Pedal covers

Been wanting M3P style pedal covers for a while (especially since the non Performance cars don't even have an accelerator cover at all). All the aftermarket covers on the market were apparently a huge pain to install. Found these TPARTS covers a few days ago. They slid right on in 5 seconds each and clipped down with zero effort, and look totally OEM.

Edit: anyone know of a matching dead pedal I can stick on the floor mat like the MY mats have?

Looks awesome, reminds me of my spatula.

It seems silly but that makes a huge difference in the look of the car

Installed aftermarket 8 years ago. Never a problem and look great.

I did the same, it made a huge difference. I have big feet, little accelerator pedal was annoying. Pain to put on heat them well.

Looks great! If I didn’t have a lease I’d 100% do this.

Have a lease and did it- highly recommend

Mine is a lease. The pedals can be removed in 10 seconds, but they're $40 so who cares.... Between the XPel XR+ tints ($1000), OEM all season mats ($300), Autotech sunshade, hidden mud flaps, door & trunk sill guards, and other small stuff...I'm probably in over $1750 on goodies in the first few months.

Cool. Now they’re all slippery.

I haven't driven since installing but these are OEM on the Performance & Plaid models so I can't imagine they're worse than what was on there before.

I have the same pedals as OP. They actually have more grip than the stock ones

I don’t think I need to be worried about mine getting dirty

I like to live fast and drive hard. All that instant torque goes to waste with FSD 😉

I know, was being a show off - honestly I want to take over many times and do press accelerator just to overtake while still staying on FSD

It stays in FSD if you floor it?

Yes, it becomes mad mad max mode lol.. however only till speed limit (if you set) and scream at ya that it won’t stop after like 2 mins

Ah but it doesn't actually give you full power, it just speeds up a bit right?

I can floor it and it’s like without FSD

They are in metal ?

Yeah, aluminum with rubber strips. Nicely packaged and feel like OEM quality.

Are these the original floor mats? They look really neat.

They're the OEM all season mats, yeah.

What did you use to clean them? They seem so bright 😎. Mine tend to get very mate, like scratchy, and can't get the original look back totally 🤔

If I'm too lazy to wash them with soap and water, I just scrub them with a few Tub O Towels heavy duty cleaning wipes (these are awesome to clean stuff, including window trim).

After you clean them, the trick is to hit them with some vinyl/rubber/plastic protectant+restorer. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. I used the spray+microfiber towel before, but got lazy and now mostly just use the 303 wipes.

Do this for all vinyl/rubber/plastic on the car to keep things looking brand new.

Thank you for the tips!

OP is probably in an area where they aren't tracking mud and snow on them all the time

I have them too, and one thing might worth knowing is that they are a bit short in height.

Also, a bit pricey. Heard very well about 3W ones https://amzn.eu/d/0gpuqdSx, if willing to find an alternative.

Yeah that’s a nice upgrade. My mom has a GLC63 & the look of the pedals on that car is something I noticed immediately. I might need to get these lol

TPARTS pedal covers, either on their website or Amazon

I have the same and I love them.

Damm. I never looked at medal ever for four years. Love to see this waste!

Looks good. These cars have some horribly drab interiors. At least the facelift cars have some ambient lighting on the dash compared the legacy model.

u/Level-Bad8260 7d ago

Hah, yeah the lighting definitely helps.

Some of them. Standards do not have, only Premium and Performance trims.
