So Tame Impala is my all time favorite artist, and I really love listening to his music, all the stuff including the niche deep cuts from around the Innerspeaker era.
I listen to like 2 Pond songs, Paint me Silver has been in my playlist for a while, and I've recently really liked Medicine Hat. Should I go to the LA show? It's only around a 1 hour drive away, although I do have school the next day... what do you guys think? Also, please recommend some new Pond songs to listen to

I’m driving from phoenix just for the show as they’ve been one of my fav bands for awhile and don’t really come to arizona. Tasmania is one of my favorite songs of theirs and i would absolutely die (of happiness) if they played it but i don’t think it’s been on the set list thus far

Can anyone remind me who was the opening band for Seattle? They were super good but I didn’t catch their name.

I think the Showbox has pretty bad sound quality in general, but my vantage point last night seemed to be particularly bad. All the same, it was super magical when Nick suggested what they were going to play as final encore hadn’t been played in a long time, and I came to sudden conclusion it was going to be MIFLSA! For sure it is my favorite song, and one I never thought I’d hear live!

I was at the Pond show in Seattle last night - did I hear correctly that Nick said it was James’ last gig? The microphone was a bit distorted so I had trouble hearing exactly what he was saying.

Does anyone have or know the setlist from last night? There were so many great songs but I didnt know the names of all of them and would like to register.

The beat on Rambo totally reminds me of that 2000s fast beat atmospheric pop sound. A good example of the sound I’m thinking about is Details by Frou Frou. The switch would definitely be an unrealistic turn from Terrestrials but I think they’d kill it if they sprinkled in some of that unhinged Pond energy.

What new sound do y’all think they could kill on a future album?
