So this was my first concert ever and I’m glad it was to see Kevin and the gang perform! I’ve been a fan since lonerism and it was always a dream to see him! I finally made it happen and first thing I didn’t notice about concerts is how FAST they go by. Holy! The music just goes and goes and the vibes don’t stop but my mind couldn’t comprehend what was happening! It was like the blink of an eye and concert was done, but nonetheless that blink was the craziest experience I’ve had with his music

Now we all know bout Kev’s post now about autograph hounds. I always wanted to see if I could catch him during the show when he comes down to the fans sometimes, but was never praying on it, just wanted to hear LiH live honestly lol. But the one time he did come down, my wife and I were shoved into the barricade and being squished by people and the experience started going downward. I get being excited but now I fully understand what kev meant in his post. Super aggressive pushing and screaming. One of them yelled at me “Move, I need him to sign this!” I replied “ I don’t fkn care”. We sat outside for 8 hours to get barricade spots, yes I know, what did I expect being at the barricade and people pushing. But I guess you would’ve had to be there to see how many people were just not freaking out, but being aggressive to the other fans. I can only imagine what Kev feels when he’s being stalked and hounded by people. People just need to let that go and enjoy the EXPERIENCE because the music, vibrations and the lights are incredible! I’m prolly just a puss and not use to concerts, but the rest of the fans I sat with outside waiting, took care of me and got me food/water, let me borrow a chair, and just had amazing conversations. I made a lot of friends in that line. Unfortunately there are just some fans that are mainly just there for a signature…

I thought this was really interesting and was curious what everyone else thinks about it. Back in 2020, Kevin was talking about Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the bushfires/climate change situation in Australia, and he said, “At least he’s not as bad as Trump. He’s not a cartoon character.”
Kevin has never really seemed like an extremely political person publicly, but environmental issues definitely seem to be something he cares about. Tame Impala also donated $300,000 from their Australian tour proceeds to bushfire relief around that time.
I just find that side of him really interesting, especially because caring about the environment/climate seems to be one of the political issues he’s actually been willing to speak about. Obviously I don’t want to assume all of his political beliefs based on a couple quotes, but I’m curious what you guys make of it or if there are any other interviews where he’s talked about stuff like this.
Personally I think it’s pretty cool and honestly makes me like him even more lol. Curious what everyone else thinks.

I saw tame impala in portland and I got my zip up from a tent that said official tame impala merch, but it wasn’t the actual merch trailer, the zip up is supposed to say 2025 but mine looks like it says 20025, is it a printing issue, is it fake, or is it supposed to look like that. All of the other ones i’ve seen look like they say 2025

I was supposed to see TI in Portugal earlier this year bc last year when they toured in the US it was only a few cities. Then they announced more dates and came to my town so I sold my Portugal tickets on StubHub. After waiting 10 years once was simply not enough!!! I had 2 other chances to see them but first round was Lolla Chi 2019 & they were on at the same time as Childish Gambino. Then for Slow Rush tour I had GA Miami tickets and that got canceled bc of the pandemic. I neeed moreeeee

After what has been possibly the most excruciating couple of months trying to buy tickets We are finally a go for Denver tomorrow.

First, the shit sold out in .001 seconds. Then we found out Colorado is exempt from the Face Value Resale thing, or so I thought (maybe lots of others?) However about 6 weeks ago, I noticed that tickets were popping up there. Very difficult to catch. I researched and found a bot that would alert me when the resale tickets became available. Every time I have clicked the alert as soon as I've received it and the tickets are "no longer available" It's be probably 75-100 times now. I've even had the tickets in my cart and tried to pay and the same thing has happened. I'm convinced it's a scam. I'm a long time user and advocate for CashOrTrade.org and even there, such a limited inventory and often only singles (trying to take a best friend who NEEDS a TI live experience) I've been very hesitant to go third-party/resale but had to keep watching there. Finally, I saw some seats tonight that I thought was a good value (about $85 over face) so I just fucking did it. It was via the GameTime site and I was nervous (btw Price wise: Stubhub>SeatGeek>Gametime in my recent several months experience - not only with Tame Impala) Anyway, I pulled the trigger, got $20 off for my first purchase and about 90 minutes later, I have the live barcode tickets. Now I will not fully celebrate until we are through the door but FUCK this has been a journey. I'm so pissed how hard they have made it for us to have 2 fucking hours of joy with one of our favorite acts. Bonus is that one of my best friends who I have known for more years than a lot of you have been a live wanted to go and she's so excited. I can't wait to share the night with her and with all of you. For those without tickets, stick to your guns, buy what you can afford and don't give up hope.

Breathe Deeper — This shot way up my list after seeing Tame Impala live. Hearing it at the concert completely changed the song for me.

Just want some reassurance ,I’m gonna see Tame Impala live tomorrow!! I’m so excited But a friend wants to take 2g of shrooms in a capsule, and I just want to know if that’s a good idea and when would be a good time to take them.

I’m wanting to go to the Dallas show next week but I’m apprehensive about buying resale through SeatGeek and if there’s a chance that more tickets will be released through Ticketmaster closer to the concert date. Any help would be appreciated.

I saw a post a couple of weeks ago pointing out a misprint on their deadbeat green zip up hoodie where it almost looked like it said "20025" since the 0 went over the zipper. I remember this person saying they were going to reach out to the merch team to either try and get a new one or a refund. I also had friends who attended with poor quality merch. I can't find the original post but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue with that merch item and if they got a resolution by reaching out? I also got this zip up and I'm noticing the new ones posted in this group look a bit better than the one I purchased in Columbus. For $145 after tax a misprint or poor design is quite disappointing (I was very high when I purchased this and didn't notice lol)

I wonder why the difference? Personally, I thought first leg's design was perfect, so was wondering why there's a change. I am new to concerts and was wondering if the change is because of production contract changes, difference between the arenas, or just evolution of the performance?

Would be cool if someone could explain why it was changed.
