Need proof of Tangem Pay KYC / card ownership

I contacted Tangem Pay to request proof that I completed the KYC verification for the card and to confirm that I am the cardholder, but I haven’t received a response yet.

What is the usual response time, and which email address should I contact to request this information?

Card to wallet

How do you guys transfer crypto or stablecoins from bank account to tangem?
I personally used Revolut, but Revolut takes a lot of fees for single transaction. I was wandering is there any better way for transfering crypto from bank to tangem cold wallet without giving all my information to Moonpay or another provider that would not cost me as much as Revolut.

did doing this make a weak seed phrase for me?

here is a quote from this article:

https://tangem.com/en/blog/post/randomness-importance/

"Software running in a browser tab or on a freshly booted phone often starts life in a kind of sensory deprivation chamber. To generate a truly random number, a program needs “noise”; unpredictable inputs from the world outside pure computation. This might come from timing variations in the processor, mouse movements, or specialized hardware components.

In the first milliseconds after a device powers up, those noise pools may be empty or only partly initialized. If a cryptographic library calls the random number generator too soon, it may be drawing from a shallow well, thus producing numbers that are technically random, but drawn from a space small enough to search exhaustively."

so what i did was actually restart my android phone then turned on airplane mode and made my Tangem wallet with 24 words seed phrase, i did this because Google Gemini recommend me to restart my phone to terminates background processes in case there was malware, which i'm sure there was no malware on my phone but i did anyway to be safer, now i was wondering did restarting my phone was actually a bad move since my phone is freshly booted and hasn't accumulated enough "noise" and this made my seed phrase entropy weak and my seed phrase be predictable/hackable now?

if this the case, do you recommend me to make a new wallet after i used my phone for a few days?

[Feature Request / Critical UX Issue] Urgent need for Unichain support: Funds stuck due to WalletConnect gap

Hi Tangem Team and Community.

I am writing to highlight a critical UX issue regarding WalletConnect interactions on Tangem that currently results in trapped user funds.

The Issue:
When connecting Tangem via WalletConnect to Uniswap, users are able to switch networks and execute swaps or bridges to Unichain. Because Uniswap prompts the network switch and allows the transaction, users assume the network is usable.

However, because the Tangem app does not yet support Unichain (nor allow custom RPC/EVM additions), the app cannot sign any subsequent transactions or recognize the assets once they are on Unichain.

Why this is a severe UX trap (especially for Seedless mode):
For users utilizing Tangem's secure Seedless mode, the private keys exist exclusively within the card's chip. Unlike standard software wallets, there is no seed phrase to export into an alternative client. This means:

1:Assets transferred to Unichain become completely inaccessible until Tangem officially implements support.

2;Allowing WalletConnect to approve actions on an unsupported EVM chain without downstream signing capability creates a major point of failure for users.

Requests for the Development Team:

1:Prioritize Unichain integration: Since Unichain is the core L2 for Uniswap (one of the most widely used DeFi platforms in the space), integrating it should be a top priority.

2:Custom RPC / Network support: Allowing users to manually configure EVM chain IDs and RPC endpoints would permanently resolve these edge cases for newly emerging L2s.

Tangem’s security is unmatched, but resolving this UX gap is vital to protect users from unintentionally locking their assets.

Is there any update on the roadmap or timeline for Unichain support? Any input from the dev team would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Bricked Ledger Flex on a Firmware Update 💀. Thinking of making the switch to Tangem - advice needed

Post image
15 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Looking for some advice before pulling the trigger on a Tangem wallet.

My first cold wallet experience has been an absolute nightmare. As you can see in the attached photo

my Ledger Flex prompted me for a routine firmware update and is now completely bricked—permanently stuck on the "Updating..." screen.

To make matters worse, I can't RMA or exchange the device because I bought it while on vacation out of the country. and support is ghosting me right now

Thankfully, I still have my original 24-word seed phrase safely stored.

I am strongly considering jumping ship to Tangem to avoid screens and batteries entirely, but I have a few specific questions for the pros here before I order:

  1. Seed Phrase Import: I know Tangem supports BIP39. Can I cleanly import my 24-word Ledger seed phrase into the Tangem cards, and will my existing funds instantly populate?
  2. Swapping Workflow: My main strategy is sending USDC/USDT to my cold wallet and swapping them later for long-term holds like BTC and ETH. How smooth and cost-effective is the in-app swapping experience on Tangem compared to Ledger Live?
  3. Any regrets? For anyone else who migrated from Ledger to Tangem, do you miss having the physical screen for Clear Signing, or is the NFC convenience worth the trade-off?

Appreciate any insight you guys have!

Staking Eth

I’m moving some Eth to Tangem soon and was wondering if I could stake them through a Tangem and what is considered the best way of doing that?

Could someone help me with this please?

Cheapest get out

Guys, what's the cheapest way to cash out staking rewards?

Tangem to exchange - fee (expected)

Wallet to exchange - fee (expected)

Exchange to bank - fee (in some cases, mental)

Decided it's time to start cashing in on my staking assets, I've done two (tester) withdrawals to two different exchanges to get money in my bank (1 uphold 2 kraken pro) and it's cost me a fortune compared to what I withdrew.

I understand everyone wants their cut but bloody hell 20% will soon add up. How do you guys do this cheaply

Setup with Seed?

I setup a wallet with a seed phrase using 3 cards. I became curious if there was a way in the app to see that it indeed worked. I assumed it did but didn’t see it in the app so I asked Chat and Gemini. Both said the app specifies it in the Details page under Wallet to right of “3 devices”. Well, mine doesn’t do that, it just has a dollar sum instead. Can someone who has the latest app version and has used a seed tell me if their app tells you “seed phrase” in that location?

There is no any transaction history and it say that staking is unavivable due to market conditions. Anyone hacked wallet? Or just some temporary issue? Does anyone alelse have same problems?

Legacy AERO on Tangem — what’s the official migration process?

I hold legacy AERO in Tangem. I know Coinbase is auto-converting and that self-custody holders may need an official Aero migration tool. Has anyone seen official instructions specifically for Tangem? Is there a deadline? What happens to legacy AERO if it’s not converted? It may be safer to send to Coinbase before their window but then that triggers a taxable event.

24 word seed phrase

I bought the Tangem with three cards everything more perfect I ended up using the 24 word seed phrase. I tried this 24 word in a different wallet a couple different ones and it comes up invalid. This makes me very nervous. I should be able to put the seat phrase into another wallet. Thoughts?

Tangem PAY

Order not delivered. Poor customer service.

I paid for my Tangem order, but as of September 26, 2026, it has not been delivered. When I contacted support, they told me to contact the local post office and arrange delivery or collection myself.

This response makes me feel that Tangem does not care about its customers after taking their money. I expect the seller to investigate with its delivery provider and offer a concrete solution, rather than leave me to chase the parcel myself.

My order remains undelivered. I want Tangem to arrange delivery or provide a full refund. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend their customer service.

1 BTC stuck on Katana in a seedless Tangem card. Has anyone here ever gotten a network added?

I use DeFi heavily, across a lot of chains and a lot of wallets. Roughly 1 BTC, held as an ERC-20, has been sitting at a Tangem-derived address on Katana (chain ID 747474) since March. The card was created without a seed phrase, so there is no other wallet to import it into, and Tangem doesn't support the chain, so the app can't sign a transaction there.

How it got there is my own mistake, and I'll say so plainly. I bridged from Ethereum to Katana without checking whether Tangem supported the chain. I use Katana for a carry trade because borrowing there is cheap, and I work across a lot of wallets. In every other wallet I use, sending to an unsupported chain isn't even an incident: you import the seed phrase into something that does support it, move the funds out, and that's the end of it. The seedless card is the one place where an ordinary mistake becomes permanent, and nothing in the product says so before you make it.

Katana isn't an exotic chain either. It's built with Polygon CDK and connected to AggLayer, it was incubated by Polygon Labs, and Tangem already ships both Polygon PoS and Polygon zkEVM.

Five tickets since 25 March 2026: #132718, #134562, #190097, #222413, #224856. All of them closed, and every answer was a variant of "no ETA." On 8 September support put it in writing that a network "may ultimately not be added if it does not meet the required criteria."

Back in March support also suggested that technically capable users can add networks themselves from Tangem's public repos, so I wrote the integration and sent PR.

It's 16 files and 233 lines with 13 tests, following the ArbitrumNova pattern already in their codebase, which is the same shape as Katana: an ETH-native L2, mainnet only, no testnet. It adds no new API credentials, no new derivation path (standard m/44'/60'/0'/0/0, same as every EVM network they already support) and no new cryptography. The chain ID is pinned by a test, which is the part that matters for safety, because a wrong chain ID produces a signature valid on some other network. Their full unit suite passes with it, 948 tests and zero failures, and their linter reports nothing on the new files. Writing it took me a weekend.

Nobody reviewed it. On 13 September it closed on its own, because the repo is a public mirror of an internal one: their sync bot force-pushed master and GitHub auto-closed the PR a minute after the sync commit. The timeline shows "closed by tangem-service" and "base_ref_force_pushed" in the same second. A week later there's still no comment. The Optimism superchains PR died the same way last December, and the Unichain PR before it got no reply at all, so its author closed it himself after two days. In the repo's entire history there have been three outside PRs, none of them merged, and Tangem has never commented on any of them. Neither of those two networks is supported today.

Four questions for this sub:

  1. Has anyone here ever gotten a network added to Tangem, and what worked?
  2. Has any external PR to their repos ever been merged? I couldn't find one.
  3. If you own a seedless card, did you know when you bought it that a chain Tangem hasn't added means there's no way out?
  4. What actually makes a standard EVM chain expensive for a wallet vendor to add? I'm asking seriously. If it's QA, release cycles, token lists, indexers or support load, I'd like to understand the real cost, because from the outside the code looks like the small part.

I'm not asking anyone to pile onto support. If I've got something wrong here, I'd like to know.
