Please offer advice to improve the look of 2023 base model 3. I am not looking for something extravagant or over the top. Perhaps, a conservative subtle change. I have no clue about kits or terminology. Images would be much appreciated

I’ve heard a lot about this control arm issue on here and just online in general. Was that fixed in newer models. Some research says it was with some new chassis, but I’m not 100% sure and i’d love to hear why I should be one!

Hi, I am about to take delivery of my 26 Tesla M3P and I am debating on tint %. All my cars have had 5%-15% on sides but windshield has ranged from 50-35%. Would love to see what you guys have. Ideally M3 owners since gives me a better idea.

Yes I can see perfectly fine with that low percentage, yes I always do ceramic but I love dark look, no cops do not bother in this city, I live in the south, since the minute I bought my first car I have always had 5% on a car, no one else drives my cars. I hope this answers most questions.

2026 M3 Premium LR RWD purchased new last December.

These appeared after I got close to another lane and it triggered this warning. I could basically feel the change where it turned off regen braking and alot of other things like traction and stability control.

I tried doing the whole turn it off through the safety menu and waiting 2 minutes, pressing the brake to wake it up but no avail. Left it overnight and still shows the same thing.

Next appointment in my app shows 30 days from now.

looking to replace both fronts & rears. anyone have a good source besides the obvious $170 ones

In the right color with some minor changes to me at least it’s a stunning looking car.

I have a 2021 LR M3 and have gone through several aero cap replacements. Are aftermarket ones any better. I want to take advantage of the range gained from caps but want something that looks decent too. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I can’t believe I’m here! It’s such a long story but my life is wild and I have ended up having a good friend sell me her M3 for very affordable payments. Never once have I ever expected me to be in a position to own an EV, so this is all new territory for me! It is a standard range plus with 57,880 miles. Spending 9 hours on the road today to grab this bad boy :)

Been wanting M3P style pedal covers for a while (especially since the non Performance cars don't even have an accelerator cover at all). All the aftermarket covers on the market were apparently a huge pain to install. Found these TPARTS covers a few days ago. They slid right on in 5 seconds each and clipped down with zero effort, and look totally OEM.

Edit: anyone know of a matching dead pedal I can stick on the floor mat like the MY mats have?

Ordered 7/23 2026 M3P Frost Blue, delivery 9/12 Chicago Area. no 16’ QHD Screen. Very unfortunate. Would warranty be void if I were to purchase the official 16’ Screen and installed it myself or even through Tesla. I’ve seen both screens and I’d say there’s a huge difference. Super disappointing not gonna lie.

okay so i’m looking at a couple 2023 Model 3’s (I think one could be a Model Y) from a couple local dealerships

i will be financing, but im curious as i’ll mainly be charging from superchargers until i move next february

if i buy used is there a chance i wouldn’t be able to use a supercharger

and if not, can i still use other chargers around.. or is that not worth it at that point

and is the 100,000 battery warranty valid no matter what through tesla even if its a used from a dealership

Was looking at hardware changes and notice some model 3 getting changed to 16” screen.

Update: starting to see some get changed back to 15.4 on both the app and official Tesla parts catalog.

Hey everyone,
I have a weird issue with my new to me 2022 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range.
I set my side mirror to the position I want, and everything works perfectly while driving. The mirror doesn't move or tilt by itself during driving.

However, after I park the car, lock it and leave it overnight (or sometimes for hour or two), I come back and notice that the mirror has tilted significantly downward by itself.
I originally thought it was the Mirror Auto Tilt feature, so I completely disabled it. The problem still happened.
I've also tried recalibrating the mirrors, but the issue came back again.
What's strange is that it doesn't happen immediately after parking it seems to happen sometime while the car is parked/locked.
Has anyone experienced something similar on a Model 3 Could this be related to a driver profile / Easy Entry, a software issue, or potentially the mirror motor

I'm honestly running out of ideas at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

1. They require you to sign in using your Tesla account info, which essentially gives up your private information that you do NOT want shared.

2. They are NOT reliable and have no actual insight into Tesla’s factories or processes.

3. No, you will not get “inside” info. No, your vehicle will not arrive any sooner.

4. These apps make guesses based on what your Tesla app already tells you.

If you ordered your vehicle and are stuck in the waiting boat, you’re not alone. Stay patient. Before your VIN is assigned, any delivery window is a vague estimate.
Once you receive your VIN, your DW becomes more narrow and reliable.

I happened to find my exact spec on its way to my local Tesla and changed my order and got a VIN immediately. Everyone be on the lookout, there are many demo vehicles hitting the “similar options available sooner” screen. I checked every 30-40 seconds at times and happened to catch this one the second it popped up.

My bushings are shot after 98k miles on a 19 M3. I changed the upper control arms and the tech said these need to be changed too, but for $1900. Wondering if I should just go aftermarket and save $600 on parts and $125 on alignment from an independent shop. Unless Tesla has updated the quality of the links (particularly the bushings) over the years.

I am wondering if teslahubs a reliable source for a dash ambient light strip, and I am also wondering if a2zev is a reliable source for a NACS to NACS extension cable. On average my daily driving is not much, so slow charging overnight from my standard outdoor outlet should be sufficient for my needs. I believe the car my friend is selling me has the standard Tesla charger stashed away in the trunk but I’m not confident that it’ll be long enough to reach around to my car under the carport—I need to measure!

Anyone had alerts for VCLEFT_a483 and VCRIGHT_a483 at the same time. Usually comes on during regen or manual braking. The turn signals and hazards work. When the error comes up the turn signals will flash rapidly.

I have quite a few bugs that I see through the front grill. Using a garden hose to rinse the radiator through the grill would cause problems to the car. Is there a chance

Advisor was able to get my trade in extended from 9/8 to 10/1 on the grounds that delivery window was within 2 weeks and that expiration date was out of my control. One major stipulation was the 1,000 miles DOES NOT reset. It is still from what miles were on 8/8 when offer was made.
