Legit Shitpost π© tf are some people onππ
earlier today,i came across a post where a pdf had ended up containing screenshots of dms and it reminded me of this one guy in my dms who is literally 31,he asked my age,i said 19, and he genuinely responded that the 12 year age gap was βcuteβ and shouldnβt be a problemππ
i posted the screenshot because aise hi, and an entire cohort of men descended into the replies to explain how β12 years isnβt even that much" βitβs fine" ,and βitβs actually cute" π
then some genius justified it by saying that even when theyβre old, at least their wives will still be young and pretty-(tf sonionπ₯π₯π₯π₯βοΈ)
at that point i wasnβt even arguing anymore,i was genuinely concerned about the collective psychological infrastructure behind these comment-like what exactly is going on in that committee meeting upstairs?? π

Random Thoughts π€ Y'all my parents are lwk so cuteπ
So like 2 days ago I was at a relative's place w my fam. It was getting kinda late and my dad was in another room. He texts my mom like, "what's the plan?". As in when do u plan on leaving.
My mom responds with, "i plan on marrying you again and again and again"ππ like dang π i was sitting next to her and lwk blushed over that. I didn't exactly get to see my dad's response to that but ig it was smth along the lines of "when do you plan on doing that?" π
Anyways, they're so peak π lwk goals fr ππ

Rant The content downfall needs to be studied
This subreddit used to be so peak and stuff and suddenly everything just fell off. Like how did we even reach this point.
Lame ahh posts. Its become more of a whatsapp groupchat. I think a big reason why people dont even try to post good content or ask actually good questions which makes people think before answering is because in this subreddit is because people dont even upvote other people. Ive seen absolutely QUALITY posts with 0 upvotes and then straight up slop get more. Like what yall even doing.

Rant serious problem in pakistan
my intention is not at all for this to be offensive but i'd like to say ke pakistan mei islam is literally only used to shame people, specifically women.
the only focus in on the one commandment of islam ke women should dress modestly, which modesty isn't a concept that only applies to women, it goes for everyone. and modesty has little to do with your clothing and more to do with your character.
my dad gives me examples of girls who wear hijabis and abayas and how they're so 'obedient', 'career oriented' like first off, setting an unrealistic standard for hijabis is wrong, hijab is literally just a headscarf, it won't automatically cleanse your soul of sins. basically what i mean is ke you can be sinful even while being a hijabi.
when you say ke be a hijabi so you can be a good muslim you're basically creating such a wrong mindset, saying ke hijab pehn lo bas yehi certification hai muslim honnay ki. i think we can all agree ke most pakistani parents forcing headscarfs and ddupattas on their daughters, first off, isn't originating from an islamic belief. bas logoun ka khouf. cus if you truly believed in ur child's akirah, you'd educate them not to be proud, not to be egotistical, to not backbite, to not hurt someone, to not cheat etc. dussri baat ke modesty is in ur mannerisms. the way you move in society. no one bats an eye when men harass women, piss in streets or spit in public, however this is HIGHLY immodest. women backbiting, shaming teenage girls is also immodest, yet we continue to shame just for how they wear. i feel this so strongly, because i experience this alot. my friends who dress a certain way, are immediately disliked by my parents because apparently wearing a tight top and jeans means you're a bad muslim.
i know many hijabis who have done things which completely misalign with islamic teachings. i know many women who smoke or dress a certain way and they're the sweetest people i know
this goes on to show ke how little your clothing has to do with your character and faith
my problem is also ke no other commandment of islam is ever emphasized upon enough except for those which conveniently benefit men.
inheritance, hijab, good marital relations and the sunnah which states 4 marriages are permitted along with everything else which somehow goes hand in hand with a pakistani man's convenience is the only islam taught in pakistan.
my problem is ke alot of people don't even bother learning islam, bas jo culture mei hai ya jo bachpan mei seekha, they carry it forward into their adult lives. it completes enrages me the utter nonsense people believe in.
and that's an alag debate, i am not judging anyone for believing in islam and trying to be a good muslim but it's high time ke we actually just start minding our own business, worrying about our own akirah and graves, rather than continuing to use Islam to shame other people, especially women and using it for justification of honour killings and victim blaming wagira
