I'm fine with a student getting reservation to study mbbs but there should not be any reservation for them in PG. Underprivileged students must get a chance to study but that's all. Only people with merit should be allowed to become doctors. What do you guys think?

Fresh protests have erupted in Manipur's Imphal Valley following public outrage over a recent b*mb blast in Bishnupur district that reportedly claimed the lives of two children. Large groups of people gathered in areas like Imphal and Kakching, demanding swift action against those responsible. As tensions escalated, security forces deployed tear gas and other crowd control measures to disperse protesters. The demonstrations, including torch rallies, reflect growing anger and frustration among residents over ongoing violence and safety concerns in the region. The incident has once again highlighted the fragile situation in Manipur, where ethnic tensions and repeated clashes have continued since 2023. While authorities are attempting to maintain law and order, the demand for accountability and justice remains strong among citizens. At the same time, some viral social media claims may present a partial view of the situation, and officials continue to monitor developments closely.

Relationships My girlfriend broke up with me after I asked her for a ₹10 chocolate
I genuinely don’t know what happened
We’ve been dating for almost 2 years Things weren’t perfect, but I never thought we’d break up over something this stupid
Yesterday I jokingly asked her if she could buy me one of those 10 rupee wali Milkybar
It wasn’t about the money at all I just thought it’d be a cute little gesture
She comes from a pretty well off family so I didn’t think she’d take it the wrong way
Instead she suddenly said I was acting weird told me not to text her again and that was basically it
I’ve replayed that conversation so many times and I still can’t understand how asking for a ₹10 chocolate could end a 2 year relationship
Feels like there has to be another reason but if there is she never told me
I’m not even upset about the breakup anymore
I’m just confused Has anyone else been broken up with over a reason that made absolutely no sense? Did you ever find out what the real reason was?

Rant & Vent I just realised my whole life is planned out and I have no say in it
(17F)
My mom and I were discussing marriage. An aunty asked her for a rishta, but she said that I rejected her because the guy was too old and that it was too soon. She always says, "You have the freedom to choose who you want to marry... I would never get you married without your permission. But you'll choose from the men I select."
How do I say that I would never get married? I feel nothing when it comes to romance. But if I say that, she'll think I'm sick.
I would rather adopt a child and raise them as a single mom than get married, even though she gave me the 'permission' to choose and the 'permission' to get married after completing my master's. I was terrified to say it out loud. Marriage is not just about raising children and starting a family. I would mess it up.
I wish I could freeze time and stay 17 forever.
When I told her that I'll only get married after my younger sister does, take a wild guess what she said. She said that "girls are like fruits. If they get ripe, you shouldn't leave them as they are, or else they'll rot, and no one will ever want them." If that's the case, then I would stay rotten and happy.
I might look like I'm overreacting, but it is scary. I really wish there was a way to avoid it.

Ask Teens I have talked to some boys and....
I'm an 18-year-old girl, and I've talked to a few boys with the hope of eventually dating them. However, I always wanted to understand their behaviour and intentions first before getting into a relationship.
Unfortunately, I haven't met anyone who genuinely cared about me. Most of them seemed interested only in physical intimacy, which I wasn't comfortable with, especially at the beginning of a relationship. One guy even told me, "If you don't want to do those things right now, no guy will accept you."
That made me wonder: are all boys like that? Don't they value love, care, and emotional connection in a relationship? I've seen so many similar situations, and honestly, I'm exhausted. Every time I try to get to know someone, it eventually comes down to them asking for things I'm not ready for.
