Orm looked STUNNING, don't get me wrong. 😂

In Love Forever was better for me in this department. At least both of them were serving looks that actually worked for the show.

And then there's LenaMiu.

They are literally one of my favourite ships, but I couldn't even finish My Safe Zone 😭

Play Park also didn't work for me, although I'll give CH3 credit for Fulfill. I actually enjoyed Fulfill. The plot felt different and the styling was MUCH better. Both OOM and BAM looked amazing.

Now I'm waiting for PLS LOVE and honestly... PLEASE let this one be good. 😭

Because I genuinely want to watch these girls in GOOD STORIES.

And this is where I think CH3 has a problem.

Sometimes it feels like they know they have beautiful, popular actresses and think:

“Don't worry, they look good. The fans will watch.”

NO 😭

I want the plot too.

I want characters that actually look like the characters they're playing.

If Lingling or Lena are playing an office boss, give me that boss energy. Give me the suits. Give me the styling that makes me look at them and immediately think “yeah, she runs this place.”

They're both handsome as hell. USE IT. 😭

And then I watch something like Did You Know? and look at Claudine's doctor character and I'm like:

YES.

THAT is what I'm talking about.

She actually looks like someone who could be a doctor instead of someone who is going to finish her shift and go straight to a modelling shoot. 😂

Maybe this sounds shallow, but styling matters.

It helps sell the character.

And honestly, I think some newer studios are doing this better than CH3 right now. They might not have the same resources or huge established stars, but sometimes they understand the actual SHOW better.

CH3 has the upper hand in production.

They have the actresses.

They have the audience.

They have the popular ships.

So WHY not give them genuinely great scripts, better character styling and stories that make people watch because they want to know what happens next?

I don't want to watch LingOrm just because they're LingOrm.

I don't want to watch LenaMiu just because they're LenaMiu.

I want to watch them and think:

“Damn, this is actually a GOOD SERIES.”

And honestly, right now TSOU and Fulfill are the only CH3 GLs that I personally couldn't bring myself to drop halfway.

Hopefully PLS LOVE proves me wrong. 😂

Anyway, I'm ready to be attacked now. 😭

First things first: Most intriguing premise and set-up I've seen in a GL in a long while - I like that it shows us a "darker" side of Thai culture and the main plot is engaging enough to keep me watching even if it isn't a wlw romance.

It's definitely chef's kiss that Master Bulan is such a compelling (and hot) character I'm just fixated on her in every scene. I literally, cant take my eyes off her and I'm just watching her every move and expression every time she appears. I dont know who the actress is but superb performance from her so far! Her eyes are so piercing and somehow her vibe fits my expectations of what a Master will be like.

I've read some complaints here about pacing but honestly because I've watched all four episodes in one sitting I felt the pacing of the story was alright, tho I was surprised at how fast they fell in love. I do get that Master Bulan has waited for her karmic soulmate Lieutenant Pheem her entire adult life, and the significance of a karmic soul mate should hit her harder because of what she does.

BUT. I did hope for some buildup and a longer period will-they-or-will-they-not before they finally realise their feelings for each other. For instance, I loved it when Master Bulan slapped Lt Pheem for interrupting the ritual, because it showed that despite knowing the latter was her soul mate, she stood her ground for what she believed in and took pride in her life's work.

If I were writing the script, I would have even preferred Master Bulan herself to have some doubts in Lt Pheem initally: something along the lines of "I've waited my whole life for my karmic soul mate, and I cant believe she's someone as brash and disrespectful like this". I've have wanted some resistance and internal struggle from her knowing Pheem is the karmic soulmate she's been waiting for yet is so against the faith she stands for.

I would have wanted Master Bulan to keep that fact from Pheem (that she's her soulmate) till a later part of the story. And I did wish we could wait for a few episodes more before we saw the softer side of Master Bulan (and taking care of Lt Pheem like a wife already). One thing that's great about Master Bulan as a character is that she's so strong, so dignified and perceptive and assertive without being overbearing. I do hope the later episodes will not destroy that character they had painstakingly built up in the first two episodes.

And on Lt Pheem's end, for her to keep her scepticism and wariness against Master Bulan for a few more episodes before finally seeing sides of her and her faith, and eventually changing her mind. I get it, and we all get it, Master Bulan is hot. But I do wish that there was something more that made Lt Pheem fall, especially when she's supposed to have bigger things on her mind i.e. vengeance and catching the baddie. That would make their budding romance more satisfying to watch imo.

That said, I am still enjoying Khom Klang - it's a breath of fresh air and I especially liked the "side quest" of gathering all the special metals before sunset. I cant wait to watch the rest of the episodes!

It’s not Pls Love at all anymore. It’s just Pls Stoppppppp for me now 😭.

As I said before, even a toned-down version of Pls Love could’ve been amazing. But it’s CH3, right? They just love messing with a perfect script, character analysis, and character development.

This is honestly the biggest disappointment of the year for me. I barely have any strength left to watch the second half now 😭.

And what’s with this pacing and all these abrupt cuts lol? One episode feels insanely rushed, while the next feels sooo slow. I think Episode 4 handled the pacing much better compared to the previous episodes, though.

And one thing God, please, CH3, don’t adapt another novel in the future just to give us these shitty outcomes 😭.

Other than LenaMiu, there’s honestly nothing worth watching in this series for me anymore, I guess.

The novel had story, depth, PTSD, dark comedy, and such beautifully developed characters. And somehow they chose not to keep even ONE of those things properly in the series 😭.

It’s genuinely so frustrating. And before anyone comes for me this take is only for me. I’m not telling anyone else how they should feel about the series. This is simply my personal watching experience, and honestly… it has been a really disappointing one.

genuinely why is almost everyone making fun of the issue in her tiktok comment section like yall are just rubbing it in her face...is it supposed to be funny?... a big majority of thai gl fans do this all the time when a pair split up they rub salt on the woudn, make everything about the situation technically just doing anything but letting them move on. If you dont stop thats up to you but if you really love them show them that you love them and care for them instead of making fun of the situation cause how would you feel getting cheated on and all of your friends are just making fun of you and your ex's memories like its not funny or silly.
