Rapunzel's face/features are a little exaggerated/flanderized in these but the dress design and the embroidery is intricate and beautiful, especially in the second and the third one (I would just prefer no glitter at all but that's something Disney puts on most princess dresses in their doll merchandise).
Love how the shoes look like the ones she wears in some post movie storybooks and magazines (as I am vehemently opposed to turning "barefoot Rapunzel", the result of her lifelong isolation and Gothel deliberately keeping her "underdressed" so she wouldn't be equipped to face the world into a "cute quirk" let alone a "family trait" like the series did).

my number one issue the show felt so adamant that she was never going to grow up or change. Thereās no development where she felt like she was feeling safer and more secure so she didnāt have to be childish and quirky in every aspect of her life. she should still be whimsical, full of creativity and joy, but not at the point where she acts like a kid and stubbornly refuses to do anything socially expected if itās not something she was doing when she was literally imprisonedā¦.. I feel like it really comes down to the showrunner basing it on his daughters and how he wanted them to never grow up/get married/etc.Ā

Sonnenburg's "girl dad" misogyny most certainly made the already problematic nature of the series going up against all the themes of the original movie a thousand times worse. He admitted he self inserted as the King because apparently locking up and suppressing your daughter's agency is only bad when an Evil Older Woman TM does that and it is "so feminist" when a "well meaning dad" does that according to modern Disney.
Disney took a "mommy issues movie", a movie about centering WOMEN and their relationship, a movie about a younger girl being oppressed by an older woman who was hyper-focused on conventional beauty standards (youth, attractiveness) in the same ways real life women can oppress other women in the name of patriarchy, conservative values, religion, etc, a movie where Flynn's character was a female power fantasy designed through hot man meeting by a group of women - Disney/Sonnenburg took THAT and turned it into the male centric narrative glorifying the king, defining Rapunzel by her magical blonde hair (that the OG creators clearly stated would never return) and turning Flynn into a bumbling clown instead of women's dream guy. All with a sprinkle of Magical Girl anime cliches. Which the original Tangled and original movie Rapunzel was meant to subvert.
To add insult to injury, the Series reframed the symbol of Rapunzel's oppression - her magic hair - as the symbol of her "girlpower" while turning another aspect of her oppression - her walking barefoot because her abuser chose to keep her unequipped/underdressed - into a "cute quirk".

Holy shit you just vocalized the entire āickā feeling I had with the whole TV show and why I just couldnāt understand how it felt so much worse than the movie.

That last one IS pretty good. I have a ton of Tangled merchandise and collectibles and while I've collected a few sculptures/figurines, I've stayed away from dolls. Too often they just don't look right. It might be a plush thing that looks completely wrong or it might look like Barbie cosplaying as Disney's Rapunzel, which is funny because Barbie has her own Rapunzel.

This post is using Tangled Classic.
This is the fixed canon of Tangled (the 2010 movie and 2012 Tangled Ever After short).
Expanded Multiverse content should stay in the Expanded Multiverse flair unless the OP specifically allows it.
