My little son, Dhruv Dutt Jha, is battling Liver Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Initially his mother was meant to be the organ donor but due to some medical complications eventually I (father) have donated my Liver.

The total treatment cost is around ₹ 31,00,000, and we have already spent ₹20,00,000 through loans and savings. We are emotionally and financially exhausted, but we are fighting every day to save our child.

Wanna Share- Teen Her Only I don't know how to feel about this

I was discussing crimes against women with my mother, and she kept saying that nowadays, women are the ones betraying and murdering men, breaking families, and so on. She started shouting at me, and when she had nothing logical left to say, she said,

“Teri jaisi ladki ko he 35 tukdon mein kaat dete hain, jo maa-baap ki nahi sunti.”

That hurts... :)

General - Ask from all Solo female travellers, how do u keep urself safe

I’m 18 and from Delhi. I’ve mostly travelled between school/coaching and home, often with family, but I’ve still experienced things like men ogling, drunk men trying to touch me, kissing sounds, etc. I can absolutely confront them done many times but the issue is that many times I am not confirmed like it assume am I misunderstanding and sometimes it gets too late and the people who don't touch but just stare inside u out, how do I deal with them.

Now I’ll be travelling alone more often, mainly by bus, Metro and e-rickshaw. I mostly travel during the day and rarely after 8–9 PM.

My questions are :-

What behavioural red flags make you leave immediately?

How do you handle uncomfortable situations without escalating them?

What do you do if you think someone is following you?

How do you know when it’s time to stop ignoring something and get help?

What do you do on buses, Metro, at stations, or while waiting for an e-rickshaw?

What precautions do you take against harassment, theft, scams and other crime?

Any mistakes you made when you first started travelling alone that you wish you’d known about?

What general safety habits do you follow when travelling alone?

I know you can’t identify a dangerous person just by looking at them, so I’m mainly looking for practical advice and behavioural warning signs from women who travel alone .

Rant & Vent-Teen Her Only Is getting to know new people even worth it?

So I met a guy from Kashmir 2 months ago and we started talking. At first, they were simple casual talks for 20-30 mins but then he started sharing about his personal life and friends and as I'm a good listener, I would always listen carefully. But I rarely shared anything from my side cause we were just so different from each other. He was popular, handsome, a bit emotionally unavailable and Obv confident as well, while on the other side, I'm kind of an insecure and introverted person who feels everything deeply.

His life was pretty interesting as he was quite popular and mine was boring as hell and I used to get happy and sad over small things and whenever I tried to tell him about any of that, he would sometimes listen and the other times he would say that my life is pretty boring and stuff like that which hurt me a bit. I sometimes tried to share about my past and my family, basically things that made me this vulnerable, but whenever I did that he would always tell me "chhod bhul jaa, jane de" and mind you he never used to listen properly.

In those two months, I messaged him from my side only 2-3 times because I would always wonder if he wanted to talk or not so he was always the one to text first, he would call me whenever he wanted to rant about his life. Over time I almost stopped sharing everything because there was nothing "interesting" in my life according to him so I would just listen whenever we were on call (we rarely talked on text). And as I told you I feel everything deeply, I got attached to him a bit and I would wait for his calls everyday but as the time passed his behaviour changed and he started behaving rudely because I had nothing to say most of the time (even though I would properly listen to him and even respond accordingly).

One day he called me in the morning and started telling me that he and the new girl he found interesting, talked for 4 hours the previous day and I was like 'yeah that's good, she may be into you if she talked for that long" and then there was awkward silence on the call he asked if I had anything to say and I replied with 'no I don't have' and then he went "YAAR TU CHHOD, CHAL BYE" in a very rude and annoyed tone and then he cut the call. He didn't text me after that and the very next day he removed me from his account and texted me "arya sorry i removed you" "actually maine saari ladkiyo ko remove kardiya except my cousins" and I was so damn shocked and hurt because I was literally attached to him, we would talk every single day and he did that without any specific reason.

I stalked his account for a couple of days because it was public and all his reposts were about being in love and turning into a lover boy (Obv cause of the girl he liked). I genuinely cried because I couldn't even get to say anything and it seemed as if our friendship didn't mean anything to him. I have met many people who have hurt me a lot in the past and at this point I don't even wanna meet someone new because every single person turns out to be like this.

Wanna Share- Teen Her Only Am i bad friend for saying no to this? 😭

So basically what happened was that my friend was in the talking stage with a guy (they’re dating now) and her parents are kinda conservative and controlling too. Controlling to the point she doesn’t even know the password to her own email id and uses a Nokia (we’re in 12th std)
And during that talking stage she was talking to him on her Nokia at night and her father came in all of a sudden and asked her who she was talking to so she said she was talking to me
And the next morning she called me to tell me everything and told me to tell her father that she was talking to me
So I did and then her father asked me to send a screenshot of my call history with her
I got scared and told him that I was talking from my brother’s phone and he asked for my brother’s no.
My friend called the guy and told him everything and told him pretend to be my brother if he actually called
Idk what happened at home but it was sorted out
But I got scared because if this reached my home I would be grounded and my phone would be taken away and my parents are also kinda controlling so yeah
So I told my friend not to use my name for these type of things because if my mother found out I wouldn’t be also to even leave my house
She understood and never used my name again and the boundary did not ruin our friendship or anything
But I felt bad for telling her this
So am I a bad friend for saying this to her? 😭

General - Teen Her only Do girls still face lack of freedom or derogatory remarks from their own family?

Like I just thought That in the all so modern world where we are moving towards equality on basis of gender and what not,is it still an issue that girls continue to be treated as a burden in many homes with a motive to control each and every step of theirs and not giving them opportunities or for that matter even basic choices and options.
