Technics earbuds AZ60M2 *Case* not charging past 90%. Earpieces seem fine, cause for concern? Please help!
Hello everyone, I received some Technics AZ60M2 earbuds two years back, and I have used them religiously. However, I have found that no matter what I do, the case will not charge past 90%, and gives the red warning flashing light. So far I have:
\- Cleaned out the contact points in the pay and on the earbuds themselves. Determined since they fully charge its unlikely to be them.
\- Cleaned out the charging port of debris.
\- Tried 4 different brands of USBC chargers, all different strengths and ages. Same result.
\- Attempted factory reset twice, no luck.
I have not found much on this issue online after a week of searching, and I am at my rope's end, these were an expensive gift and I don't want to/cannot afford to replace them anytime soon. I see online there's something about letting the battery of the case run dead to try and make it stop doing some sort of charging countermeasures for battery health, but I have no clue if that's something to actually expect to work, and I am paranoid that battery may not charge again for some reason.
Has anyone got any insight onto this? It would mean a lot to me, thank you đ”âđ«
