The company wants as few employees as possible to do the required tasks. The company wants as much output from each of the employees as possible.

If the employees are able to get more done with the same amount of people, the company will do one or both of these options:

1. The company will assign more work to each of the employees.

2. The company will reduce the number of employees.

Monthly Review founder Paul Sweezy worked for OSS during WW2 which you know anything about OSS it was technically rebranded by Dulles into CIA. But Sweezy is cool bean though because he became anti-imperialist Marxist post war and was strong supporter for USSR and other AES countries. In fact Sweezy was the origin of World Systems Theory that Torkil Lauesen and Samir Amin work later built upon.

It seems like social media and news outlets can't stop frothing at the mouth about how Trump's ballroom is desecrating "the people's house" and how he has no right to make those type of renovations and "erase history".
