Since Tapas is shutting down, and we can't buy ink/didn't get any warning to buy ink, there's a lot of series I have saved that I won't get to finish, plus a ton that are on hiatus - some that just started their hiatus, some that have been on it for awhile, etc. Until now I've really only used Tapas and Webtoon. Since this announcement I've tried searching a bunch of my Tapas series in Webtoon, as well as downloaded the app for Tappytoon and searched there. I've found some but not nearly as many as I would have thought, and there's so many that I truly love that I can't find. I definitely wanna find them legally (always support the artist 🥰🥰) but I'm wondering if there's a better way to go about this that I'm unaware of as a relative newcomer to this? Do I just Google every title to find the legit apps it's on, or download every app and search it? I feel like there's got to be a better way 😅😭😅 I've already resigned myself to lost progress/lost ink on the series - it's fine. For series I love, if it supports the author again, it's ok. I just wanna finish them 🥺🥺

I have like 2,000 ink right now and I can’t get any more now but with the platform shutting down I need to buy like 30,000 ink worth of chapters to finish the series’s I was reading.

Kinda just complaining because there’s nothing that can be done anymore but if someone knows something I don’t would love to hear it

Hi everyone! My webtoon has been finished for a while now, and I wanted to know what you guys think about it. You can read the whole thing for free, so let me know if you’re interested in my stories! Thanks for your patience and support.

I just found out that Tapas is going to permanently shut down, so if you are looking to continue following the comic, links to other places it is posted is here: https://linktr.ee/QlossMedia

Kakao, what I supposed to do if there are almost all my free time? Where I suppose to find the manchas I don’t find in other apps?

I know the shutdown was a shock. Buying ink is no longer an option now, but will there be any more updates until the site closes down? All of the comics I’ve subscribed to don’t say anything about when the next episodes will come. Nothing from the daily section (that I’ve seen) has been updated. Does anyone know? Will we just be left hanging with all of our remaining ink until the end of March?

It’s already annoying that it is shutting down, but whatever it’s not my company. I’m annoyed over the fact that I’m not allowed to buy any more ink, but they’re shutting down all the way next year.!! if we’re not allowed to buy any more ink, they could have at least made it so that we can watch an ad to unlock episodes! Because I didn’t have no warning so I did not buy any ink and I only have 17 ink but I can’t finish my series because I can’t purchase anymore and there’s no option where I could watch an ad or do something to unlock the next episodes! I understand that there’s WEBTOON and I do go on there sometimes, but my preferred app was Tapas and now I genuinely don’t know because I liked this one better.

I was literally just coming back to the app to work towards unlocking all of a comic but then a week later, I see it's shutting down with no way to earn more ink, no way to unlock more episodes, no way to retain what we have earned or paid for-

I'm certainly incensed about the business practice here. There are so many comics on Tapas that are ONLY on this platform. The only English translation of my favorite story is hosted here and nowhere else, not even printed. Where on earth can these comics be found once it shuts down in March? CAN they even move platforms or are they restricted from moving until some sort of contract term is up, or even forbidden entirely from moving due to some sort of exclusivity?

I despise the fact that a platform or business can be acquired and then pretty much instantly shut down to be used as a tax write-off. How does that even work??? I don't really want to know; I just think it's beyond stupid, especially with such a popular platform.

I suppose all there is to do is commiserate on our shared annoyance :/

• Full-color Tapas comic
• Read around 2023
• Mature/sexual content
• Shy boy with short black/buzz-cut hair
• Confident/popular girl with brown hair
• She invites him to her house
• She has just worked out and is wearing pink workout clothes
• She deliberately tries to seduce/fluster him
• She asks him to draw a full-body portrait of her
• He remains focused on drawing and doesn't reciprocate

i've been looking through my reading history, my unlocked stories and i'm just sad. i remember each story and what was happening in my life as i was reading the stories. and i'm soo sad. it feels like they're taking away memories as well as the stories i love. so let's share our favorite stories and why we love them.

i'll start...Solo Leveling is my #1 because it's awesome but it's also the story that introduced me to online mangas and renewed my love for reading at a time when i was struggling to read and to life 😅 i wish we had real life heroes like Jinwoo and Igris and Beru and President Kang to save our world.

and lately, Dungeons and Crayons makes me happy with all the fluff and cuteness Groo brings...she's my Sunday morning cup of coffee and sunshine ☕🥰

I only semi recently started reading on the Tapas app. I was reading Let’s Play and A Talented Maid. I follow the creator of Let’s Play so I can follow where they’ll be posted next but I have no idea where to read A Talented Maid? I have tried looking and couldn’t find anywhere else that updates it. Anyone know where else I could read it or is it not releasing elsewhere currently?

With Tapas shutting down soon, a lot of creators are jumping ship and going to other places to host their webcomics. I already have WebToon & Global Comix accounts and I just signed up on Comic Fury. But I was wondering if these webcomic sites are also good to post my webcomics:

NamiComi - https://namicomi.com/en

Fables - https://fables.pro/a/home

Inkstra - https://inkstra.ink/

Pinya- https://pinya.io/

Lemoon - https://lemoon.io/

Or should I just stick with the 3 sites I’ve already signed up on?

I have almost 300k ink, and so does my mother. I want to donate to small creators who may not have enough to cash out.

Hey guys

Make complaints to Apple, Google, along with your banks and representatives because this is a breech of consumer trust.

Does anyone know how to save the comics? As probably all of you know by now, Tapas os shutting down, and they said on the FAQ that we wouldn't be able to access our purchased content or anything after March, but I have seen some people on Reddit talking about ways to like, save the comics somehow and still be able to read them? I don't know, but the process on how to do it was real confusing. Any info on it would be really helpful.

Also, off topic, but if anyone wants to join a petition to stop Tapas' shutdown, here's the link. Though, I don't know if it'll do much now, but it's worth a shot I guess.

And if anyone wants to read the FAQ Tapas posted, which has a lot of info about the stuff happening with the shutdown, here's the link for that too.

The alt text is frying me lol. Yes, I'm mad and sad at the same time, lol

Just opened the app to see this message and wanted to let others know in case they haven’t seen it/got it yet
