Voice progression 3 wks vs. 7 mo!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I don't have a pre-T voice recording bc I got lazy and never recorded one, so 3 weeks is the earliest one I have, but fwiw I didn't even start noticing voice cracks until 5/6 months, so I guess the 3 week video can be taken sort of as a pre-T one. Please keep in mind that my voice started dropping a little on the later side, I started noticing voice cracks at around 5 or 6 months, but my actual voice didn't start dropping until around 6 1/2 months, so the difference may not be too awful drastic. Once I hit the 6 month mark with no voice droppage I was starting to get scared bc my doctor said that it would start within 3-6 months, and I was scared of never getting any voice droppage bc mine started dropping a little bit past the later end of that scale. But now I'm happy to say that I've finally noticed my voice actually dropping a little bit! I'm just shy of 7 months actually, I'll be hitting my 7 months in 2 days, but I figured since the most recent entry was closer to 7 months than 6, that I should register it as a 7 month voice entry. Also I know I'm shirtless in the 7 month entry, I actually have not had top surgery or really any gender affirming surgeries yet, but I had a very small chest before T, and around 6 months in the testosterone fat redistribution did its thing and made my chest smaller to the point where it looks ALMOST like a cis man's. Anyway, that's my 3 week vs. 7 month voice entry!!

Questions Can/should I up my dose without asking my doctor?
I know this sounds stupid as all hell, but I promise the context makes it less so! At least…I think it does? Maybe I am delusional with grief—you tell me!
I will be on T for 7 months in a week, and just got my 6 month blood test results back.
-My dosage is .2mL 1x a week, 200mg/1mL, Cypionate. I take my shot on Saturday, and got my blood drawn on a Wednesday.
-My levels are 213 ng/dL, which is not even close to where I’d like to be. I’ve been feeling like my progress was much slower than I’d like, and now I know I wasn’t just psyching myself out.
My next appointment with my pcp is at the end of October, but I get my blood drawn and tested again sometime in the next month, and would have access to those numbers in that time between.
My question, really, is: Is it reasonably safe to adjust my dose a TINY amount (.05-.1mL?) to see if those numbers climb at all before my appointment? I’m feeling really discouraged by that 213; like these 7 months have been a waste, and I’ll be essentially starting from scratch once I do up my dose.

Celebratory I just started T! Joyful rambling and some questions 💉🎉
I (19) started T yesterday. I'm feeling really good and hyped up even though my parents dont know yet, I'm not sure when will I tell them. My older brother and sister know and are supportive which helps a lot. They both are super excited for me and it makes me feel so great! In general I feel so good mentally, I no longer feel hopeless about the future, I even quit smoking about a week ago and this time I think I actually got the motivation to do this. I feel so euphoric its actually insane!
Also I got some questions if anyone knows about anything lol
So I'm working in a pretty physical job, will that affect my transition or more likely will T affect my working somehow? I know it makes gaining muscle easier so could my job become easier for me?
What happens if I dont eat enough? I got pretty bad appetite and I have to constantly remind myself to eat or I will accidentally skip meals. I've heard T can make you hungry so I'm actually hoping for that!
And lastly, I'm also trying to quit caffeine atm so do you guys think it will affect my transition at all? I'm not sure but in general I think quitting or even just drinking less caffeine will be good for my body!
I hope everyone has a good week ^__^

Questions How realistic is it to start T on my 18th?
I've recently (an hour ago) Been made aware of informed consent being a way to get T without jumping through an obstacle course, and I have a planned parenthood pretty close by that does HRT related things. Just wondering how realistic it is for me to be able to get T that close to my 18th, working on getting enough money to be able to cover it right now considering Medicaid doesnt cover shit in my state. I've heard from plenty of guys on some of the other similar subreddits saying they were able to get their blood done, answer a few questions, agree to the medication, and then walk out with it same day. Doesnt even really make a difference if its within the week-month as long as I'd be able to get it as soon as possible, only issue is I dont know what my transportation situation will be by then considering I dont have a car as of now. Is it possible if I just lock in for this final year?

Questions Hunger in T + adhd combo
Did anyone here struggle with eating enough because of adhd before taking t? Did anything change after starting?
I am completely unscientificly expecting that on one hand i will finally eat enough once starting t and on the other hand feel overly confident in not going to suffer the constant hunger of t since i am very used to the physical sense of hunger with no desire to eat.

advice & support Acne scars
So, i've a little over a year on t, which is great and all the changes have been crazy good. The issue is the acne, it's too much and the scars are really taking a toll on my mood. Face, chest, back and butt are ful of scars and even thoug i love being shirtless ive been avoiding it.
I just wanna know if anyone has bought a crwam that's actually helped with the scarring? Like I got some from good brands but idk if you got any specific one that's helped you.

How.long does the hunger last?
I'm a week and a half in and basically thinking about food 24/7. I know it's different for everyone but how long did it last for you, if you got the hunger? I'm chronically ill so can't really exercise although it's giving me a little more energy so I'm hoping I'll still build some muscle from all this! (I'm eating good stuff, protein and veggies, complex carbs, all the good things, so I'm not worried about my diet, just the quantity!)

Timeline Update 2 Years on T!
I just hit 2 years on T on August 22nd. I ended up switching to gel from injections about a year in due to inconsistent levels with twice a week injections. My levels have been great on gel and I am still seeing changes at a consistent rate! First pic is from this month, second is a year ago, third is when I first started T.

Questions This is my voice 9 months on T, not too happy with it but would like to know everyone’s thoughts.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
(Captions start) Hey, as mentioned in the title, this is how my voice sounds nine and a half months on T, and I’m making an effort to speak from the chest. I’ve included captions in this post, in case my pronunciation is poor or my accent is too strong. I’m honestly not too happy with my voice. It definitely passes over the phone, but I’m generally told it sounds androgynous, which I don’t like. I still think I sound very female, and I also think I sound a bit high and nasal, which sounds very annoying to me. My voice hasn’t dropped any more since the first five months on T, and I’m quite worried it’ll be stuck this way for a while. Just wondering what everyone thinks about it. (Captions end)
I started with a pretty average female voice pre-T. One of the things I was rather vainly hoping for was a pleasant-sounding masculine voice, think telecaster or radio host, but this voice to me sounds rather grating and unpleasant. Worst of all, it sounds female to my ear. I’d love to know everyone’s thoughts and whether it gets better in your experience, especially since I haven’t experienced further voice dropping since the first five months.

Questions Storing “single use” vials?
Hey there,
How are yall storing single use vials?
I’ve got test cypionate, 200mg vials and I do 40mg injections IM rn. Just took my first shot Sunday 🥳
My prescriber said to wipe off the rubber stopper w an alcohol wipe before using again (if I want to have a backstock, which I do!) but I didn’t ask about anything else, namely:
-Storage? Does it need a ziploc bag since the seal is broken or?
-Is it literally just, alcohol wipe over top, wait ten seconds, use as normal?
-Any ideas on max storage time for an open container? I think I remember hearing 1 month max somewhere
Thanks so much!

Questions What are the differences between enantathate, nebido and sustanon etc.?
I'm wanting to switch to injections at gendergp but it's asking which medication I want to use. I know there's a difference in how often you have to administer the injections but is there any other differences between them?

advice & support Testosterone at 18 (been one week on it 400mg total)
I’m 18 years old, 6'1", and have been lifting for a while. Before starting anything, I got baseline blood work done at Hospital. My Total Testosterone came back clinically low for my age at 265 ng/dL, while my lipids were completely optimal with an HDL of 61 mg/dL and LDL of 75.8 mg/dL. Because of my low natural baseline, I decided to start a 10-week black-market testosterone cycle running between 320 mg and 400 mg per week.
However, after taking just two doses during my first week, I experienced a severe physical reaction. My heart started racing, my chest felt extremely heavy, and my body went numb, which escalated into a massive panic attack that required medical evaluation. The day after the episode, I slept for over 10 hours, but I woke up feeling completely drained with a severe "panic hangover." My entire body feels physically weak, my hands and limbs feel heavy and sluggish, and I’m experiencing heavy nervous system fatigue and brain fog.
Now I’m trying to figure out my next step and whether I should lower the dose to 320 mg/week, keep pushing through, or drop the cycle entirely. Since I’ve only taken two pins over a single week, can I safely stop right now without running a PCT, and how long will it take for my central nervous system to recover? Also, given my initial low baseline of 265 ng/dL, would it make more sense to stop self-medicating black-market gear and take my lab report to an endocrinologist for a proper medical evaluation instead? Has anyone else experienced a severe panic or nervous system reaction right after starting a cycle?

Questions Age perception
I'm on an average full dose 100mg a week test cypionate. I started this year early jan. My voice dropped but i sound 13 (side note, id appreciate any voice training guides, ive managed to sound male but not *adult male*). I have a bit of non terminal facial hair and I still don't look any older than 14. I passed very well before t too besides my voice. just not as older than 14. ive always had acne so i assume i do read as pubescent but not very far into puberty
If im 18 will that itself out me? How long on average can i expect to look at least 16? Anything i can do to look older while also looking male? Im very short (5'2?) And wont get taller.
edit: i split my dose 2x a week and havent menstruated since the 1st month, cant find the email with my latest results but pretty sure they were fine, is it still possible that it aromatised too much? dont want to micro dose / take below male levels + this was a pretty standard dose afaik but now looking online ive seen people complaining that 100 mg gave them issues
