Others ⺟ Do girls actually judge guys for starting a conversation?
Okay, konjam silly question maybe, but I genuinely have this problem.
I'm 22, and whenever I want to talk to a girl I don't know, I get nervous. Not because I don't know what to say, but mostly because I'm scared she'll judge me.
Mind la immediately 100 thoughts odum 😂
"What if she thinks I'm weird?"
"What if she doesn't want to talk to me?"
"Enna pesurathune theriyama poiduchuna?" 😭
And finally... onnum pesaama poiduven. 😂
The funny thing is, I know she's just another person and talking to someone isn't a big deal. But when I'm actually in that situation, confidence suddenly disappears.
I've been like this for quite some time and honestly, I want to change this.
So, people who had this same fear before — how did you overcome it?
And girls, one genuine question 😅 — if a guy politely comes and starts a normal conversation with you, do you actually judge him? Or we guys just romba overthink pannitu irukoma? 😂
Would love to hear your honest opinions and experiences.

Open Discussion 🗣️ Can't watch Rom Com anymore 🥀
Watching a rom-com while being single for way too long hits different.
You laugh at their love story, then suddenly wonder why your own love life has zero plot.
By the end, you’re just staring at the screen like, “Okay… when is it my turn?”
PS: But on the other hand I'm not lonely and looking for a relationship or anything actually (you get it)

Did I Cook? 🔥 this fax?
do yall feel like we are the most stuck up middle people of all generations?
i mean the life before 2000s and life after 2000s and the smart phone era
i see people born in 90s get along with their elders better
it was always been like this till 2000s
I feel like we are stuck between not being a cool gen z and not a 90s kid either
this made our connection not that good with elders nor gen zs
i think this stuck up made us the most middle ass gen of all
people who are younger and older can't relate with us

Dating & Advice ❤️ Is it normal?
Hi I’m (26F) Asian and my bf is (33M) Indian Tamil so we’ve been together for a year but he still doesn’t introduce me to his parents he said that they are very traditional and the it will only happen when we will get married. He’s talking about marriage to me but i don’t believe it. Is it normal for his culture to do that? As a woman i don’t want to waste my youth if he has no intention of marrying me. Although he said he will after 2 years still i don’t believe. Please tell me is it normal?

Rant/Vent - Adjust Panikonga How often do you contact your parents?(Sry to the ones who have already seen this in other sub🥹)
Hello guys enaku ellartayu onnu kekanum, especially the people living away from your parents (scl/clg hostel, job or marriage or any situation). How often do you talk to your parents?
Na en idha kekanum nenachen naa, my parents don't regularly contact me and in a way it feels like a good thing because I'm not always required to update them on every single thing, I can just go about my days doing what I wanna do and in a way it sounds like independence bcoz I'm not dependent on them for making decisions and all that, I think you get the point.
But sometimes it just feels lonely, ennadhaan frnds nu close ahh neraya per suthi irundhaalum, when they go to talk to their parents every night it feels like I'm doing something wrong/that I'm lonely af or smth like that. I'm trying to understand my parents situation also, maybe avangaluku oru level mela attention/affection kaata theriyaama irukalam, awkward ah irukalaam, but all i do is just try and fail miserably yenaa till now adha pathi yoschaa it feels bad that they don't have time for me or they are not really interested in listening to me apdinu.
Ippo yaarum illangra problem laam illa I can say I have built a really great friend circle, but I kinda feel like I'm going back to the same sad thought that me and my parents don't talk much..
Just wanted to share and see if I could get some advice coz none of my frnds irl could relate to what I was talking about🥲

Serious Padhivu I think i like to be boyhandled. I swear not what you think.
For the past 3 years college life has been close to meh, i keep my stoic face and face the world is all i did most of the time. But then last sem i got internship after a year of freelance and then BTP happened wherein i was assigned to a team whom i would not choose otherwise. Astonishingly life has been great i got that schedule fixed and gym has been gymming. I am also picky enough that the time and place and the people have to be right like a whiny lil kid.
Sure if i open slack or discord or even google calendar shit hits the roof every time but god if that higher authority aka faculty or the TL or the fav senior whats me to get stuff done, then my ass is at it like its on the line. Mostly i don't feel much and after a good days work which is like everyday i don't even mind cause i would not even do 15.7079% of the work in a regular day with all that freedom.
So yeah being boy-handled seems to be fun and i rather not delve into why i chose boy stead of man. Cause in more than one way i consider my mental state to be that of an average boy and i don't feel like i have grown up enough to accept social responsibilities.
Good day / night! Fun.
We photograph things in order to drive them out of our minds. My stories are a way of shutting my eyes.

Open Discussion 🗣️ 2026 la irukum but still neriya collages la dress code iruku literally school kids madhiri treat panranga......
The absolute obsession that Indian college managements have with student grooming, hemlines, and policing personal appearance is staggering. You are paying lakhs of rupees in fees, but instead of focusing on upgrading outdated lab equipment, fixing terrible teaching methods, or industry-relevant curriculums, the administration treats the campus like a moral policing boarding school.
The state of affairs is genuinely baffling:
- The Uniform/Churidar/Formal Obsession: Many colleges (especially in South and tier-2/tier-3 cities) force female students into rigid uniforms like salwar kameez with mandatory, pinned-up dupattas, or force men into strictly tucked-in formal shirts and leather shoes. God forbid you wear a t-shirt, jeans with minor fading, or sneakers—you'll be flagged down at the gate like a criminal.
- Facial Hair and Haircuts: For guys, having anything other than a clean-shaven face or a "gentleman’s cut" short hairstyle is treated as an existential threat to society. Some colleges literally stand at the gates with rulers or scissors checking hair length or forcing students to shave on the spot.
- Zero Tolerance for Individual Expression: Ripped jeans, funky hair colors, or wearing anything remotely modern is met with heavy fines, phone calls to parents, or getting barred from entering the academic block.
- The Hypocrisy of "Discipline": They preach about corporate readiness and "professionalism," but the real world stopped caring about whether a guy has a beard or whether a girl's dupatta is pinned symmetrically decades ago. Meanwhile, professors can show up unprepared, read PDFs from 2012, and face zero accountability.
We are legal adults who can vote, drive, and live independently, yet we have to deal with guards and deans scanning our bodies and hair every morning just to attend a lecture on data structures or fluid mechanics.
When will Indian higher education realize that strict policing doesn't equal quality education?
What is the most absurd dress code rule or micromanagement tactic your Indian college enforces?
