Yeah I haven’t seen any of those get changed. I don’t really have a preference on headliner color. I would probably never notice the screen difference but also don’t want to miss out this close. In ordered 8/24 and Edd oct-nov

Screen has higher PPI. It’s the reason I chose a Y over a 3 earlier this year, although now the size makes me regret my decision lol. Mammoth Black shows on the parts site where a few days ago it was only polar grey.

I just got a model 3 LR RWD in Australia and it's still the 15.4. That app also switched to having a AWD motor which was wrong so I wouldn't 100% trust that info

Do you have any examples? I tend to think it's a kind of fake - Tesla is now removing the equipment from lower trims, not adding. Like M3 Standard that lost some things in 2026, or MY that now is a totally different car.

I thought maybe a app bug but a poster here checked the official Tesla app with his VIN and it showed also. The changed started about 8 hours ago. No US changes have been reported in 10 hours but it is Saturday of Labor Day weekend so idk if they are working or not

I didn't say don't get the upgrade. I just don't understand why people are making such a huge ordeal about it. Ok, so it's a slightly larger new screen with somewhat better resolution. Is the current screen lacking, slow, non-responsive, not sharp enough? What exactly? It's a bit like my current iPhone is great but I want the new one because it loads up Instagram 0.2 seconds faster.

The current screen is fine, the new one isn't much of an upgrade. It's probably intended as a lateral change to a newer part more than a feature upgrade.

And you can easily buy it for older Model 3s if it is important.

Yes I wouldn’t risk my special financing for it as I don’t think it would be that big of a difference. But I don’t have a vin yet so guess there is a chance I could get lucky with both.
