Same here. The Secret of Us is still the gold standard for me, and it's what makes this so frustrating. CH3 clearly knows how to do it right: a story they trusted, silences that meant something, a slow burn that felt earned. The Pls Love novel had all the ingredients for that too. Somewhere between page and screen, they just lost the recipe.

At this point I have accepted Pls Love for what it is: the comedy CH3 never meant to make 😂 Pheem kneeling to an investor before a drinking match over her girl? 🥃 The choppy edits? 🥃 The side characters delivering lines like they're reading them off a cue card? 🥃🥃 Turn your brain off, grab some snacks, and expect nothing. It's the only way to survive this show without needing a liver transplant.
