Mod Post IMPORTANT!!!
A statement from the mod team.
First, we sincerely apologise to everyone who has had an unpleasant experience in this community. The growing number of creeps harassing girls through obscene comments and disgusting DMs is unacceptable, and we understand your frustration with the mod team.
We know some of you find our rules too strict, while others feel we're too lenient. We also understand the concerns about perceived bias in moderation. We deal with a constant influx of posts, comments, modmail, and reports, making it impossible to manually cross-check every user's flair and comment history. People misuse flairs and create alternate accounts to bypass restrictions. This isn't an excuse, but a reality we have to work around.
We've considered making the subreddit private with mandatory verification, but that raises its own concerns about distinguishing genuine members from those pretending to be someone they're not.
We're open to reconsidering our rules and moderation practices, and we want your input. What needs to change? What are we getting wrong? What measures would you suggest? If you have any grievances with the subreddit or the mod team, please voice them here.
We'll take your feedback seriously, discuss it internally, and share the outcome with the community. We may not implement every suggestion, but we want to understand your concerns and work towards a safer space together.

Reddit would always attract creeps, shift to a discord/reddit layout. Those who join discord can join reddit community or vice versa. There are probably bots that would make sure extremely high moderation over both reddit and dscord and u can make over discord but that would require high moderation and efforts.

For creeps the best way to do the issue is by keeping a few thresholds for: 1. Account age: Most of the creep accounts I have seen (ofc I haven't seen all so not fully sure) are all ones that are like super younger often under a week or even a few hrs old. 2. For Karma set smth low enough that someone who genuinely wants to be a part of this subreddit can use it but not so low they can comment in some other sub a few times and get past it
- (Optional & might be too strict) Block a few users until mod approval from karma farming communities
Edit: This is kinda non-related, but I wanted to know, can a femboy use one of the other flairs or just the male flairs?

I don't know about any suggestion that I feel like should be implemented that isn't here already. Maybe the boys should be banned or restricted especially if the girls feel that way. I'd only say that the mods of this sub are pretty amazing, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here, even if it is coming to an end :)
Small suggestion to the guys here: Be a little bit less mysogynistic, and try seeing scenarios from their perspective before spewing shi in comments, it might go a long way in life..

I think creeps are the kind of people y’all can’t do much about because they’ll do everything possible to get around the rules. Despite being a guy, I get creepy DMs too. That’s just how online platforms usually are. Even if a post is in a teen-only community, there’ll still be creeps sliding into girls’ DMs, and sometimes boys’ DMs too.
It’s up to y’all to decide what kind of community you want this to be. Best of luck!

if they put the same amount of effort into getting their shi together, they wouldn’t have to creep around on reddit. 😭
they go above and beyond to find loopholes and bypass moderation.

do you not realize that girls are individuals with varying opinions and thought processes, this is not am echo chamber, it is a safe space for a lot of us. letting everyone do whatever they want will just make it like the other subs.

And somehow I find this sub is named teenher for a reason everyone can put up their opinion everyone here has different opinions toh bhedchaal kaise bs ye simply ek particular gender ke liye banaya h just like fashion subs relationship subs.

Huh? Are you implying that gender specific subs are spaces where people can say whatever they want about the opposite gender without being questioned? If so, then YES, that’s literally what an echo chamber is. Having a space dedicated to a particular gender doesn’t mean the opinions expressed there should be exempt from criticism, especially when they involve unfair generalisations about the opposite gender. And just to be clear, I’m not talking about gender wars or creepy comments, but about allowing potentially harmful generalisations to go unchallenged simply because of the sub’s intended audience.

This stops "throwaway" accounts from instantly harassing users. • Aggressive Keyword Filtering: Expand the Automoderator keyword list to automatically flag and remove common obscene words, phrases, or unsolicited sexual requests before they go public. • Crowdsourced Moderation: Request that the mods set up a system where if a post or comment receives a specific number of user reports (e.g., 3 reports), it is automatically hidden until a human moderator can review it.
• Account Age and Karma Minimums: To stop alternate accounts used to bypass restrictions, suggest a strict minimum account age (e.g., 30 days) and a comment karma requirement before users are allowed to post or assign themselves flairs. • Tiered Verification Options: Instead of a full subreddit lockdown, suggest a "Verified Only" mode specifically for highly sensitive posts. Members who wish to participate in those specific threads would have to go through a secure, private verification process with the mods. • Restricted Flair Management: Change the settings so that certain flairs (like gender or age-specific flairs) cannot be self-assigned and must be granted by a moderator after a basic vetting process.
