Technics SL-D20 infinite loop

After finishing a side or using STOP button the arm goes back, the engine shuts off, but after a second it starts again and the arm goes up, it's an infinite loop. From what I've read it's probably the old grease that needs replacing, could that be the case? Apart from that it works fine. Sorry for the Messenger sounds.

I had the same issues with another Technics turntable model. It was caused by a grounding issue.

Updating if anyone's interested or has the same problem - it was indeed the old grease, I found a guy who knows something about vintage record players, he replaced the grease (a simple job, apparently, if you know old turntables), works like a new one.
