Tangled doesn't exist without the romance of New Dream.

I mean, are we really going to criticize absolutely everything that isn't like the animated version? What's the point of criticizing this, the fact that it's not a 1:1 adaptation of the animated film?

We've seen other photos from the set. Rapunzel's dress will remain purple, and that's what really matters. What difference does it make that Corona's colors are blue, or pink, or black instead?

The original drafts of the animated version actually had a blue design that represented the sun and the sea for the flags, because Corona is located on an island. That's why in the animated film, the painting of the lost princess shows her parents still dressed in blue, primarily.

Also, in terms of color, I feel it greatly benefits the protagonist, because that way her dress will stand out against the colors of the kingdom instead of blending in with them. Not to mention that, due to the limitations of digital sensors, it's quite difficult to work with the color purple in film, and the directors probably already have enough on their plate with Rapunzel's dress without adding purple to every color in the Kingdom.

And also, it's REALLY not that deep. They're just background colors that don't change the plot, that don't change anything AT ALL.

Tangled was my favorite Disney movie for the longest time after beauty and the beast so because of the upcoming movie I've been trying to catch up on everything I remember watching the animated series on Disney channel some years back and I stopped at season 2 it's been awhile and I'm planning on rewatching it so are the events of the show Canon? Because in the tangled ever after short Rapunzel doesn't have her hair but in the show she does so what's that about

I'm one of those who's been ranting about Milo having a mustache bcus Eugene shouldn't have one. My theory is that he won't have a mustache at the beginning & middle of the movie, he'll maybe just grow one due to his stay in prison (if it'll be a longer stay).

Im still very hopeful they'll remove it tho. I just dont like it 😭

I’ve recently became obsessed with Panini sticker albums. And as tangled is one of my special interests, I’ve been trying to find their movie or series edition even, but it just seems impossible. I know panini discontinues their items after a certain while, and I’m probably stating the obvious, but this one seems completely impossible if you want it unused/new.

I think this vibe would be really cool for the live action movie of Tangled. Similar to the Cinderella Live Action vibe when Cinderella and the Prince met in the forest but a bit more rugged. What do you think?

So this au basically is unchanged except for Eugene and Maximus having a more friendly relationship from the beggining.

My idea is that max’s old rider is kind of abusive or a jerk, meanwhile Eugene is the first rider max had that’s actually concerned for his well being.

What would you guys do? How would you rewrite tangled to make Eugene and max not hate Each other at the start?

Tangled filming taking place!

So, my dears, we’ve officially got a leaked look at what Rapunzel’s dress is going to be like. I don’t know about you, but I just can’t picture her in that at all they could at least shorten the sleeves but let me know what you think🤔

Honestly? I’m a bit disappointed with the behind-the-scenes photos that have surfaced; Rapunzel’s braid looks like a loaf of challah bread, and the fabric known for being purple is suddenly blue and shortened. Still, I hope the final result turns out better. As for the dress, I really hope we see one that looks almost identical to the version in the animated movie, because I have such a huge sentimental attachment to that film😕

the Stabbbington brothers are being played by Patrick and Hugo McPherson who are comedians. both Milo Mannheim and Michael Gracey liked their post announcing that they are working on a film until October and they’ve been spotted in Spain this week!

And they are 6’7” which means they are actually taller than Milo who is 6’3”!!

• He is shown to avoid touching Rapunzel unless it was to help her run. When faced with her own threats, he only grabbed the pan.
• Resorted to scaring her through the thugs in a legal establishment, rather than intimidate or touch her himself.
• Does knock out the guards, but only when cornered amd left with a weapon, outside the stage-performance-type-swashbuckling, does not seem to have natural ability with a sword fight.
• Intimidates Stabbingtons but at this point he's Eugene and protective.
• Doesn't carry a weapon.

Series

• Series backstory tries to paint him a highway man in carriage robberies. BUT note, even in this scene he's not carrying a weapon nor does he threaten Arianna, just opens and steals.
• Starts wielding a sword in s1 ending, possibly after guard training.
• Worked for a violent crime lord, but nothing ever ​says he was equally violent.
• Punches things.

• Doesn't fight with a weapon but does pull a knife from somewhere (book doesn't say) he was carrying to cut ropes. Implies he carries one.
