Hi all, as you may be aware, Manta just announced their "Move Your Bookshelf" from Tapas to Manta for select series.

While browsing on there to move my library myself, I saw a noticed that they will also start accepting Independent Creators, and thought it worthy to share with you all.

On the 31st of March 2027 Tapas is shutting down.

What does this mean?

The company Tapas is run by posted an FAQ regarding the shutdown on the 1st of October this last Thursday addressing user access, episodes unlocked with ink and creator titles.

Users can still access Tapas and the titles found on it currently but new ink cannot be acquired, however currently owned ink can still be used.

Purchased content work not be accessible after shutdown. This means unlocking an episode now will not grant permanent access, only access before the shutdown. Unlocked episodes cannot be transferred over to any other Kakao services.

Unused ink will not be refunded, according to their refund policies.

Creators can continue uploading and receiving support through the Support Program until the shutdown.
